- Key Fob 1995-2008 Ford keyless entry programming. If turning the ignition off and on 8 times does not work. Then do the exact same procedure but try turning the ignition on and off 2 times and if that doesn't work, 3times, 4times , 5,6,7,9 etc. One of these combinations should work. Remember the locks should cycle when the right combination is used.

Just bought my daughter a 2008 Ford F-150 Lariat 5.4 Triton. Thanks to TH-cam videos I was able to locate the master door code and then set one up for us to use. I also ordered key fobs for it and thanks to this video, I felt like I could get them going, but it was only $10 for 2 fobs. Following these instructions...I tried 8, nothing happened. So then I tried 2, then 3, then 4, etc. When I got back to 8, I was just going to do 9 times but I noticed my doors unlocked when I got to 8 and I never even touched the fobs that time. I tested both of my fobs and they were both working. I don't know what in the confound cat hair caused mine to work oddly, but I am not complaining as this process worked, just took me a couple of more minutes than expected. Thanks!

Hi: thanks for the tip! Do you know if there is a waiting period to try again? The first attempt worked (locks cycled), but the tutorial I watched didn't specify it needed to be left in run mode, so the fobs didn't program. After that, I tried and the locks didn't do anything, so no programming. Do you know if I can try again after a certain amt of time?

I followed your instruction the 99 expedition goes into programming mode and the two new remotes cycle the locks one time and then does not cycles them again. What could be the issue?

Hi, How can I program 3 FOBs for Ford Escape 2004.

Hi! I have a Ford Explorer 3 (2004) and all previous key fobs are lost, there is only a physical ignition key. I bought one of the key chains you're talking about. After 7 (or 8) turns of the key, the machine switches to programming mode, but pressing the buttons on the keychain does not lead to anything. Could you tell me if any of the previous key chains are needed to program the next one and what could be wrong in my situation?

@@django5937I fixed this problem. A battery was included with the key, and as it turned out, despite the fact that the indicator on the key lit up when the button was pressed, the battery power was not enough for programming. I bought a new battery and everything worked. Good luck

But what if after 8 turns there is no locking click?
i tried the 8 click and no auto lock set re set i do have a red light on dash for security
when i shut it off it is a 99 crown vic not a p91
i have had the8 click work on other fords in the past . So i've done it before
Same with my 05 f150 🤦🏽♂️ I did the 8 clicks multiple times but my locks never cycled so I could never program my new fobs🤦🏽♂️

It wasn't working for me also but I followed the steps I started the vehicle and shut it off 3 times, then did the 8 times and it worked.
I had to keep the driver's door open on my 2008 Ford Expedition XLT to get the locks to cycle.
I had to leave drivers door open and unlock door to get it to work...:)

keep trying if it still does not work either you have bad remote or battery or your vehicle was not equipped with keyless entry stock.

@@seanzerkle2997 Momentarily jump pins in programming connector located at the base of the steering column. All doors will lock then unlock to confirm programming mode.

Thanks for posting! Unfortunately it didn't work for our 1996 Bronco. Tried 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 etc. Other how-to's described 'jumping two pins at the bottom of the steering column' but that is about as clear as mud. Then, I found this video (by Tony's Car Care on youtube) and 1 minute in he shows the connector, the pins, and demonstrates jumping the pins. I could get to mine under the dash without removing any parts and once I knew what they looked like, it took all of ten seconds to program new fobs. i have a 02 f250 bought it from original owner no key fob but found a card in owner manual book with a code listed for it. i dont see any key fobs sellers asking for the code. any ideas?
dsruddell is there push button code entry on door? shouldn't need code for fob just programming.
dsruddell also some vehicles didn't have keyless entry stock. you can verify if your vehicle does by calling your local ford dealership service department and asking them you will need your VIN number.

And yes the locks cycle ready to accept the key fob code but it dose not see it... after about 5 seconds it cycles again to no avil...
