On this great celebration of the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, meditating upon the number three will tell us a lot of what we need to know about the Spirit, whose distinctive mark is not oppressive unity, nor conflictual diversity, but unity in diversity. The Church is one Body with many parts, animated by one Spirit manifesting many spiritual gifts.

We are all different but we all love and believe in one Lord Jesus Christ. That is Unity in Diversity.
Please pray for me. I’m still trusting in God even though I’m struggling putting groceries in the refrigerator for my two children. My faith is what is getting me through my situation. I’m struggling to providing for my two autistic children since losing my job over declining the vaccine. I declined due to my pre existing health condition (Lupus) and Heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption from Forsyth Hospital. My husband passed away three years ago, I’m a single mother. I’m all alone. Every month is a struggle, a battle to not end up on the streets. I’m so depressed and embarrassed by my situation. I’ve been put down and mocked because of my circumstances. BUT Even as I face homelessness with two young children. I know that God will carry me through and provide abundantly. Thank you Jesus thank you Heavenly Father.

It is a good reminder that we all have different spiritual gifts. So many times we feel like we have to be like everyone else. But God has made us as individuals with our own talents. May we be thankful for our spiritual gifts and use them to glorify Him.

Bishop Barron, the times of God are perfect. The readings of this Sunday plus your wonderful sermon compile a lot that has been discussed in your previous videos.
The solution of what is happening is the Holy Spirit. We will continue to divide ourselves and become less holy if we do not live the presence of the Holy Spirit and humbly surrender ourselves to him.
I have been feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit since childhood and now at 67 a feel it even more. I am hungry to follow his guidance and let the HS.
I have served many years in many different ways; in Church, at work, in the family in the streets. I feel we are seeing a drop of attendance at churches and people are moving away from God.
The Holy Spirit in the world, in us, is the one to touch every soul and get people together.
It requires faith and the feeling of the HS presence every second of our lives. The Church lacks promoting all to get closer or more conscious of this presence and act on it. We are not to get credit, just be instruments for it to spread.
Thanks for allowing me to share. Perhaps I am not clear on expressing what I think and believe.

Bishop Barron: I attended the ordination of priests yesterday (Sunday), you were there.I want to tell you; a few years ago I took Holy Communion from you✝️ (at the same L.A. Cathedral) I was wearing a Virgen of Guadalupe white T-shirt, someone tall was before me in line and when he moved aside I was surprised to see you. wish I had thanked you after Holy Mass for your series *Word on Fire: Catholicism* , "the beauty, truth and goodness of our Catholic Church" is sublime (those series enriched my faith).
I consider myself traditional Catholic (veil and everything) and I can be radical and stubborn sometimes, but that is what I feel deep in my heart because the Catholic Church - even with today's crisis -- is still One and Holy and it is pristine because It is the Bride of Our Lord Jesus Christ, we Catholics are so blessed, thank you again, and may God guide you with His Holy Spirit✝️🛐🍃🕊️ may His blessed Mother Virgin Mary of Guadalupe intercede for you🌹🙏

I definitely thought about Pentecost alive before me when I attended World Youth Day 2019 in Panama. Bishop Barron is insightfully to say that the different national identities aren't erased, but affirmed, and then enhanced by coming together as One Church. He's also insihgtful to mention that God is more powerful than sin because He rose from the dead, and He breathes new Life into us, granting us forgiveness so we can give it to others.

"You're just playing mr dressup in the sacristy . Get out there and do something and help the poor" Man that is funny Bishop. You have a very good kind or 60s and 70s humor that we from that generation get a wonderful kick out of. God knows we heard a lot of inanity like that or said it ourselves.
We had real tics in our pretty disordered brains but many of us eventually came out of it with strong faith and humor. Fr Mitch Pacwa is another of that kind of humor and faith
