Apparently the day I finished making this video, another TH-camr named T0M also posted a video about this song, so this isn't the only one after all. You can find that video here: th-cam.com/video/YqvI4-iGR-k/w-d-xo.html&pp=ygUOdDBtIGknbSBhIHN0YXI%3D
Funnily enough the same day this was posted, Jonah Who uploaded him reacting to and fixing Im A Star very funny coincidence its WILD th-cam.com/video/CAAPYlsZk78/w-d-xo.html
The only message I get from this song is "you are made of stardust, so you can make your own dreams/wishes come true" which is undermined by Star making all of the animals talk, therefore showcasing powers that none of the animal or human characters possess. Also, Asha is granted a wand at the end so that she can grant other's wishes. That "magic" is from a third-party source. Why not use the basic ambition to create provided by her "star power?"
Exactly. I’m pretty sure the film’s intended message is, “Make your own dreams come true instead of wishing for someone else to do it for you,” so the analogy that you yourself are your own wishing star works, but the execution is just awful.
Exactly, that's supposed to be the final message, but just think about it, if we are all stars and therefore we can fulfill our dreams/desires, then why can't Star, a true star, fulfill wishes? If I think about it, the message becomes more discouraging to me and it all comes down to "just keep wishing"
Also. The lines about art and origin stories... That could work if they were characters, like in universe created by Asha but made real by Star. Because, we know she's an artist. Something that is NEVER used through the whole movie.
Once I’ve heard those lyrics, I looked around in the theater making sure I’m not the only one who felt cringe and embarrassing. (Most likely embarrassing.) I was so close to leave the theatre immediately. No joke.
I hate this song tbh. And it's for the reasons you pointed out. It doesn't answer the one question it asks itself, it just keeps repeating pointless metaphors over and over. And out of all the songs in the movie, it feels like it doesn't do anything for it at all. At least the other songs are relevant to the plot, even if they're not all great. But this song was just shoehorned in for the sake of giving the cute animals something to sing. Plus the tone of the song doesn't match anything else from the movie. It just sounds like a generic bad pop song. Definitely the worst song from the movie, and one of the worst Disney songs imo.
The thing is the song is really relevant to the plot to the point that I would argue ruins the end of the movie. At the end when Magnifico captures Star, Asha looks up as if she was going to make another wish, Magnifico blocks the sky and she looks down and sees the people, and makes the wish upon them because everyone is star, and that works. There are other problems of course, like the fact that Star doesn't do much so we have no idea why making another wish would stop Magnifico, but this is suppose the song that explains the themes and it's so confusing that it makes the entire story confusing.
Seeing how "This Wish" was written before the script and Julia said they had about one storyboard to go off of, I think all these songs are just VERY rough drafts.
@@mariatorres-by6duthat explains it a little because when I heard the lyrics I thought what does a holistic theory about the origin of the universe have to do with wish and wishing. It still doesn’t help because the movie fails to explain if Asha is wishing on all the stars (which corroborates with the ending) or just that one star plushie (which breaks it.)
‘Here I are’ is so frustrating, like you said, we can easily fixed this by changing the word ‘I’ to ‘We.’ And another idea is where the deer did say that, only to be quickly corrected by another (wise) animal. After all, it used to be a deer who can never talk in human speech, and possibly aren’t as literate as the human themselves
You know, I had a thought; I wonder how much more effective the song would have been if it had been sung to Magnifico. Like, the scene could play out where he's stressed out and scared, and he's in the woods, trying to find out what the light was, and the animals sing to him. But in his case, it would be a reveal moment, where he finds out what star magic is, and that it's nothing to be scared of or threatened by, since "he's a star" too and has had the stardust inside him the whole time. Maybe the song helps reveal that the star magic is what caused his "own origin story" because it's what helped him learn to create his own magic. The song could serve as a gentle reality check; sometimes things you don't understand aren't always something to fear, and sometimes the answers to life's biggest mysteries are closer than you think and aren't always found in a book.
Despite the fact I HATE how boring this song is I would watch that scene. With the way the song is though, Magnifico would nope out more confused than before, the animals drive him insane and then almost kill him as he tries to get away, and he burns the woods for revenge.
Recently subscribed. Great video. I kept thinking this song was playing off of the idea that "We are all formed from the dust of collapsed stars" and somehow that's supposed to make everyone special. Others have mentioned this of course. It certainly isn't the worst idea for a disney song, but it sounds like they put the prompt into an AI program and lost the essence of what they were going for.
It's wild because I'm sure there are so many artists that would actually love to work for Disney, and Disney has the money to hire a really good songwriters (and writers for the movie in general)
Every time I hear this song, all I can think about is how the musical Finding Neverland was able to write a song about the whole "we're all connected and full of potential because we are all made of stardust" concept and also make it really cute and charming TEN YEARS AGO. They got lapped by a song from a DECADE ago. We're All Made of Stars did this and did it better in 2014.
It feels like they read all of the books on how to write in a modern, irreverent, Joss Whedon style and applied everything at once without really understanding why it works. So much of these lyrics feel like something they looked at in isolation to make it sound as relatable as possible but then didn't look at how forced and artificial it all reads in sequence.
Masterpiece: You’re a loser baby A loser goddamn baby You’re a f**led up little whiney bitch You’re a loser just like me Crap: Ooh, I'm a star! Watch out world here I are! You know who's lookin' sharp? Me, I'm a star!
Honestly, the only song from Wish that I remember liking is At All Costs (also Knowing What I Know Now, but I wouldn’t listen to it actively). The thing about it that sucks is that it’s SUPPOSED to be the Disney love interest song, and since the movie didn’t have a love interest, it’s weird to think about it being between Magnifico and Asha. Honestly I’m glad it wasn’t an advertised song like This Is The Thanks I Get, but it probably would’ve fit better with the original idea where the star was Asha’s love interest(?) or between Magnifico and the king.
I think why I hate this song more than any other song in the movie (which are also bad), is because this song is meant to make audiences think bak to the classics of Walt Disney himself. It features talking animals, namely a turtle, squirrels, quails, rabbits, deer, and raccoons. Animals which featured heavily in Disney's early works like Snow White and Bambi. The Bear, Little Jon, is the only exception, but his name is meant to be a reference to Robin Hood. Just like how the idiot deer who says "here I are" is named Bambi. Then there are the talking trees and mushrooms. The short Flowers and Trees was the first Disney short to use technicolor, and the mushrooms are a reference to the dancing mushrooms in Fantasia. In short, the visuals of this song is designed to make you think of all the amazing things Walt and his legendary animators accomplished in the 1930s and 1940s... and yet they squander that legacy with their cheep imitation. If you want us to think back to the gorgeous landscapes and colours of Bambi, why make Wish's Bambi an idiot? If you want us to remember the mushrooms of Fantasia, why make these ones linked to such a confusing line like "But if you just see the mushrooms then you'll understand"? As an admirer of Walt Disney and everything he did for the animation industry, this song infuriates me to no end because it uses Walt's legacy, and the legacy of amazing aniamtors like Bill Tytla, Eric Larson, and Tyrus Wong, to pull at nostialgia baiting and distract from how shiitty their product is. People are going to always remember Snow White, Fantasia, and Bambi for their artistic beauty and strong emotional core. Wish, meanwhile, is going to be laughed at and mocked for the souless corporate product that it is.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: this should've been a soaring, empowering ballad. Just switch it so it comes after TITTIG so there's not two ballads in a row.
8:23 That's a problem I have with most fantasy stories where wishing on stars works. (They tend to be aimed at kids.) How come the bad guys never wish on the stars?
The fact that someone in the department penned the word "shareholders" as part of the lyrics of the song just makes me cringe to an uncomfortable degree and further makes me lose hope
8:35, in the sixth Harry Potter book, the Prime Minister of England questions why the wizards of witches worry about being threatened despite having magic and he’s told that it’s because the other side has magic as well.
Similar to what you said about the thematic issues, my problem is not only that it just raises dumb questions and doesn’t answer them, or that it’s just metaphor after metaphor. It’s also that half of this song including the chorus seems very focussed on identity; on saying “you’re a star, I’m a star, we’re all connected”. Despite all the awful grammar and lyrics, the actual themes presented could’ve worked somewhat (albeit a bit on-the-nose) if the previous scenes were about Asha not understanding who she was, or not feeling good in her own body. But - from what I interpreted of it - Wish doesn’t set out to explore themes of identity and self-esteem/dysphoria. That’s just not what the message of the film is. It feels like all the songs and, well, all the scenes, were each made by separate individuals and mashed together at the end, there’s no cohesion to it. I’m so sick of Disney churning out mediocre (at best) films. There’s no excuse for it.
Of COURSE it's in 4/4, the most common time signature because it's easy to sing. Of COURSE it's in C major, the easiest, (IMHO most overused) and (IMHO)most boring key, and transitions a half step up because it's easy. Of COURSE it's aggressively diatonic (only uses the white keys on the piano, strictly in the key signature.). Of COURSE it's in your awkward speed zone where it's too slow to be fun but also too fast to be reflective. Of COURSE the only complicated thing about it is the lyrics. Of COURSE it's a pop song with minimal instrumentation. that stays the same through the whole song. Of COURSE the lyrics will be good when, and only when, I can and want to go skiing in Hell. Disney clearly did not expect their musicians to give a flying pirate's booty about this song, in fact I doubt the songwriters gave a flying pirate's booty about this song, so they made it as easy as possible to just get over with.
All white keys? I did that when I was 10. And I started piano with 10😒 Considering Disney has a princess set in the 20s where jazz was THE thing, using only white keys for a 100 year anniversary is sad.
Oh. I actually really enjoyed the song and the music and rhythm. Some of the VA's voices sounded so amazing. I really enjoyed the owl's line, it was just nice. I also did like the message. Personally as someone who's always felt inadequate, worthless, and just meaningless, the point of that you are a star regardless just warms me up. I know the movie has its faults (like the storyline and animation, I definitely agree with that) but I thought some of the songs were really nice. I have 4 of them (including the end credits song) on my personal playlist. Maybe I need to relook if these songs aren't as good as I thought....
There’s nothing wrong with liking this song just because other people don’t. I know that feeling well. Don’t feel ashamed because it resonates with you. I’m criticizing it from an objective standpoint, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have value in some people’s hearts. And I’m sorry you have felt that way. As a Christian, I believe that Jesus loves everyone, and that every person is God’s unique creation. God bless you.
I can agree. I actually think that Wish's songs are all have good melodies and sounds good, the singers voice are beautiful, they are realy talented. I would humm it when i can. It's the LYRICS that is the problem. It's just doesn't makes sense! Like, i am not a native english speaker, but i can understand songs such as Colors Of The Wind, A Whole New World, Reflection, etc. They have literal meaning and metaphors in it, but the lyrics still sounds able to sing and understand. Wish in the other hand, the more i listen to them, the more i feel like i will not be able to sing it. I even confused what actually they want to say in each of the lyrics. It's feels the writers only put bunch of unusual words to make it sounds creative and artistic yet relatable, but it ended up didn't make any sense and failed to another level.
Having, say, a newly-hatched chick say the “here I are” line would also make sense because “Here I am!” (or are) implies that you’re newly arrived, so the implication is that the singer just arrived in the world.
"When it comes to the universe, we're all shareholders" doesn't make much sense, but the real crime to songwriting and poetry is what they say directly after that.
Ok, I GENUINELY am starting to believe the Chatgpt allegations. What the fuck is this song? What logically thinking professional songwriter would spit out this mush of confused sentences?
Fr like I'm not even a musician (like, AT ALL) and I'm pretty sure even I could come up with better lyrics than whatever garbage they decided to throw into this song 😐
@@maravreloaded Maybe, but I've already had to jump through hoops to post my other videos, and I only used short clips for those. Since I had to use most of the song for this one, I decided not to take any chances.
"watch out world here i are" has two implications: a) the animal singing this hasnt been around english too long to know grammar b) the writers threw away their knowlegde on grammar to make a rhyme and considering every other animal doesnt make a grammatical error, im leaning to b
Apparently, the songwriters or whoever was in charge didn’t have time to work on it and find a clever way so the audience wouldn’t catch that error. It’s kinda a bit too late, Disney.
no one ever talks about how stupid the line "get that through your system! SOLAR!" is. why the solar? 😭 i get they want a star theme here, but it doesn't fit in the line at all
I think it’s making a pun with the phrase “get that through your system” and the term “solar system” (for another star reference), but instead of the more logical “get that through your solar system,” the switch the word order to force it to rhyme-which is a lazy technique they use throughout this song.
Fun fact: the songs from Wish do make sense in spanish (the Latin American dub changed the dumb, contradictory and/or strange lyrics). Maybe in other dubs too.
In your scars is your pain. I took that from Sagat, in SF2 and so on. The idea of bringing up the negative from the past. You ARE your scars, you are IN your scars, as such.
Meaning??? :) Asked with a question mark, obviously... :) meaning that this is ultimately a flattering song to draw in the target crowds which is 0-6 year olds, toddlers. The whole movie pertains to the fact that there aren't any recent attempts at that audience and I wanted to do some research. It's just a better movie for toddlers. So you are a star is kinda like "Precious" was trying to be positive to that kinda movie lead type. Filling toddlers with positivity about themselves and their future. Like most movies, without being too serious, as life kinda makes you be. Moana is very action I wanted this movie to be just about the emotion of not living up to expectations. The promise that is NEVER to be. Hey, I decide, I'm your parent. This is my house, my rules, and shut up. The antagonist is the parent that lets you live there for free as all children get to. They even called it the mother anthem at release. Another song was "wedding song", sure. This is the support protagonist's song. The REASON "star" joined the show. To make animals sing and so on. To give hope as if something joined the "fight" for a brighter future, against bigotry and panic. Your parents panic, so you need to show them that they shouldn't use that to justify their living conditions. Basically some parents are NOT HELP, and just ruin your ambitions for contribution to the world. Cause their perceived markets, cause not economics education. But basically, being "good" means owning up to that very meaning and not freaking out that stars can "fly" for example. And you can't let people fly cause they wished for that, that's absurd. Even you can't fly, why would you let them fly, if able? Careful where you waste your wish, fly gal.
You a star? Like you gonna sing your heart out or submit to the rule of the king who traps stars for more control over star power, like how your parents don't want you watching something and you are like but I like Eminem, mom lol :)
WE, ARE ALL OUR ORIGIN, ok? STORY, you aha b, what the f? This NEEDS TO SINK THE F IN, you the story teller of your life, not some "king" not your parents, not your mother, and not your siblings, YOU! You gotta narrate YOURSELF into DOING like a VOODOO doll, will you, as much self control that you can to accomplish the feel good self reward task that you set for yourself, or change the talk. What isn't sinking in? That you are your ORIGIN story, like you can give your kids their origin story, did you sink that in? You are a star, cause ultimately, if you were the writer of this movie and you wanted to put a message out to your toddler children, ... you'd want them to think they were stars, both in the social sense of you are a big deal socially, as well as you just some elemental compound allowed by the current temperature of the planet due to the distance from the sun. Or the Star, our Sun, that gives us life and feeds the leaves that feed us. We eat the leaves and they eat the sun out your tummy? Really is your ? question mark thing you don't wanna, why fight? You really need to learn to give up.. Strike a bell?
Yes, yea, yes you CAN bring yourself into existence, and here is why. Because if you DO nothing about your actual talent, innate! talent, it's just gonna stay somewhere down there and you will not be spending time on it. You are NOTHING but bringing into existence whatever faith in yourself you have, and ALL your FEARS are obvious, you female social challenged outcast, if I may. Your fear of truth where nobody is telling you that leaves eat sun out of stomachs so YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO ASK. Whoever allowed you to think in such pointless accusations needs to take a bow for creating the most useless part of themselves, insults to your makers, child enormous.
An Artist! is born a BABY!! an artist! follows their heart! An artist does not have to explain why they do art while others do TH-cam videos not understanding the point an ARTIST is trying to make through art. OK? I don't understand the problem you are having with it. If you wanna do art, don't wait for people telling you what you can and cannot do, don't let their decision be the deciding factor and most of mf all, practice whatever life you wanna live like an amateur so much, mf professionals can't stand how much some amateur can't get a deal. Maybe. v
I'm pretty sure I've heard "question mark" used that way before. Like, as a term for a missing or unresolved detail in a greater plan. I think it's meant to be, like, you're writing something down, and you write a question mark in place of something you need to know but don't yet.
Isso e tipo uma versão que tenta ser um pouco melhor do meme do "voce acha facil fabricar papel" no Brasil, que só sao palavras que rimam e nao fazem sentido algum em contexto
80% of the song is filler for what can essentially be summed up as _"we're made of stardust"_ the rest is cringe verses trying to sound cool or clever. In short, talk a lot but say nothing.
This song doesn’t just demonstrate the downfall of Disney but the entertainment industry as a whole. It feels like after the previous generation of creators who gave us masterpieces like The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast retired a bunch of illiterate college kids with overinflated egos took over who don’t even try to mask their illiteracy.
Someone else mentioned this in another video I watched that Julia Cavazos? (corrrct me if I got the wrong person) doesn't know how to properly write metaphors. This is why the song feels clunky and poorly written despite the other songs she wrote.
I am not defending this song per say, it's not good, but I get what it wanted to say. All humans and most of everything on Earth, including Earth itself, is made of star dust. Which is true. Basically, out of all the elements, only hydrogen and some helium was created during the Big Bang. All the other elements are made either in the cores of dying heavy stars, or in supernovae (and other, crazier events). Ancient stars in the past go supernova and leave behind clouds of dust. Which eventually gather together and form a new star and planets around it. But it's really weird to use this fact as a metaphor in a Disney animated movie... and not even explain it properly.
@@godrules311 a nursery within a nebula could makes sense if you’re breaking it down into regions. And if I’m. Not mistaken the space gas is what forms a star

Not to get controversial, but this song kinda sounds like an atheist trying to explain the miracle of life. Endless circular reasoning and meaningless metaphors. Creation without a creator. No real answers.
You’re saying that scientific fact is just circular reasoning and meaningless metaphors 😭. Believe what you want, I believe in religious freedom, but this dig wasn’t necessary. Just say you don’t understand the science, honey, that’s okay.

I did that to avoid any copyright issues. I've already had to jump through hoops to get my previous videos published, and they only used short clips and not the whole song. If you watch Brainless Mastermind's video on Wish, she had to do the same thing.
@@mainacc7624At 7:28 I mentioned that a work of art implies an artist because art doesn’t make itself. Similarly the idea that the universe brought itself into existence is equally absurd.
They never explained why flowers in the wind are eloquent dancers 😔
Every time I hear this song, all I can think about is how the musical Finding Neverland was able to write a song about the whole "we're all connected and full of potential because we are all made of stardust" concept and also make it really cute and charming TEN YEARS AGO. They got lapped by a song from a DECADE ago. We're All Made of Stars did this and did it better in 2014.
Nothing epitomizes the half-assery of this film like Michaels not knowing the difference between elegant and eloquent and Disney not even catching it
We all make mistakes, but yeah, them not fixing it bites. Maybe they thought people would regard it as “clever” 🙄
Some people theorize that whoever wrote this thought eloquent was just a fancier word for elegant or didn't want to use elegant for some reason
@@moonliteeveemy thoughts exactly. It’s even weirder when the animals say “shareholders”. That’s even worse.
The virgin I’m a Star vs the chad Loser Baby
OMG YES
How did you just read my mind 😧
Exactly
Masterpiece: You’re a loser baby
A loser goddamn baby
You’re a f**led up little whiney bitch
You’re a loser just like me
Crap: Ooh, I'm a star!
IT WONT LET ME EDIT BUT I MEAN THE QUEEN
Well, hopefully Pinkiemachine can fix it in her remake 😁
Maybe the stars only grant good people’s wishes? 🤷♀️
“Taking the “y”s out of mystery” reminds me of “I put the ‘I’ in omnipotent”
The fact that someone in the department penned the word "shareholders" as part of the lyrics of the song just makes me cringe to an uncomfortable degree and further makes me lose hope
1:22 I love the way you made your line fit perfectly over the owl.
And it wasn’t even intentional 🤣
@@godrules311 HA HA! That's amazing! It's so brilliant when things like this happen. 😂 Thanks for the great video as well.
7:14 that's a based move, death note +rep
this song means literally nothing. It is gibberish without order
How did we go from “Tale as Old as Time,” and “Paint with All the Colors of the Wind,” to “When it comes to the universe we’re all shareholders?” 🙄
The end credits song imo is the best one. Theres this deleted scene where Saba Sabino sings it and it’s so good
Forget the lyrics themselves. The animation for the lyric video is giving me a migrane.
Having, say, a newly-hatched chick say the “here I are” line would also make sense because “Here I am!” (or are) implies that you’re newly arrived, so the implication is that the singer just arrived in the world.
This song is so bad I almost think AI wrote the words. Thank you so much for ripping it to shreds.
Frankly I think AI could do better.
@@godrules311 Probably true now that you mention it.
1:24 Was this voice synchronization intentional?
Voice synchronization?
I just realized what you meant. Nope, it wasn't 😂
Lol that's hilarious, even if it's an accident
Love the inclusion of the Death Note clip. Lol 😂
I’m coming out with some AMVs soon…
"When it comes to the universe, we're all shareholders" doesn't make much sense, but the real crime to songwriting and poetry is what they say directly after that.
Ok, I GENUINELY am starting to believe the Chatgpt allegations. What the fuck is this song? What logically thinking professional songwriter would spit out this mush of confused sentences?
Fr like I'm not even a musician (like, AT ALL) and I'm pretty sure even I could come up with better lyrics than whatever garbage they decided to throw into this song 😐
God does rule. :)
Is it bad I didn't expect this comment to have likes? ( . .)
That's so cool guys~
Oh God.
Look I like nightcore and I like Splatoon music, but there's A POINT a LIMIT where high voices become just INFURIATING.
Sorry. I heightened the pitch to avoid copyright issues. It’s not actually this high.
Yeah I know. But, doesn't fair use apply?
@@maravreloaded Maybe, but I've already had to jump through hoops to post my other videos, and I only used short clips for those. Since I had to use most of the song for this one, I decided not to take any chances.
The song is secretly from Cocomelon
I’ve never seen Cocomelon, but surely it’s not this nonsensical?
"watch out world here i are" has two implications:
a) the animal singing this hasnt been around english too long to know grammar
b) the writers threw away their knowlegde on grammar to make a rhyme
and considering every other animal doesnt make a grammatical error, im leaning to b
Okay...but isn't Valentino already instantly fluent? And he seems much younger than that deer.
WHY DID THEY SAY HERE I ARE THEY LITERALLY COULD HAVE SAID HERE WE ARE
Apparently, the songwriters or whoever was in charge didn’t have time to work on it and find a clever way so the audience wouldn’t catch that error. It’s kinda a bit too late, Disney.
Eloquent can also mean vividly expressive or revealing
True. I still say “elegant” would sound more natural, though.
no one ever talks about how stupid the line "get that through your system! SOLAR!" is. why the solar? 😭 i get they want a star theme here, but it doesn't fit in the line at all
It’s basically being used as an interjection, but it just sounds weird.
Well, it's nice to know it made sense somewhere. Maybe I should listen to the Spanish version sometime.
This song is also scientifically incorrect because stars are plasma, not gas.
True, but at that point we would have to criticize the Lion King too.
As I said, you could argue it’s poetic license. It just sounds kind of weird.
Have you seen Jonah Who Two's video trying to rewrite this song? You both make similar (albeit obvious) points

I had to agree with you
Watch out world here i are
Isso e tipo uma versão que tenta ser um pouco melhor do meme do "voce acha facil fabricar papel" no Brasil, que só sao palavras que rimam e nao fazem sentido algum em contexto
80% of the song is filler for what can essentially be summed up as _"we're made of stardust"_ the rest is cringe verses trying to sound cool or clever.
In short, talk a lot but say nothing.
Thank you!!!
This song doesn’t just demonstrate the downfall of Disney but the entertainment industry as a whole. It feels like after the previous generation of creators who gave us masterpieces like The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast retired a bunch of illiterate college kids with overinflated egos took over who don’t even try to mask their illiteracy.
this screems AI
This "song" annoyed me.
Someone else mentioned this in another video I watched that Julia Cavazos? (corrrct me if I got the wrong person) doesn't know how to properly write metaphors. This is why the song feels clunky and poorly written despite the other songs she wrote.
It's Julia Michaels. And to be fair, Disney gave her barely any time and almost no story context.
Wow❤
This song would only sound okay if you don't know English
Tbh the singers were killing it though LOL
We have a big question:
Who wrote these garbage lirycs?
Well, technically Julia Michaels did, but Disney really shafted her be giving her little time and hardly any story context.
3:57 huh?
Yeah, it’s really confusing. We’re nebulae in a nursery, but we’re also stars, and nebulae are “star nurseries,” so we’re nurseries in a nursery 😵💫
@@godrules311 a nursery within a nebula could makes sense if you’re breaking it down into regions. And if I’m. Not mistaken the space gas is what forms a star
@@mattybrunolucaszeneresalas9072 Perhaps. Still seems a bizarre way of phrasing it in a Disney song, though.
@@godrules311 Absolutely no doubt about that. Lemme tell you that end scene with When You Wish Upon A Star started playing I actually bawled *_not because it was good_* because it was Disney’s centennial and they wasted it! Next thing you’ll want are those independent storytellers on TH-cam! Ha! Hand drawn animation? Ugh! So labourious and expensive.”
Like do they NOT know how returns work? They could totally get dough back!
I see the issue in trying to sift through thousands if not millions or résumés, but I think people should be submitting detailed pitches with them if they haven’t already because my god Disney needs some flavour and originality. STAT!
@@mattybrunolucaszeneresalas9072 Thing is, the original pitch for Wish WAS good: Starboy, the king and queen as a villain couple, etc. In fact, there’s a TH-camr named Pinkiemachine Studios that is rewriting Wish into a full-length 2D animated film based on the concept art book. You should check it out 🙂

Its so awful how much this song hypes itself up. Like its trying so hard to be catchy, appeal to children and also copy a bunch of other disney songs, but it just falls short in everything. The lyrics are incorrect, the melody sounds god awful and everything else about it just sucks. Zero redeeming qualities
