My VW virtus 1.0L gave 20.1 km/l during my recent 400 km trip from Chennai to Bangalore. Cruised at 90-100 for about 80 percentage of my journey and occasionally drove 140+ to check the stability and it is indeed a pleasure ❤️
I am actually impressed by the mileage considering the fact that it is a turbocharged 1L engine and it went through some good amount of B2B traffic. If it was a manual, I guess it would've given even more (maybe around 18km/l). If it's possible, please do make a mileage test on the GT variant as well! 🙂
Well this is REAL TEST, and not just highway cruising mileage test. This is condition we all drive on daily basis. On Highways like EPE, my 230BHP laura also give avg of 16-17kmpl.
It is Good and sensible that you don’t fill the tank to brim, which I see many reviewers are doing to calculate tank to tank mileage. Filling it to brim will definitely destroy the EVAP canister.
I’m kind of confused between new Verna and Virtus. Which one to opt for. Virtus had good build and engine but many others areas have to compromise. Verna attracts with good package without build quality assurance. Both have pros and cons
both the cars offer a different package - while the Virtus offers a comfortable and a performance packed package, the Scorpio N on the other hand appeals us with its massive road presence and strong capabilities

How effective is the air conditioning on this car?
I had bad experience with german cars when it comes to ac performance.
it was average - had no issues in regular usage conditions - it however struggles a little in bumper to bumper traffic
A/c update on the way performance should improve
It gave a good mileage of 15.6 km/l in Chennai Highway

It is not flickering it looks like flickering because of the camera fps

Can I trust the ‘Average Milege’ reflecting in car ?
If yes , I get above 20 kmpl in almost all the cases…
you can once confirm the mileage with tank-full-to-tank full method - normally, the average mileage is 85-90% percent accurate
