We just got one of these and it's fantastic, a bit challenging for someone who is visually impaired or blind because the keys do not beep when pressed and the unit remains on the last used function requiring you to make a note of what you used last. On the plus side, it has actual buttons versus touch pads so no tactile marking needed and food comes out great. Our third Ninja product so far.

I agree about the addition of a back-lit panel being a HUGE benefit, having vision problems myself. Personally, I enjoy that it is set to stay at the last used function, since I use it most- but we are all different! ❤

@NinjaKitchenUS according to the measurements when sitting the Ninja on my counter part of it will extend under my cabinets that are above. Is there stem that will come out that may affect my above cabinets?
here goes first time user, thighs on the top rack. And potatoes on the bottom with lemon and a little bit of oil on both. I put it on steam and crisp. I'm hoping I'm doing this right thank you for your help I don't see any recipes for what I'm cooking right now so kind of hesitant

@@skyr1447 Skyr, I found QVC or Sam's Club had the best deal when I bought mine. I ended up going with QVC, both were the same price ($160) but QVC threw in an extra cake pan. I think you'll like it, I've had fun so far.
One very bad thing about ninja speedi. It works beautifully but before you buy it, Please note that you cannot get spares for it readily in Asia, I simply cannot it and the spares I found over internet from Amazon does not ship to Asia.

Thanks for reaching out! The Combi Pan is made of aluminum with a nonstick nano ceramic coating that is FDA-approved and food safe. This coating is also PTFE and PFOA-free.
Could you give me dimensions including the lid/hinge please? I’m not sure if the official spec dimensions include these.

Am I right in thinking that the only options we are missing in the ninja speedi when compared with the foodi all in one are stews and soups? Also can we proper bake and prepare deserts in the ninja speedi? Many thanks
Hi there! Great questions! The Speedi does not have a Pressure setting like the Foodi does, however you are still able to make soups and stews using the Sear/Saute (Stovetop) or Slow Cook settings! You can bake desserts using either the Steam & Bake, or Bake/Roast settings!

Hi, y33b01. The steam function is activated by adding water to the bottom of the pot. Place the crisper tray in the bottom position and add the ingredients. Move SmartSwitch to Rapid Cooker, then use the center front arrows to select STEAM.
No pressure cooking?
Hi! The Ninja Speedi does not have a pressure-cook function, since the product has a new feature to rapidly cook instead of pressure-cook!

My current Foodi just tipped and fell off off the counter. Pro-tip invest in a 3rd party, extended warranty. The manufacturer's extended warranty (obviously) doesn't cover humans messing things up.
That said: i needed a smaller unit, so this Looks a like a great replacement option.

I already picked up my new Speedi (and got the extended accident warranty!!) And.... my giant Foodi actually still works- not sure if it will pressure cook yet, but the crock pot/ rice cooker/ broiler, etc. works just fine! I'm going to see if someone wants it.
