She didn't want him at the birth - that's why she sent messages to his FAMILY on Facebook, instead of just calling HIM. She had no use for him - she had her husband back. Making plans for meetings where he had to fly TWICE all that way and intentionally standing him up is flat-out MEAN and SELFISH. She sleeps with him one day, he goes into a coma the NEXT DAY, and she jumps RIGHT BACK to her husband the SAME DAY. What show were YOU watching? The woman is vile. She has no redeemable qualities.

She has admitted in open court to parental alienation which is a crime. Mr. Webb could likely be granted full sole custody based on this alone. I hope he does get custody. FULL custody!
But he probably won't because 2 years is a very long time to a young child. She only knows these 2 ..... it is essentially kidnapping in my book because she ran off with the child without notice - and parents have been charged with kidnapping for doing this in the past.
If the family courts in his area are really about justice and care about the child's needs. She needs to spend time on a regular basis with both her parents. Even if the one parent is trash. As long as the child is safe, she deserves both parents.

Just last year I did a DNA test on ancestry and found a DNA cousin who contacted me on ancestry. she was DEVASTATED becasue she is 24 years old and her mother LIED to her on whom her father was. Her mother's husband is not her father and this poor young woman found out by taking a DNA test on ancestry. would you want that to happen to that little girl? Exactly my question because they didn’t say how he ended up in the ICU and his behavior shows me there’s something going on. I have to wonder if he OD and ended up on life support because of it. My only hope is he turned his life around and has goals in place for his baby. For we know he could be the best father in the world if given at least a chance.

This touched so close to home. For 15 years, my son's mother and her husband did the same thing. She changed her phone number, blocked me on all social media platforms, changed her first and last name after she married her husband, and changed our child name making it extremely difficult for me to locate them over the years. She passed away, leaving the child with no legal parents or guardian. Her husband is fighting me for custody. I saw my son for the first time, two days before his 15th birthday in court. And i cried just looking at him, but i hid my tears. I wish i didn't. I wish i let him see me vulnerable in that moment. My son wouldnt even look at me. He was told all these years that I abandoned him when all i've been doing is searching for him and reaching out every time i get some kind of new contact information for his mother and his step father. They just kept on blocking me. My biggest regret is not taking legal action when he was a baby.

This episode made me so angry. I can’t understand how selfish someone has to be to deprive a child of knowing their dad. There is no history of abuse and this guy is obviously very sweet.

He won't. The courts aren't supportive of fathers like Mr. Webb, but he may win visitation rights. Enforcement is going to be near impossible because they aren't even in the same state.

I had family member go through something eerily similar and after a couple years of court battles he has his little girl about 40% of the time, which while not full or even joint custody for now it's enough. It took him paying thousands to a lawyer along the way though and from this gentleman's testimony he likely doesn't have the money to do that. I hope the best for him but the cruel reality is he will be fighting a long, uphill battle.
