Nice big rooms! Love the porch! Spacious! The negatives....needs quite a bit of work: floors, ceilings, etc! Property taxes? Possibly needs about $100,000 to fix it up....
Too bad it's in Illinois.

Check Zillow in Rock Island and there's another Victorian for $30,000. Just a bit smaller but probably in better condition (it has a new roof)!
if that Home was here in Portland,OR it would be a Million Dollar home easy prices of homes here is insanity. small 2 brm home w/tiny yard 300k i'm ready to relocate for sure

Really too bad that they trashed this house, I’m sure it had a quaint little kitchen with a butlers pantry, but someone decided to open floor plan it and clearly ran out of money. Now someone else has to come along and try to figure out what on earth the previous owners were thinking. I love old Victorian homes but I love them in their original condition, with their original fixtures, someone spent about $250 on all the Home Depot light fixtures.
Plus this is a terrible video that is trying to highlight all the positives that are not really there. I would have preferred a straight walk through to see what were really working with. With a $300k budget I could get that place pretty put back together but then it’s Illinois and I don’t know that I’d like that better than my home in Texas.

I bought an 1880 6 bedroom in better condition for $94k one state over and my shingles weren't being held down with hose clamps

Sport acces hospital and supermarket ect ...bedroom ...bathroom where is location front door where is location back door/side door after that wait until 5 year not 7 year
It's unfortunate this beauty has been trashed with a hodge podge of different non-period pieces.
