Prayer will absolutely no effect on the awful situation in ukraine absolutely nothing, prayer has no quantifiable effect, otherwise cancer in babies would have stopped. Bishop Barron is an expert at talking about things he cannot possible know, he is a parasite as is the catholic church

Yes I know your not Jesus, my life has been turned upside and my light is dim.
Your light is bright, I send a lot of time in adoration, I know God has a plan and he only works for the good. But I am not seeing the good, each day I try my best to hang on that nugget of hope and I do find a blessing always.
I have been trying to hang on since 2009, and I try each and everyday, within this crazy world.
You Bishop Barron could save a lot of living souls, please do a program on Spiritual direction and give us little ones some hope and help us get our lights just a bit brighter. I pray and ask all this in his most precious name, Jesus Christ.🙏🏼❤️☮️.

Bishop Barron, you might find this interesting. Kallistos Ware, our brother in the Orthodox tradition (see CCC 838), was once asked by a Protestant brother: "Are you saved?" He responded, "I trust that by God's grace, I am being saved" (continuous form of the present tense).

I'm reminded of the words of Pope Francis. When a journalist asked him who he was, he responded saying he was a sinner whom God had looked upon favourably.
Pope Francis didn't miss the boat.

If you want to be a saint, follow the discipline that leads there, and the example of the saints who went before you. The rosary and persistence in prayer, ministry to the poor and suffering, and/or the vows of the monks and clergy... whatever God calls you to do when you listen with your heart. And find someone experienced to share those tasks with you. We all need help to cultivate virture and root out vice and sin, and we all pass through the dark night. We all need a friend to help us.

I went to St. Dominics in San Francisco 5 years ago and confessed after not having been in church for a while and my priest Father Augustine gave me Bishop Barron's Catholicism box set to watch as penance. i have since started reading a lot of great Christian literature, Gustave Flaubert "Temptations of St. Anthony", Thomas Merton "Silence, Joy", "Summa Theologica" and I am taking a class called Dante in Translation that Yale has put on TH-cam. I can't stop watching this video, it is so good and came at a perfect time when it needed to be shared with a friend. She was being lead astray and I shared it with her and she is no longer with the wrong group. Thank you so much and bless you with a long life and please make DVD's of your sermons. I hope we have more bishops like you around the world to help the weak understand and the strong to march on with courage and conviction to battle evil where ever it is found. The Memorarae prayer is very useful for applying our intensions for Ukraine since it is She who said Russia will be converted and Her heart will Triumph.

This is excellent Bishop thank you. It's so loud out there sometimes that it's difficult to discern spirits. I tend to look at the commentary as an indication of the fruits online. If there's lots of anger and judgy pants I get out of there. I thank God for all the gifts He gave you to guide us.

one of the hardest commandments to follow for christians is the commandment from christ not to judge others. There's usually a big but! to give them the authority to judge.
Jesus also said to judge rightly (John 7:24). Fraternal correction is necessary to keep the flock clean from evil ones; 1 Corinthians Chapter 5; Church application to scripture can be found here: CCC 2478.

@@davidsprouse151 "Bro., don't judge me!" and there we have it. The end of all arguments or at least that's what some people wish it would be. But it isn't. We are to refrain from rash judgements. See we can't judge the heart of a person, that is the realm of God, because He can know the totality of a person's life. Where the person ends up at the end of their mortal life is really a choice they make. God doesn't interfere in that decision. [Free will.] But we judge all the time. You "judged" that @Hart Ponder and me "missed the boat." Then went even further and assumed we don't "read our Bible!" I know you don't know me and I bet you don't know Mr. Ponder either. Good job in proving my point! Pax et Bonum!
