previously, I went to 3 different stores to do this work and nobody knew how to program it, they only said that it was impossible because it was incompatible. then I saw this video and I tried it on my Ford escape 2013 with a ford Mustang flip key type designed for ford escape. It worked immediately!!

Just did it with my 2012 Ford Focus SE and it worked just how you did it on the video, I had to change the PCM in my car and when they did it messed up the programming of the alarm system, so I went to TH-cam and found your video and tried it and it worked so double thumbs up to you bro for sharing your video! 🙂❤️👍
I found that there are additional steps for the 2005 Mercury Mountaineer. (May work on other vehicles having issues as well).
Start from the seated position with the doors closed.
1. open the driver door.
2. press the unlock button on the driver door.
3. turn the key to the run position 8 times, leaving it in the run position on the 8th turn (doors will lock and unlock).
4. press any key on the new key fob (doors will lock and unlock). (Repeat for each additional key fob).
5. Turn ignition off (doors will lock and unlock).
Test each key fob.

I did something liked that on my 2005 Ford Focus. I did have 2 keys but, only one was working for the key fobs.

What if it doesn't have the microchip? My 94 F-150 has regular keys and the remote does work but I'm replacing the keyless module that was damaged so I'll likely have to reprogram it. Yes?

Hi! I have a Ford Explorer 3 (2004) and all previous key fobs are lost, there is only a physical ignition key. I bought one of the key chains you're talking about. After 7 (or 8) turns of the key, the machine switches to programming mode, but pressing the buttons on the keychain does not lead to anything. Could you tell me if any of the previous key chains are needed to program the next one and what could be wrong in my situation?

In my 99 mustang is 8 times. Once i get to the 8th time the car doors lock and unlock indicating it's in programming mode but when i press the button in the keyfob nothing happens. I tried over 20 times over and over again but nothing. Any suggestions?
I just bought a used 2006 Ford Escape, The Dealer I bought it from programmed the remote. For some reason, if I lock it, all the doors will lock, but, it I unlock it, all the doors unlock except the drivers door. Also there is no horn chirp. Any thoughts on this?

I believe the way to program both remotes is to press the unlock button on both remotes within 10 seconds.
Check remote batterys
the original fob has a code in it.Can't you order the new fob with that code?
Within 20 seconds, press any key on the 2nd transmitter. Up to 4 transmitters are allowed. You have to press a button on every remote you have, including all the working original remotes if avail.
Works for 2003 Ford Explorer. Turn key 5 times then hit any button on remote.

Car doesn't have wireless entry. Go to the junkyard, take the door module off one that does and install it on your car. Then you will be able to program it
@@MrGovernment502, it's my work mates car and he has the remote but it only pops the trunk, the lock buttons don't work. The button on the door panel does actuate the locks
Good video amigo! But I have a question. What's happening if I don't get the flash or the sound that you hear after the 8 times that you move the key in the switch? Do I have to program the key?

I ordered to keyless entry fobs off of amazon to replace an old one. watched the video on how to program for explorer on the 8th turn truck locks but my keyless entries dont program??? Took them to Ford dealership and they couldnt get them to work either. Old Fob wont work now either?

Turn ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times for my Windstar according to the cars manual. My issue is the "Door locks will cycle to confirm programming mode" this does not happen. How do I get it in Program mode? Any suggestions?

Police crown Vic doesn't have the remote fob control module installed unless it was converted to a police vehicle from a civilian crown vic

I tried this on my vehicle (2009 Focus), and it didn’t work. Am I supposed to have the door shut while turning it eight times?? (Website for lock told me to turn it on and off eight times and press button EXACTLY like you did in this video; but nothing happened. Oh, and I knew that I wasn’t supposed to turn the engine on/start up the car...)
My 98 mustang I just bought used, the battery went dead, got another battery, replaced the wires with acid, juice is getting to the car(dash lights,dome light,the head lights) but won't turn over at all. It has anti theft but light is not flashing. Now- remote no longer works now either(generic remote, not oem) also remote only worked driver side door (cannot use key in door at all it's bent up looks like someone tried to pry it open) driver side panel doesn't even work passenger side and has to be locked manually. I have 1 key and 1 remote (non oem) am I going to be able to reset it? Could it be that anti theft is thrown off due to the the doors not locking properly ? Everything worked perfectly until the battery went dead! No problems! Any ideas? (And starter is fine, checked fuses but will recheck again, will replace battery in fob too, was a bit weak) any other ideas? Please?

Hi, I am having a problem with remote key with my ford explorer 2010. I changed the battery cell of the remote and afterwards, it was not working. I tried to reprogram it but still no use however during the reprogramming the remote works but after exiting the reprogramming procedure, the remote doesn't work at all.
