I absolutely love your attitude (and laughs) towards gardening - keeping it simple, casual and fun. Makes those of us learning not feel bad because we don't have perfect gardens in looks or performance. Be proud of what you have accomplished and the many you have reached.

Please don't ever apologize for taking care of yourself! Honestly, more people need to understand it's okay to put themselves first. And if that means a week or two without content, so be it. Your health is far more important.
the garden will soon be exploding with plants, looking forward to it! My inner gardener is already tapping her foot while telling the seeds to grow faster. Can't wait to get to work!

Hello Asia you have really inspired me to start back growing again. I shared with you that I have chronic back and hip pain. I am 62 but today planted potatoes in containers and a few in grow bags. Thank you so much, I pushed through the pain for the moment🌱💚🌹🌻😍

Once again thank you. You really don’t know how much of an influencer you are. I start winter sowing 3 months ago and my arugula is booming. I did about six jugs in all and the are all sprouting. I use 7 gal grow bags. I know just because it’s on the shelf at the big box store doesn’t mean it’s in season. You are a teacher, instructor, you are the one that knows your garden. Never worry about if your entertaining or intriguing. YOU ARE! YOU ARE RELEVANT, and like so many other viewers we truly enjoy your videos. Keep up the great work!

Hi how are you? I wanted to let you know that you are doing a great job. When I started I had 8 chickens and one day I opened the coop and one was not living and it looked like something had gotten into my coop but it was that they knew she was sick and got rid of her themselves. Nature is crazy and amazing in that way. They know how to keep themselves healthy. I would love to visit your homestead. Love the set up

Sorry about your chicken. When one of my girls wasn't doing well. I separated her by putting her in a dog kennel. I gave her vitamins and herbs and took a lot of time with her. I thought she was egg bound, but that wasn't it. Whatever it was, she came through. I'm with you on the cabbage. This was my first year successfully growing cabbage. I let it stay, and surprisingly, it formed a head. You have a head start in your garden. That's wonderful. Me, I'm just getting started. Tfs

Your channel is so inspiring, I've referred many people to it. I had some people standing in my way but kept on not taking no for an answer anyway *yes, I DO NEED a food garden* until I broke through the barriers they threw in my path, as I'm determined to get a good harvest this year. The grocery store is becoming too expensive to cover food for the whole month. Last year I only grew a few things and didn't get much fruit because of the rain and humidity and starting later, but this year will be different. I have alot of seedlings I've started indoors the past few months and are ready to plant, and are hardening them off now and ready to germinate some more varieties now that I have space freed up under the grow light!
I've had alot of those moments you speak about the past several months and a times it seemed like a longshot but by some miracle I finally found someone to help me get cattle panels home and another person to help me get them put up in my garden space, something I almost had given up on after months of no help! Now I can do some serious growing.
I have seeds of some of the same flowers you mentioned and have a few more garden beds I dug up in spots that get more sun, so it will be exciting to see if I can get flowers to grow. Alot of my yard is shady because of so many trees, but I have one area on the side of the house that can probably provide enough sun to do it! I will be also putting Roselle there, and some vegetable plants.
Also, I was lucky enough to get ahold of a pack of 10 seeds of the true Purple Tomato from Norfolk Healthy Produce and am so excited to be one of the limited few who are going to get to have these this year! I feel like I just received a "golden ticket" like in Willie Wonka's chocolate factory!

I had a learning experience with winter sowing. I learned some things that I plan to do differently next year. I have to keep up on my watering because I felt like some things could have been watered more. Some things have sprouted but others are empty, so I ended up planting more seedings inside. I'm going to start on putting my garden beds together this weekend. With the storm its just been too cold and windy trying to put it together on my off workdays. I love how your garden is coming together. It looks so great. Definitely taking care of yourself and yours comes first. I understand needing a break. My husband and I had to do the same from work today, sometimes you just need that mental break.

I like how you use the space you have to grow so many different fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers. Will you expand into the old pool area? Or do something else? ❤❤❤😊
