If you can, try shoveling one of the ant hill on top of the other one and they will kill each other fighting without adding chemicals
She has mentioned in other videos that she tried that and it didn’t work. 😢
I went through the same struggle in my garden in Louisiana. The fire ants make it impossible to garden bc the slightest disturbance brings them all out, angrily. It was miserable. I found relief with the plastic ant bait stakes. They worked very well. I tried a granular ant killer before that and it did nothing. I tried to maintain an organic approach but nothing worked (including intermixing different ant piles). Organic is all ways the gold standard but if it's a matter of gardening safely then I think making the exception to get rid of them (and safely garden) then do what you must!
Blessings Family - if you move some ants from one ant hill to another, they will kill each other off. No chemicals required. Also boiling water works.

You can get some amdro fire ant killer and place it in a small container and set the it in the area where the ants are located. Moisten the granules to activate it. The ants will carry it to the queen and kill the entire colony. This way you won't have to sprinkle directly on the soil. Also ants do not care for coffee grounds.

It's a pesticide called " seven" liquid or powder.There is a ant killer called " surrender " .I saw the reviews on Amazon. And everyone seemed to LOVE IT! .The downside is that you cant use it in garden but the outside. Just research i cant remember all the stats. @faithfamilyhomestead
I’m surprised the diatomaceous earth didn’t work for you. They got rid of my ants in less than a week. I put the ant piles on top of each other, broke up the pile with a shovel and dumped ALOT of it on. I hope you get rid of them soon. Fire ants are the worst (after pill bugs 😖)

Do you know anything about putting Blue dawn dishsoap on ant nest in the garden? I been trying to research it cause the fire ants are building nest in all my raise beds. They took over my compost bin, I was starting, and I tried the BT in it, and it didn't do anything, but then I put the dawn soap in it, and they are all gone. 🎉 praise the Lord, but now I have to figure out if the compost needs to be discarded or not.

I'm not sure if this is what you're dealing with but the ants were attracted to eggs where I used to live. I had to stop adding egg shells to my house plants because it got so bad! ☹️

This is an old technique. I learned from my great grandpa you take cigarette juice really cigarette butts, turned out in a gallon of water, a week old worth and you take that juice and you insert little jars with the juice all around your bed, the ants and most of the grubs do not like the smell of it it’s been working for me for years

Look at my ant trap short, works wonderfully without putting anything in your soil that affects food. You sit it in the bed and they re-direct to it. Ants are my nemesis every year and I put my traps behind things in the yard and it killed THOUSANDS It was so satisfying 😂
You need traps in your hoop house I noticed your ants a lot of videos back. You used diatomaceous earth but you need a poison trap. You will always fight them and aphids if you don’t re-direct them to a poison that will kill them and the queen. I fight black ants.
Fire ants can only be killed with a gun lmao j/k but they are ruthless.
