In this video we breakdown and explain the E3D V6 All Metal Hotend. We have received some questions asking why we upgraded and how is this considered an all-metal hotend. We are going to break it down for you here and show the differences between a clone and genuine V6, why this is considered an all-metal hotend and hopefully this video explains one of the reasons why we upgraded from the factory Qidi Hotend and Extruder to the E3D V6 All-Metal hotend. I do have a couple of videos in the queue. There will be a maintenance video coming and as soon as the mail system delivers my package I’ll be dropping another video demonstrating software I use. It’s a surprise for another TH-camr so I don’t want to release it until it is delivered. Did you have a specific video in mind you’re hoping/waiting for?
@@Eitri3D I would like something about maintenance, machine upgrades (like Bondtech LGX + Mosquito), firmware modification..... as I have a Qidi X-Max but the stock extruder is junk.

Have you checked out our Chad Mod playlist? That’s a BMG dual gear extruder with a V6 hotend upgrade and added fan for cooling. As for firmware modifications. I hearing someone is installing klipper successfully, but that’s is above my abilities at this point.
@@Eitri3D Atilla and Cameron works in klipper.....also look at Chad mod but I like Bondtech LGX better.

I just stumbled upon this and I don't mean to be rude, but I really have to ask cuz it's irking me: are you brother and sister or just s/o's? you could both genuinely pass as twins if it's the latter. if former I wish I had a cool sis who's passionate about one of my hobbies
edit: oh crap I think you're father/daughter, why didn't I think of that in the first place? I should stop getting high and typing on yt. I got through the vid and then it hit me: IT'S FATHER DAUGHTER!!!! the girl's obviously really young/acting like a young person (could still be the other two but I doubt it) which I initially mistook for being stoned... dude is kinda fatherly playful (I thought was playful flirty at first) with her. that's a huge compliment for dad if it's true, because he looks young, but comes across as an insult to the daughter without me p-ost-facing the fact that she obviously is a lot younger looking than him but ya'know, a 20 year gap nowadays is fairly common. it's also fairly common for like 14 year olds to look 24
