  • Skoda kushaq problems is what we are going to discuss today and since it's launch Skoda has suffered a lot of complaints and this has not changed much today but is it true that it comes with a lot of problems and these problems are major ones and it could hinder the ownership experience if you are planning to purchase this car?
I drive the Skoda kushaq 1.0 l TSI manual transmission also the all new 1.5 litre TSI dsg gearbox to tell you all about the car this includes the drive performance overall handling balance and the ride quality in rough terrains.
Volkswagen taigun is the other option that you have and this car also is built on the same platform so in terms of safety this car performs really well like other Skoda and Volkswagen cars and in terms of minor accidents Kushaq will keep you safe.
Skoda kushaq is finally here and this is one of the most anticipated cars from the Volkswagen group with the new platform specification for India a lot of things can change for Volkswagen and Skoda in India.
Skoda and Volkswagen have work really hard to reduce the cost of this spare parts that was a major concern for all the previous customers from Skoda and Volkswagen.
Since Skoda Kushaq is specifically made for India a lot of things are robust and designed to handle the rough trains in our country this includes it design which is not very wide to cut through traffic is also make set much easier to handle the car and traffic also the Skoda kusha stands for king in Sanskrit that says a lot about how important the Indian market is for Skoda Kushaq.

Your opinion is respected bro as it is yours.. does not matter. Negative points were repeated and were personal not generic. Ex: I see kushaq as mini suv in some angles but again that does not change the fact . I have fiesta ZXI petrol, and still feel the build quality is way more than cars nowadays. But as I am planning to buy a new car I can’t help but buy. It’s same with food, craft and every other things, quality declines.

Offenly I drive long distance, recently traveled by Kushaq 1.0 MT from ooty to Bellampally approx 1100km, The performance is excellent, road handling between speed 100 to 120 Km is excellent , Traction control working fine also provide audio and visual indicators on bad road. In my opinion is excellent compact SUV for highway and city as well..

As a first time buyer, I watched multiple reviews from ex VW buyers and all of them have complained about the drop in quality in Kushaq and Taigun.
Been said that, as a new buyer who doesn't have any base reference, 7-9 months waiting in Kia and Hyundai is a big No No for most of us. Also some Hyundai showrooms are running a scam of pushing customers to buy 1-1.5 lakhs of accessories to reduce the waiting period. In my case they even refused to give the test drive. Why will a customer buy a car in the Rs 15-20 lakh segment without a test drive. I found Maruti's positioning much better with 2-3 months of wait but with much better showroom experience.

  • @Mirror_of_Truth
    @Mirror_of_Truth 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

Why so-called-reviewers starts comparing VW Brand cars with their old models.
I guess in current scenario, the best analytics would be to compare these models with other brand's models offered in this same price range.. No one can go back in the past to get the previously available quality products (atleast new ones)
People are confused as to which is better product in current time - Like Creta/Seltos/Astor/Kushaq/Taigun/ (or upcoming ones) Hyryder/Vitara (Compare only Petrol if Kushaq and Taigun is in the list as they are offered in Petrol only).
A typical family user doesn't quantify stuffs so minutely, all they want is
    Hassle free life
    Smooth ride
    Good Family Comfort
    Safety
Mileage (This is something that vary from person to person)
Interior Quality is something you can't quantify .. all that a typical under can differentiate is the FIT and FINISH .. so focus on that
Looks (Matters to family esp kids)
Minor initial lags are rather good as no one want that initial power in a bumper to bumper traffic leading to mishappenings. A typical family user won't think of him/her self as michael schumacher. PERIOD !

Let me tell you brother I am using Skoda for the last 5 yrs and have never faced any issues either with reliability or service. The folks are good if you treat them with respect. Normally a customer walks in with lots of anger and in such cases they would behave otherwise. As far as safety is concerned this car has been rated for child and adult safety at 5 no other car in that segment has got that rating. As far as timeless design is concerned it is still a very good design when compared to other brands that just give u cosmetic looks and then you find that the tail lights don’t work after a certain time. I would urge anyone interested in European cars to go for it. As far as safety is concerned companies now have shed some weight yet maintained the integrity of the car. One can’t say it is not of the same build quality as the ones earlier. These are my views and I have owned mutilple cars and by far Skoda is the best car I have owned and value for money in my opinion.

With utmost respect I would like to disagree with you.
    1. Looks are subjective.
    2. I think recent 5 star safety ratings clears your doubts about safety.
    3. Boot space is practically adequate. The number doesn't tell you everything. Take a look at MG Astor. It has boot space of 420 litres, but practically you cannot keep anything and I mean it. 1 trolley and you are done.
    4. Reg. Mileage I cannot comment, I think you would be a better judge but I assume 13-15 in city and 18-19 in Highways.

I liked the video, the review is honest. We have seltos in my family and I wanted to buy a car which is more compact suv than seltos. I was impressed with the design Kushaq has, for me it’s a very balanced car, I knew before going for a test drive that this car is smaller than seltos so I thought of taking a test drive of this car. When I entered into the car, I felt the quality of the material used for interior is not at all good. As I have mentioned we own seltos already and the variant is htx+ so it was my natural response to compare kushaq’s interior with the seltos and there I was very much disappointed with kushaq. The sales person asked me to close the door and listen to the sound and feel the weight of the door, to be very frank, I could feel the the door is heavy but again when the door touches the body of the car the sound it produces a clattering sound which I feel is not good for a car which costs 15 lakhs. I drove 1.0 litre style variant manual and I felt the sound of the engine was too much in the cabin and with this sound I can’t go on a long trip with this car. That was more disappointing than the interior material quality of the car.
I saw multiple reviews and what I observed is people are just talking about only it’s build quality and it’s handling and driving experience. Owners are complaining a lot about small small things but still they just want to praise the car may be just because they have spent 15-20 lakhs on it and they just want to accept that it’s the best because it’s build quality is better than other cars. I feel But after spending this much amount no one wants tiny problems to irritate us every now and then.
Seltos and creta, except in terms of build quality, are much better option than kushaq and also it’s not like they (seltos and creta) are very poor in driving and handling. I would say kushaq is ahead of seltos And creta only in terms of build quanlity but overall (mileage, service, interior quality, driving experience and handling) Kia seltos and Hyundai creta are better than kushaq.

Have you seen the build quality of Seltos?? Its the worst Build car after Marutis !
How can you keep on referring to Seltos from time to time?
its clear you are NOT Adept enough to comment on cars if you don't have a Basic Idea, I mean you are comparing things which do not compare in any way !
Boot Space Chota hai? WOW ! Bhai Be educated, you do Not go by Boot space in Litres, you practically put suff in and check, that is how an auto critic does RnD.
Kia Seltos ! LOL this is our Auto Critic fellas !
PS : Im not a skoda fanboi in any way, And All due respect, Kudos to your opinion, Many valid points have been mentioned.
