What an amazing game Psychonauts 2 was. Truly a wonderful experience.
Psychonauts 2 is damn near the idea of a perfect videogame, it's fun, challenging, and beautiful, emotionally and aesthetically. Everything from the soundtrack to the voice-acting is just full of passion and love, kind of a trend with Double Fine games.
Double fine will be one of Microsofts’ top studios. Got a hunch

This was my 2021 game of the year. It had so much heart put into it. Thank you Tim and the entire Double Fine production team for this most earnestly crafted experience.
Tim Schafer is awesome. DarksydePhil has massive respect for this guy after his Psychonauts 2 playthrough. If a dev can turn a hater into a supportive fan, that’s quite impressive.

Psychonauts was always my absolute favorite video game and the sequel did not disappoint! So worth the wait.

In an age where so many games are copying trends and becoming more and more similar; the uniqueness of Psychonauts and Doublefine's creativity deserves to continue. (says a guy who analyzes these levels over on my channel... a bit bias but hey)

I’m glad Psychonauts 2 was a success, the world of psychonauts has left me wanting more of that world!

in my opinion metroid dread has the best gameplay, psychonauts 2 has the best platformer/story, halo infinite is the best shooter/multiplayer, and ratchet & clank has the best cinematics and visuals of 2021.

Playing this game really made me think about Saturday morning cartoons, especially the theme song.
To say Psychonauts 2 exceeded my expectations doesn't even come close. Truly am amazing video game and one of the best 3D platformers I've ever played!

Why would you want Double Fine to retread more mundane and already done IPs rather than give us new game worlds that we know are going to be rich, unique, surprising and imaginative? This sort of thinking is part of the reason why people don’t try their games and miss out what they have to offer.
@@greatwesternsky Same could be said about approaching a platformer genre in 2021 from an IP that hasn't had a release since 2005.
I'd love to see a studio that took that genre on in this age re-imagine some old classics in their own fashion. Not everything new has to be this brand new grandiose idea, thought up out of thin air.

The NYVCC awards were the lamest, weirdest and dumbest awards i've ever seen. Most nominees didn't even make any sense, specially the game of the year nominees. That said, Psychonauts 2 deserved it.
