I bought a used Aeron. I love the chair, but I do regret getting such an old chair. More and more pieces are breaking on it. I should have done a better job vetting the chair, but it worked perfectly for a few months. If anyone is doing the same, make sure to watch the buying a used Aeron video to make sure you get the 2005+ model with arm rests that actually work.
My body got messed up by a crooked bed and I need to get a chair asap. I’m settled on the embody or gaming embody. The gaming embody is like $500 cheaper than regular embody. Would you reccomend to get the gaming embody? Thanks
Yes! It has more padding. The only thing that’s different is the lumbar feels slightly different, and color of course. If you decide to pick up, please consider using my link. It costs you nothing, so won’t take away from your reefer money, Snoop, but helps the channel a lot! ;)
@Ahnestly, I appreciate you sharing your thoughts, G. I used your link to make the purchase. The chair was delivered today, and it's super comfortable! Keep up the great content! Much love, and stay lifted! 🌿✌
*GOOD NEWS:* Ergotune now ships their Supreme chair to the United States! Should I consider it over a used Mirra/Mirra 2 or as a worthy upgrade to my Herman Miller Setu?
i got refurbished logich embody for £750 gpb and it is perfect. Not a mark on it and all the adjustments etc work flawless and it is also the most comfortable chair i ever used.
If you are pretty light, its a pretty good chair. The seat is atrocious though, unless obviously, if you are really light. But in that case even sitting on a rock is good enough :D
As an FYI to some people ou there... As a very tall, heavyweight user, I think it's important to note that the "metal" aeron is aluminum. While it is my favorite chair that i've used for over a decade, I've also accidentally figured out how to destroy 3 of them, mostly related to that word aluminum and it's traits. I can now make an aeron last forever by avoiding certain movements, but I can snap the frame at will on the first try if I wanted to... pushing up off of the arms to lift myself up out of the chair, or twisting around behind me to grab something instead of swiveling. I'm 300lb+.
Also, getting tilt lock is important, because that spring stands no chance of supporting my weight. Additionally, certain locked tilt positions will result in someone my size bottoming out that mesh seat on the plastic hub underneath.
Why are you 300 lbs? That’s crazy dude, lose some weight, not healthy. Stop sitting, get out and walk. People who weigh 300+ die younger than smokers. I hope you drop some lbs and live longer bro.
Have u tested anda seat phantom 3 yet? It is a budget Anda seat chair but it sells well in my country and I'm thinking it as an alternative of the kaiser 3 so i don't spend 500 bucks.
One look at it and I wouldn't recommend for that price. Main reason is because I see the back tilt tension under the seat (see the comment I made about the Kaiser 3's back tilt tension knob in this video). For a $360 chair, plenty have it in a much more convenient place.
@@freedonx For me, the embody is only comfortable if I start my day sitting in it. After I get home from work during the week and want to relax, that's when it's just not comfortable on my back. The seat gives me no pain but I will say it's annoyingly creaky (mainly when you extent it out). The backfit adjustment I have to leave on the lowest setting or else it pushes my shoulder blades and causes pain. Overall, for me, I don't think it's worth the money even after getting it 20% off. I'm 6' 155. Hope this helps.
Your reasoning for your preference for "Asian" tilt lock over "American" tilt limiter doesn't quite make sense. You claim to prefer to keep tilt unlocked with high tilt tension while tasking upright. So when you want to lean back into a locked full recline.... you can't, because the high tilt tension will stop you. Tilt limiter is superior to tilt lock if you use it as intended: 1. Keep the tilt tension just low enough to recline, but still high enough to provide some support when you sit back upright 2. Engage the tilt limiter when you want to remain more upright. Tilt limiter promotes healthy movement by allowing seamless transition between upright and (partial and full) reclined positions; with a tilt lock, you have to unlock and relock the tilt every time you want to switch positions.
I had a high end gaming chair and will never buy one again. This guy's short, so it doesn't affect him, but for a tall guy like me the way the shoulder wings curve in is really uncomfortable. It forced my shoulders forward and put a curve in my back.
Better to look like a piece of crap than to actually be a piece of crap 😂 None of these chairs have 0 adjustments. Not sure what video you’re watching. If a video is sponsored, it’s required by law to explicitly say so.
Can you stop ignoring retailer prices? You can buy any herman miller chair for roughly 2/3rds of the msrp from a authorized dealer with the 12 year warrenty.
If you buy from a dealer, you’re subject to that specific dealer’s customer service, not the online website/HQ customer service. I can’t vouch for the local dealers’ customer service unfortunately. I’ve read some horror stories of local dealers, and even my local dealer hasn’t been the best to work with :-/
@@Ahnestly Any guarantee service is handled by herman miller. You can call their hotline give the serial number and they will handle it. Even when the dealer is not around anymore herman miller is obligated to keep the warrenty. No need to ever talk to the dealer again after the purchase.
Not sure if I believe this? I had a friend like a year ago buy an eames. Saved a ton of money, but no warranty, they said she would have to deliver the chair herself for returns, etc etc etc.

Can someone please manufacture a Frankenchair called the AmiRonGestErnBody?
- Amia seat
- Embody seat depth adjustment
- Fern back
- Gesture arms
- Aeron tilt
- Aeron Classic build quality
This.
Amia would have been sweet if only it had a headrest 😭
Looks like this Vantum has nothing for her except the HM name :( thanks for your advices !

You like it?
@@tepidlost I went with the HM Gaming Embody with an Atlas headrest.

You should at some point take a look at malmstolen 4000, might blow your mind!
