@@Call_Upon_YAHwe do not worship Mary. That would be the heresy of idolatry condemned an uncountable number of times by the Church. Praying to her and other saints is merely communication, we’re asking them to pray for us in the same way that you would ask your friend to pray for you. Please do your research before making such claims.
I'm a practicing cradle Catholic. I never thought my faith could be stronger until the last 6 months of my sister's life as I cared for her 24-7 with brain cancer. I KNOW the Lord was with me. I felt his presence strongly. I called on Him often as she could do nothing herself. I was able to carry her only by the Grace of God. I actually felt him in our trials and Know Christ conquered death on the cross and she is with Him now. All praise & Thanksgiving to God
What is a cradle Catholic? You were baptized and confirmed as a baby? That came to me as I was typing this message to you. I am a recent convert. 2 years now!!
@@bethhivley2633 Generally it means someone from a Catholic family, which might include an infant baptism. Even for those who were baptized as a baby, confirmation usually happens later -- around the age of 10.
@bethhivley2633 🙏 welcome. Yep. Baptized at about 1 month old, but wayyyyy delayed for confirmation, not until about 40 years old. Always practiced but fell thru the cracks for confirmation. Thx for the comment & God bless you.
God's special blessings for what you did for your sister. I'm now 70, but an only who lost both parents to cancer. I did not have the burden you did, so I can only sympathize with you. But God grants a special grace, I believe, to caregivers such as yourself. In Christ and with his love.
When my father had dementia and was praying aloud with complete unawareness of mom and I in the room, it became evident that he had such closeness to the Lord that he spoke as I would never dare to. Instead of praying for his health which had taken a sudden, sharp turn, his prayer was asking, pleading with the Lord to, "...give the people work. You have done it before...so do it!" I thought at that moment how like a child he spoke to God. I will never forget it.
I encounter Jesus personally in the sacraments, including adoration, but I also know the Trinity lives inside of me and I speak with Him throughout the day as a friend and I know He hears me. I was only 7 when i began speaking woth Mother Mary heart to heart and she has led me into a personal relationship with her Son. This love from encountering Jesus daily, moment by moment, personally and knowing Presence with me has led to a deep love for Him! Jesus said we must come to Him as a child, don't overcomplicate it ...just speak with Him heart to heart. Before the Blessed Sacrament is wonderful, but He is with you even now ❤

Agree.. read 33 Days to Morning Glory by Michael E. Gaitley in knowing , hearing Jesus, etc. Either through our thoughts , from other events, through our prayers , through our a activities . etc. Goals to become closer to Him. Etc. In church sitting in His presence, adorations, in quiet moments of looking over our events. To become closer, to feel His presence. Mother Theresa, St Pope John Paul, st Louis DeMontfort, St Maximiian Kobi, had strong devotion to Jesus loves and He spoke to hem spiritually and so all of us. Through our spirit we can have a personal connection relationship. ❤with our Saviour.. when I am worried so uncertain about my Circumstances, cross so to speak, He makes everything right. I love Him. We are soo fortunate that He is with us.

Thank you Bishop for your words. Last Saturday I went to confession after having been away for three months. Although I was not drowning in deep sin, when I left the confessional I experienced such joy that I could only compare it with the joy of receiving Christ in the Eucharist. I realized then that Jesus is with me in both sacraments, perhaps more fully in one than in the other, but He is there.
In the gloomy dark night or bright sunny shiny day, *In the cool morning light or beneath stormy cloudy skies, I'll be walking by your side and that is all I need,* Calling your Name, Jesus, your sweet Name.
That reminds me of two things St. Paul wrote, " The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if only we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with him." (Rom. 8: 16-17) and also, "Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am filling up what is lacking in Christ's afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the Church" (Col. 1: 24). Thank you for the admonition and encouragement, sir.
To the young man, David, who asked the question. I'm a Catholic young adult in Nashville. You're coming to a really good diocese. Bishop Barron gave really good suggestions. Also, you might want to get involved with the Catholic young adult groups here as well, they are really good. If you don't already attend daily Mass, you may want to consider it.
I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. John 15:14-17 ♥️✝️. Thank you Bishop Baron, I just looked that up…. it’s a beautiful passage.
A heartfelt thank you Bishop Barron. I grew up a Protestant, became and agnostic/atheist in my 20's, and returned to a belief in God in my 40's. The things I witnessed during the last few years removed all doubt of the authenticity and the wonder of our God, of His Son and Holy Spirit. It came after I prayed for faith, just any faith at all. I wanted what I didn't have. I used to think I couldn't reach out, pray, try to yearn for Christ if I had doubts at all. I pushed against disbelief, and prayed that God would melt away my cynicism and jadedness. To make a long story short, He did indeed, praise be to Christ our Lord. You have been like a beacon to believers, young and old, new and seasoned alike. I am considering a conversion to Catholicism. Please know that people like me, newly redeemed, long for the clarity and unwavering belief that the Catholic Church and its traditions represent, what it was and is, not what it can become to be more accommodating and relevant in the modern age. God Bless you Sir, continue to be that representative of Christ. Shine in clear, loving, and steadfast opposition to this present age.
My prayer for you to become a faithful witness for Christ Jesus and the Catholic Church. We need more people who are standing in the gap to share the joy of Christ and the continuing and unwavering faith of our Catholic Church. God bless.
I have watched this twice. Makes sense. Getting to know Jesus personally is easy for the believer. Attending mass, saying the traditional rosary (Bishop's own impeccable recitations on youtube)and these days virtual adoration helps for the house bound. Lots of little chants can be used. eg Jesus I trust in you (end summary of divine mercy chaplet), Into your hands Lord, I commend my spirit, friendly conversations with Jesus: What do you think Jesus, I should do here? I leave this problem to you to sort out for me, Come holy spirit and fill thy faithful with the power of love, etc, etc.
As an orthodox Anglican, I believe what is written in John 14:6. "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 6:44 “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them".
I would want to think that the fire and passion with which Bishop Barron speaks about Jesus which is so often in his preaching, his zeal for the Church the mystical body of Jesus, his feeling for those that have wandered etc are plenty evidence of his own personal relationship with Jesus.

Thank you for this topic. I as a cradle practising Catholic have always questioned and wondered what my Baptist and non Catholic Christian friends meant by “ having a personal relationship with Jesus”? You have clarified that and also as we Catholics should through the church develop our friendship with the Lord Jesus. Thank you Bishop Barron.
The best relationship we can have with Jesus Christ is reading the bible , praying to Jesus Christ , and to receive the body and blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ every mass on Sunday. No better relationship than Holy Communion!
Appreciate your sermon Bishop Robert Barron. I have been in the Catholic Church for 79 years. There is about a billion Catholics world wide and I can realize why so many people are Catholic because of clergy like you who are inspirational and caring! Anthony Joseph Lucchese
I ask the Holy Spirit every day to help me not to be deaf or blind to His orientations.. Surely He is with me always enlightening my day, helping me growing in metanoia.
So glad you're back Bishop. I miss these long form shows with you and Brandon. I could seriously listen to a 30 minute show 5 days a week. It would help me get through my work week. Thanks for all you do.

Thank you Bishop Robert. I'm always following your teachings/talks to know more about JESUS especially our Catholic Faith. God bless you Bishop. Avé Maria.🙏🕊️
All I can say is, we are all fortunate to be able to listen and absorb the words that Bishop Barron is speaking about, the Scriptures through his powerful and honest interpretation are becoming clearer and lovable, meaningful and absorbed into our senses 👏 “Christianity is unique!” By Bishop Barron, yes, indeed, it has no parallel anywhere because Jesus is the whole Body and Blood of Christianity 🙏 Well, talking about how Jesus looks like, my all time favorite and beloved picture of Jesus is that beautiful Image from the Sacred Heart Fathers Religious Community! Looking at that Image, Jesus eyes follow you in every direction (my family calls the Image as the Eyes of Christ) I always smile when looking up at that big framed picture while I pray because Jesus looks so beautiful, so loving, and so real to me, and, always looking straight at me! ♥️ And then I start crying because I feel so very humbled by His true love ♥️
Bishop Barron, Your commencement speech at Hillsdale College was inspired. I read in Im Primus. I encourage everyone to find it. I pray for your continued apostolate and mostly for your courage as we face a Church leadership intent on destroying our Lord’s truth. God bless.
Well that was deeply personal and lucid from Bishop Barron. An excellent hosting job was done as well. I am a lapsed catholic, but I am being pulled in with this type of dialogue
Bishop Barron I really enjoyed your nice way of saying “I gave all vestments to dry cleaner😃😃. “I know it is tiring but you put it in such a way taking everything for the sake of HIS name no matter how tired you are 🙏🏽🇺🇸🙏🏽
Thank you for a beautiful discussion with Bishop Barron! And thank you Bishop, for making a personal relationship with Jesus so beautifully clear! I love that we have this through THE CHURCH, for so many people, mostly protestants, nowadays say: you don't need a church to get to heaven... very disturbing to me! Where would be receive the sacraments but at Mass?! I thank God for converting me to Catholicism many years back. God bless you both, Bishop Barron and Brandon.🕯🕯🕯
The Eucharist is uniting you and me. We are the members of His church. Keep standing in the gap to be the witness for Christ Jesus. Your friend in Christ.
Bishop Barron, please write about Catholics that work even though they/we have permanent disabilities. Grateful that you plan to write about people with disabilities in the Church. Thank you.
“No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.” John 15:15
Thanks for appearing in my dream once again bishop Barron. It was most definitely a super intimate one. By the dream, it was a father and child type of relationship. Because you are a bishop, I always feel very honored when you appear in my dream. And as once, Jesus has told me to be his friend by calling my name Sabina which came out of the Holy Cross, Jesus has been my friend ever since. According to what St. Therese de lisieux has said, it's because Jesus wants to. I love Jesus! Wish me a luck bishop that I have started to read The Summa Theologica. I find it not easy to read but I am glad that l finally have started and very excited about it. ❤ Sabina
One of my favorite passages of Holy Scripture was Jesus' question to Martha; "Everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” God bless, Bishop 🙏

Romans 2:2-5 But you have a hard and stubborn heart, and so you are making your own punishment even greater on the Day when God's anger and righteous judgement will be revealed 6 For God will reward every person according to what each has done. 10 11 For God judge everyone by the same standards. 1 Peter 4:8 Above everything, love one another earnestly, because love covers over many sins 9 Open to each other without complaining. 10 Each one, as a good manager of God's different gifts, must use for the good of others the special gift he has received from God. 11, 1 Thess 4:6 In this matter, then, no man should do wrong to his fellow-Christian or take advantage of him. We have told you this before, and we strongly warned you that the Lord will punish those who do that. Hebrews 4:12-13 There is nothing that can be hidden from God, everything in all creation is exposed and lies open before his eyes. And it is to him that we must all given an account of ourselves.
I have been listening to Bishop Barron for years and always find his message inspiring, deeply insightful, and clearly explained. This one though was touching, reaching deep inside me, bringing tears at times to my eyes as it revealed that which I lack and desire. And I love how he gives concrete suggestions as well. I have purchased Bishop Sheen's Life of Christ book. Thank you and God Bless You, Bishop Barron, and Brandon.
Ah you hit on it - the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Just as every relationship is unique, our relationship to the Lord for each of us is unique, because it is about the inner life of Love that the Holy Spirit provides for us with Jesus. When He says He will not leave us orphans, the Holy Spirit is His gift to us make 'a personal' relationship possible. That is one reason why the sacrament of Confirmation is so significant ,and how as you say the mystical body of Jesus in the Church opens this mystery for us. Thank you Bishop Barron for the blessings you provide through these talks .
The film I love most of all is a short one called He Knows My Name with Darren Southam and Bruce Newbold and a little girl called Rebecca who just wanted Jesus .... and she got Him personally It is simply beautiful, and resonated with me in ways no other could because I knew that intimacy from about 4 years old. and for the last 78 years it hasn't changed.
Such a wonderful speaker and so knowledgeable and encouraging. Thank you for your guidance and love. A cradle Catholic still learning and growing in the love of GOD 27:2127:21
Bishop I would agree with you that JESUS invites us to a personal relationship with him through HIS mystical body. You have also taught us before that our GOD is THE ONE WHO COMES IN SEARCH OF US NOT THAT WE SEARCH GOD, but we can respond to HIM. IF our GOD IS TRINITY and He will perfect our FAITH IN HIM through the mystical body, because if there is no Communion then there is no relationship.
During the start of "wokism", the Catholic Church was very much on board with it. At least here in the diocese of San Bernardino. I now understand the pain being revealed by some of our parish members but through that time of confusion the Protestant church was very much there for me and my family. I'm asking @bishopbarron to please 🙏 shut down the attacks on the Protestant church coming from these outside institutes. Let's make this about Jesus and move forward together. God Bless.
I like the bishop's answer about guys developing the relationship. The stock "personal relationship with Jesus" ispretty much inconceivable at face value. Without guidance, it would be easier to develop a personal relationship with the answering machine at CVS.
It’s not something only something that you do, it’s also what you become. Not just one among many friends, but the friend through who we can become friends with others. The epic center of our being.
When I got thirsty so thirsty I looked to Jesus to help me. I was in a terrible Super Storm Katrina in August 2005 in MS. To guide and protect me from the storm. All my praying 🙏 saved Mr from that terrible storm. Suddenly the storm became to me like a peaceful song, with all sounds around where I live in the forested area. Praying to Jesus was and crying loving him feeling so ✌️. ❤️ 🎉😊 that's when a relationship started. I would talk to him intimately thanking him worship being grateful that he is with and in me. Our intimate relationship grew up and whenever I go to church after Mass go to the Divotional room and stay with him praying 🙏 talking to him.whenever I go to work I can't 🙏 wait to finish and go to my apt to read my bible and be with him. Being fortunate to have time with him.😊
I'm not scared of evil spirits and all that nonsense as long as I'm with my God am faithful to him. No human being can take my spirit, it belongs to God, Amen.
Bishop barren , I really enjoy your videos , thank you for always being there , I have so many questions about alot of things , mostly about starting over in life and living the Christian faith , it is hard !! But thank you
Wow, your last caller is from Israel. I hope he has pushed trhough with his plans. I wonder how he felt right now that he has moved to another country. What's happening now in Israel must have a big impact on his faith right now. God always has His special way of revealing Himself to each of us. Jesus is God's very perfect revelation of Himself. Just like what Mother Theresa said: Jesus is the solution to all the problems in this world . And what is happening in the world right now, knowing Jesus personally, we can help spread LOVE faster than violence.
So interesting! All the questions you asked were the questions I’ve had in my mind. This was very insightful to me! Thank you and may God bless you ❤️🙏🏻
Not servants, friends. What a gift, His friendship. Perhaps the sacraments can be viewed as quality time with that Friend. The friendship is always there, but it needs to be celebrated, lived, fed, cherished, 'worked at' if you like. The sacraments as the labour of love/friendship. Thanks for an excellent talk, will be sure to use this content in class.
Carmelite spirituality always stresses friendship with Jesus! I became a Catholic by special grace in 1958 at the age pf 24. I am OCDS. I have never found that visual human images of Jesus do much for me….words do and interior prayer, imagining Jesus in me, and other ways I can’t put into words. And the sacraments. Deo gratias. +
Thank you, Brandon, for bringing the bishop back to that foundational Christian belief that Jesus and all who have died physically are in fact not dead but rather alive spiritually for all eternity. I love BB and have learned so much from him, but in his great intellect he sometimes goes immediately to the 30,000-foot answer when a 10-foot answer is more helpful and clarifying. 😉
I agree with your advice to David, Bishop. A healthy church has young pple, the gospel is preached by a minister rightly dividing the Word of truth and holy sacrament is given .
If it’s at all possible that the listener who asked the question about a parish in Nashville sees this response , I’d suggest St. Ann Catholic Church in West Nashville. Sacramental roots, orthodoxed and reverence throughout, along with a humble and warm parish family.
Virtually every Catholic parish offers an RCIA program (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults), which will enable you to be confirmed during the Easter vigil.
It is the Shepherd's job to seek out His lost sheep, not the sheep's job. We must be equipped BY the Shepherd to do His work or it can't get done. There's nothing we have that is not given us, that includes the vision and the abilities to do His bidding. If the church doesn't grow it's because of it's SOURCE holding back on His infinite potential! OVERWHELMING should be His VICTORY over evil!
Huging is quite personal i dont know if i can go that far .He is my teacher a man of great knowledge . I am trying to follow the book i never could have the time to read.
Key difference with the Evangelical side is that we have the sacraments. Having a personal relationship with Jesus does not negate the need to have a Church.
Sometimes I look at Bishop Barron and just want to give him a big hug!!

@@Call_Upon_YAHwe do not worship Mary. That would be the heresy of idolatry condemned an uncountable number of times by the Church. Yes, but more. Reminds me of the passage, "Saul why do you persecute me?". I hear Him in him frequently.

Let's pray for David, who said he's considering converting to Catholicism. God bless and guide him🙏
I encounter Jesus personally in the sacraments, including adoration, but I also know the Trinity lives inside of me and I speak with Him throughout the day as a friend and I know He hears me. Before the Blessed Sacrament is wonderful, but He is with you even now ❤
Your comment is beautiful! I share your thoughts and beliefs. Praise Jesus, Mary and Joseph for this wisdom❤

Agree.. read 33 Days to Morning Glory by Michael E. ❤with our Saviour.. when I am worried so uncertain about my

We come to know Jesus through aligning our suffering with his, of which there can be a profound resonance.
In my case, it has been through surgeries and various cancers. Praise God that He alone gives meaning to suffering!
*"Christianity, it seems to me, is unique in this claim that the ordinary goal is to become God's friend."*

I would want to think that the fire and passion with which Bishop Barron speaks about Jesus which is so often in his preaching, his zeal for the Church the mystical body of Jesus, his feeling for those that have wandered etc are plenty evidence of his own personal relationship with Jesus.

Thank you Bishop Barron and host Brandon for the inspiration, O how do I pray to have a personal relationship with Jesus.
@@Compulsive-Elk7103prayers are also important in the relationship with Jesus Christ
@@kelechukwuanozyk7605 yea I said that...
Appreciate your sermon Bishop Robert Barron. I have been in the Catholic Church for 79 years. There is about a billion Catholics world wide and I can realize why so many people are Catholic because of clergy like you who are inspirational and caring!

I ask the Holy Spirit every day to help me not to be deaf or blind to His orientations.. Surely He is with me always enlightening my day, helping me growing in metanoia.
I will say that bishop Barron was INSTRUMENTAL in my reconversion back to the Catholic faith.. Thank you Bishop.
So glad you're back Bishop. I miss these long form shows with you and Brandon. I could seriously listen to a 30 minute show 5 days a week. It would help me get through my work week. Thanks for all you do.
Bishop said it right the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the joy.
I love to watch and prayer with your Podcast Fr Barron. Thank so much from Australia 🙏🏼♥️💕✝️📿👏💒🕊⭐️⭐️⭐️🌹🌹🌹🌹👏👏🇬🇸🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘
Bishop thank you for explaining the Holy Scriptures so well and clearly may the Lord Jesus bless you and protect you always Amen ❤
Let it be known to all: Through the Holy Spirit, God has put it on me to preach to those lost in the devil's deceit!
Hear me when I say, ye that are Catholic have been deceived and know not God. Ye worship Mary, praying to her; when God tells his to worship none other than him. It is idolatry.
Catholicism has its own Bible and teachings, which are blasphemous to the word of God: the Holy Bible. As ye follow the teachings of man and not God; ye hear the pope, but not Jesus, yet ye claim to be his disciples!
These are but a few things I named ye dwell within; there are many more. I tell you now to repent of your sins, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and you'll receive the gift of the Holy Spirit upon asking the Father!
There are *NO* sub-divisions of Christianity. You're either a disciple of Christ or not. A Christian is someone who follows God's word, not a religion. Who obey the Father and follow his will; not man's nor their own heart's. Unless you keep Jesus' commandments, think not the Holy Spirit will dwell within you!
They who heed this message and did what was stated with an open heart to God...
Read the Holy Bible (KJV) daily and every time before you read, pray to the Father and ask:
"Lord I ask that you give me understanding of your word, that I interpret it the way you want me to, and none of my own. I ask you in Jesus' name, amen."
Revelation 22:8-9 KJV
8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
Acts 2:38 KJV
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Thank you Bishop Robert. I'm always following your teachings/talks to know more about JESUS especially our Catholic Faith. God bless you Bishop. Avé Maria.🙏🕊️
I'm from the Philippines. In Mindanao.
Thank you Bishop Barron. Brandon questions are well thought out. Questions many Catholics ask themselves often . And God bless.
All I can say is, we are all fortunate to be able to listen and absorb the words that Bishop Barron is speaking about, the Scriptures through his powerful and honest interpretation are becoming clearer and lovable, meaningful and absorbed into our senses 👏
“Christianity is unique!” By Bishop Barron, yes, indeed, it has no parallel anywhere because Jesus is the whole Body and Blood of Christianity 🙏
Well, talking about how Jesus looks like, my all time favorite and beloved picture of Jesus is that beautiful Image from the Sacred Heart Fathers Religious Community! Looking at that Image, Jesus eyes follow you in every direction (my family calls the Image as the Eyes of Christ) I always smile when looking up at that big framed picture while I pray because Jesus looks so beautiful, so loving, and so real to me, and, always looking straight at me! ♥️
And then I start crying because I feel so very humbled by His true love ♥️
Always always always grateful for Bishop Barron and Word on Fire ministries 🙏❤️✝️
I’m also grateful for Word on Fire, and Bishops Barron’s deep insight to God’s Word!
!
Observing inspired Art of the Lord is loving way to connect with Jesus.🙏🏻
I love listening to the Word on Fire discussions - Bishop Barron is a voice of reason and inspires me.
Blessings🕊🕊🕊❤️⛪️✝️
Jesus gives spiritual hugs. We are called children of god.
Bishop Barron, please write about Catholics that work even though they/we have permanent disabilities. Grateful that you plan to write about people with disabilities in the Church. Thank you.
Thank you, you can explain so brilliantly, I love listening to you Bishop and you are helping me come closer to Jesus and God!
“No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.”

Thank you fr.Bishop. I'm so grateful to God for filling you with so much wisdom and clarity of thought. God is great!

I need this one
Thanks Bishop 🙏
❤ Sabina
I truly believe everything you said regarding. as a priest and a Bishop. That is so sacred .WE DO SEE THAT ALL.
One of my favorite passages of Holy Scripture was Jesus' question to Martha; "Everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” God bless, Bishop 🙏

@@Call_Upon_YAH Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor. It is a sin.
I’m a great friend of Jesus✝️❤️❤️🙏🏻
The film I love most of all is a short one called He Knows My Name with Darren Southam and Bruce Newbold and a little girl called Rebecca who just wanted Jesus .... and she got Him personally
It is simply beautiful, and resonated with me in ways no other could because I knew that intimacy from about 4 years old. and for the last 78 years it hasn't changed.
I think we Catholics are already in a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus when we receive Him flesh and blood in the Eucharist🙏🏼
Amen 🕊✝️🧚♀️
Bishop you are extremely good at sharing the Faith with us .
Such a wonderful speaker and so knowledgeable and encouraging. Thank you for your guidance and love. A cradle Catholic still learning and growing in the love of GOD 27:21 27:21
Thank you, it was a beautiful and powerful show with Bishop Barron 🙏
This is such a meaningful discussion @ having a relationship/friendship w/the Lord Jesus.
Great insights & questions! God Bless you Word on Fire community!
Thanks for this. Excellent questions! It helped me a lot.
More wonderful insights from Bishop Robert.
As a Nashville native, can't go wrong with Assumption in Germantown. Very reverent and sincere community
Beautiful and wise and very helpful descriptions of how to be closer to Jesus. Thank you, Bishop Barron.
I feel we have heard this conversation on confirmations exactly the same last year :)
Greetings from Holy Russia 🇷🇺
Wow. Listening to this (Bishop Barron) I realize how much more I need to listen.
Good one Father 🙂
Awesome questions, Brandon! Thank you!
God Bless.
i Love you Bishop Barron.
I found this one particularly helpful and interesting. Thank you.
a great show fr baron, i pray the rosary with you every day😇
I daily go to mass online with Fr. Eamon at the church in Magdala. He is filled with the Holy Spirit in his homilies!
Like always bishop Barron injects in us the Energy and Wisdom of Jesus
If you listen. You will hear. 🙏

Thank you Bishop Barron...for sharing your spiritual life.
Become friends with people who are poor or marginalized and your
friendship with Jesus will blossom.
Thank you Bishop Barron and Word on fire team💚
Mr. Bishop Barron, will you be in Portugal for World Youth Day?! I hope so! I hope I see you there 😁
Never get tired of listening to Bishop Barron some voice get on my nerves but Bishops voice is soothing ❤
Many hugs praise God
So interesting! All the questions you asked were the questions I’ve had in my mind. This was very insightful to me! Thank you and may God bless you ❤️🙏🏻
Thank you, Bishop Barron.
A huge thank you. Bless you both and your loved ones. Always uplifted.
Thank you Bishop Barron
Thank you, Brandon, for bringing the bishop back to that foundational Christian belief that Jesus and all who have died physically are in fact not dead but rather alive spiritually for all eternity. I love BB and have learned so much from him, but in his great intellect he sometimes goes immediately to the 30,000-foot answer when a 10-foot answer is more helpful and clarifying. 😉
I really love the Bishop!
Brilliant
Yaaaay 🙏🏾
I agree with your advice to David, Bishop. A healthy church has young pple, the gospel is preached by a minister rightly dividing the Word of truth and holy sacrament is given .
Metanoia as well as creation is an ongoing process. Everything is grace.
Love it!
If it’s at all possible that the listener who asked the question about a parish in Nashville sees this response , I’d suggest St. Ann Catholic Church in West Nashville. Sacramental roots, orthodoxed and reverence throughout, along with a humble and warm parish family.
Bishop because of you I want to be confirmed. I am 37. How do I do it?
❤ good for you!!!
That’s so wonderful! You will be so glad!! Welcome!
Virtually every Catholic parish offers an RCIA program (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults), which will enable you to be confirmed during the Easter vigil.
Reach out to your parish priest. And God bless you!
