You need a sand blaster. First time I have seen the tenon cast in, good idea. I'm assuming Purdo gives you the resin.
Mmmmm sand blaster …new toy! Great idea lol. Well I have recently formed an affiliate with them but honestly their resin is as good as any. But cheaper. Plus I can get it over night 2 days max from Amazon. I’m using their casting product which normally would be deep pour that is twice the price. I haven’t yet encountered thermal cracking in my pours. But even if I do I would use a contrasting filler.
Excellent and beautiful piece. Always gorgeous colors and so talented. We spoke before about thermal swirling. One you tuber was saying to wait as long as you can to add your swirling stuff.

What size is that mold? Looks to be in the 8” x 5-6” deep and can’t find anything in that range on crafted elements.

Thanks mate! It’s a 12 x 5 and the one that it sits in is a 16 x 5. I use the 12” more often
As the larger one produces a huge bowl that isn’t as poplar to sell. I guess it’s the economics since the amount of materials needed for the large one dictates the price. Cheers
Great video, music and a beautiful bowl. The wood block in the resin was something I have never seen. Was the white accent acrylic paint or resin?
Appreciate your comments and the white is achieved by mixing 2oz of plain resin with angel white paste and pouring into the mold on top of the blue resin. The swirls are created by the thermic reaction during curing time in the pressure pot. Cheers!
