THANK YOU! Worked first time following your video. Guy as Advanced Auto Parts told me I had to program it at a dealer. He's full of crap. Took all of two minutes and now I have a brand new fob. TWO THUMBS UP!
I just saved myself almost $200. That's what a locksmith wanted to cut 2 new keys and program them. I went online and found out how to do it myself and both new keys work. I spent $6 on two new keys and $2.78 to have them cut at a hardware store. Next up will be two new remotes. I love TH-cam for this kind of content.
I was quoted 1 remote for 70 dollars by a mobile key duplication company. Thanks to your video I just ordered 2 remotes from Amazon for 25 dollars. Thank you so much for making this video.

Yes it will so , 😊Just program all of them at the same time . Do one , set it down then grab the other one , hold down the buttons and listen for the lock sounds. They will both work or how ever many you program. And of course cycle the key switch once then open your door and your in business
Did not work on my 2006 Saturn Vue. Followed instructions...key in, close door, hold unlock button down, roll key ON and OFF 2 times...car did not lock/unlock/honk. I was really hoping it would work. Did I do something wrong?

Before you replace a non-working key fob, try taking it apart and cleaning the contacts, where the button presses, with electrical contact cleaner. Mine were dirty.

Gee, mine I only had to press the lock and unlock button, but had to make sure the old one was there also so it would still work. Actually when I bought my vehicle the one they had was worn, so they gave me a new one that worked fine, but the old one didn't.. so either the owners manual had instructions or found online, can't remember that just had to hit both lock and unlock button to set it up, but had to have any other where also so it would be set too. So took both to vehicle and on the new one pressed both buttons, and then the old one worked also.

0H 0H 0HHH! I watched. I don’t know how many videos this weekend after replacing the battery in my key fob. Every one of them said the reading in the vehicle needed to be on relearn remote. I did not have that option and it never came up. I just came across your video and I am praying that this works. I cannot wait to try it!!! UPDATE: BOOOO 😢

Bought my 2 remotes from Amazon for our 2007 Hummer H2. Looks exactly like the one featured in this video. First programming went perfectly. 2nd fob isn’t … it may be a bad battery though (even though it should be brand new). Thank you so much for the simple step by step instructions!
I believe so. Just try the unlock and roll the key forward twice and see if the truck responds with a lock and unlock. If so, I would assume you're in program mode...

So you’re saying a old Chevy Equinox key fob will work on a Chevy Traverse if I program it.

It only does the new and doesn't keep the old one programmed. I have both while doing this. So my question is still how can you keep both programmed?
