My home town Guwahati has bumper to bumper traffic in all the roads except few flyovers, and I get only 8 - 9 kmpl with AC on in my Taigun 1.5 DSG. So, now I use my new Tata Tiago EV for city roads and Taigun only when I hit the highway.

No. From day one you should get proper mileage. Only summer temperature is main culprit. It happens with all variants. Try driving in early morning. You will feel the difference

I have a kushaq 1.0 AT. On highway, I get max 18kmpl (using octane 95 everytime hard to achieve) mileage and in city it's around 8-10 considering bangalore Traffic.. I hardly believe it will ever reach 20kmpl.
At how much speed you mostly drive on highway?
@@DirectShift I usually try to keep it less than 100 so mostly it's a 70-90.
Those who are getting 20 or 20+ mileage drive at 80kmph. At 100kmph one will get max 18only.
Hello, when does the low fuel warning light generally comes up in GT plus? I didnt see it come up even when the range was showing 50 kms and only one bar left in fuel meter, considering it has a reserve of 7 ltr as per manual. Thanks
It starts showing warning from 60km range.
I see the low fuel warning when balance range drops to 40 km.
At 16.10 min video you have said 14kmpl very good, but 14kmpl is with /without A/C?
I always drive with AC on. But in winter there is less effects of AC on mileage

You can get more mileage now also with light foot driving with less harsh braking. Try to notice the mileage in early morning or late night time. If you get more mileage then the ambient temperature is the reason of less mileage
If you are a sedated driver like me, you are likely to get 13 - 15 kmpl in city. I have the 1.5l DSG. Try to make use of the auto start feature. In highways, I get around 18 - 20kmpl. Another tip is to maintain a constant speed so that the 2 cylinder mode turns on which improves fuel efficiency substantially.
They recommend in owner manual for 95 octane petrol.
Yes. They recommend 95 people octane. I just used 91 octane to show that i am not getting this mileage from 95octane. Else someone may point out that this mileage can be achieved only using 95 octane.
