I am a 70+ year old male with tinnitus, and a slight hearing loss at the higher frequencies above 4k hertz. I tried these air pods4 with noise cancellation. I’m very impressed with this technology. Thanks for this video. I will try this on a 12 hour flight to Tokyo on Monday.
The Pro's irritate my ears, as if I would get allergic reactions. I had to downgrade to regular pods because of it. These AirPods4 will be perfect for me.
Same for me and my dad too. Really wish there was a way to have the pros not irritate my skin so much. So frustrating to go from the great airpod pros to the cheaper model. Hopefully this bridges that gap.
@@taylanjadeDPT Before giving up on my Pros I picked up some of the memory foam tips to replace the silicone ones. This has helped tremendously! They even seem to make the ANC a little better. Usually I'd be itching and ready to take them out but so far so good. I'd much rather spend $10 than $180 and have to sell my pros. Hope this is helpful.
I was under the impression that with any ANC device, high frequencies usually get through - and that's a good thing, because that includes sirens and screams and things you should probably NEED to hear all the time when they happen. As opposed to an aircraft or air conditioning hum
No seal anc is the holy grail. Glad somebody finally nailed this category. Every year there is a promising product. And hearing aid, in the pro, so obvious, they were always going into that direction but fda approved is next level. And what he said the battery life is 4hr with 3hr of those with music, not 3hr total.
Seems like a great combination with a pair of over ears with better ANC so you have a comfortable option for on the go in the city, but a more strong option for when you really need to cancel out all noise when you're on a plane or studying/working.
Overall a good review. I was more interested in the "vs. AirPods Pro 2" advertised in the title, but you imo you failed to do that. Decent review of the AirPods 4 though.
Watching this video with my airpods 4 (ANC) on my flip 4. I think noise cancellation is fantastic on theses open earbuds. Honestly I'm not even a fan of Apple but I'll give them credit for these earbuds.
To those who choose to get other ear buds who want ANC, look into getting foam tips. They are much more comfortable than silicon tips and create a perfect when you select the right size (get a mixed set to start). Passive noise reduction from foam tips is quite good.
Still doesn't work for me. I've tried all the different tips. Rubber, foam, the ones with hooks, the tripple tips. They're all uncomfortable and I can't wear them for extended periods. These 4s with anc are the perfect solution. I have Bose QC ultrase for when I can carry something bigger and want more comfort.
You should really mention that the ear tip blocks the outside noise (to some level) and therefore allows listening at lower volume which is very very good and important to protect your hearing. It is an essential point that not enough people mention ... Juan Bagnell does which is awesome but every reviewer should. And sure, ANC does help with that but that is using power unnecessarily and it can alter the sound quality.
It's why i've upgraded from my galaxy buds live to the Buds 3 pro - i had to crank the volume up on the former to hear anything when in public spaces, and my ears already aren't that great so it was doing more damage than it should have
That's a given, no one really mentions it because it'd be like telling people not having ear tips leaks in more noise, it doesn't need to be said. It's why there was so much interest in how AirPods 4 ANC will perform. The real point here is, some people don't like wearing the ear tips because it's uncomfortable, and don't like wearing overear headphones for another reason, and this solution is better than no ANC at all.
@@rousseau327 it does because many people don't realise that the perceived volume of your music doesn't obviously translate into dB measurements and that when you increase your volume so that you can hear your music as loud outside than indoors you are actually at risk of hiring dangerous levels and that you probably already are. Hi guys as a power android user the airpods pro 2 (and I assume their successor next year) have the very best transparency mode and anc compared to my sony xm5, sennheiser tw4, hifiman svanar etc hands down. Having true to life transparency mode means i don't have to take them off to talk with someone and having more frequency range cut out with their anc is honestly really great. This is with an android and thus without an airpods app on the play store! Sound quality is similar
I'm seriously thinking of getting a pair... mostly for the office. We are ramping up to our busy season and I anticipate a lot of phone calls. The ac/heating unit is right next to me and I think the ANC will really help. The open ear design will allow me to talk to customers in person too.
I just picked these up to replace my AirPods 3. I can’t deal with the tip in my ear it drives me nuts. I’ve never been an AirPods Pro user because of this. I will say the AirPods 4 ANC are amazing. I also own the AirPods Max and i can honestly say I don’t need them anymore with how good the ANC is on these new AirPods 4. I highly suggest these! Great review!
what was your impression of the feeling of pressure? I always seem to have an issue with ANC causing a very stuffed up feeling. I was hoping these might have less of that due to not having such a good seal. Thoughts?
Caleb, can you find out if the AirPods Pro 2 with Lightning Case will be compatible with the upcoming Hearing Aid feature?. My memory says that there is a slight technical difference to the AirPods Pro 2 with USB C, even if Apple doesn’t differentiate in nomenclature.
I’m an audiophile but I have wireless earbuds because I don’t need to have pristine sound every time I listen to music, espeically if I’m out and about or doing yardwork or in the kitchen. Having said that, you have convinced me to replace my AirPods 3 with the AirPods 4. The 3’s are fine but they don’t fit the best and the right bud is starting to go out. Thanks for the vid. Keep up the great work!
I bought the pro 2 and the 3 when they came out. I can’t use the pro 2 in many situations like jogging or for a quick call with 1 bud, and vice versa sometimes I do want to wedge something into my ear to isolate myself. So my question is are the 4 worth the upgrade over 3 (Pro2 are a given).
My problem is that I just find all AirPods uncomfortable. I bought the original AirPods Pro when they came out and I returned them after a week. Wearing them for more than an hour was actually painful. I don’t get that with my Bose Quiet comfort ultras. I must have weird shaped ears.
I had the same problem when I bought the Airpods Pro 2 with USBC. I returned them after 4 days. The airpods 3 are more comfortable in my ears and I could wear them for hours without any pain at all. Hopefully the airpods 4 are the same.
I am so hyped for these, I find earbuds with silicone tips extremely uncomfortable, and they fall out of my ears after some 10 minutes of wearing them... So these are my only real option to have noise cancelling and also to not always have to blast my AirPods 2 on max volume to hear anything in the train... Hopefully the fitment is as comfortable as the AirPods 2, which were the only Earbuds to really fit my ears well for longer periods of time.
I am debating whether to go for the Pro 2s or the 4 with ANC. Silicone eartips make my ears irritated after a while and I had the AirPods 1 then the AirPods 2. My AirPods 2s are getting ready for a replacement after almost 5 years... I just wish I could try these out somewhere :(
Can you charge the airpods 4 case by it’s self while using the ear buds like you can on the pro 2s? Also does the battery percentage of the buds and the case appear in the battery widget even if the case is closed, and does the airpods 4 case chime when you put in pairing mode?
As someone who cannot wear any earbuds with tips that provide a seal, any amount of ANC on non-tip earpods is welcome. For top tier ANC I'll wear my headphones, but for any quick and convenient use cases, these Airpods 4 with ANC will be an absolute game changer for people like me.
Just have it returned. If you need ANC go for pro, if not go for base one. This base one w/ ANC act strangely in certain conditions, not optimal design
The best open ear noise cancelling earbuds I've ever owned is the Jabra 85t's. They just rest in my ear canal so it's not fatiguing to wear all day. Anyone used to regular earbuds will be uncomfortable with them just sitting in the ear but I've never had them fall out. There's enough grip from my ear to keep them seated. And another thing, since they're open, there's no pressure when turning on ANC and I don't hear my footsteps in my head like all other earbuds. It's a real shame they didn't sell well so they didn't make any follow up products like that until the Elite 10 and then it was their final product before giving up on consumer headphones.
This Air Pods 4 ANC its just perfect for me. I already use AirPods 2 and the stability in the ear is just perfect (Gym, running or just st at work). I already tried AP pro and other company Ear Canal earbuds and other sizes and nothing can stable fit in me ears.... So yeah, im definitly gonna buy this bad boy :D
ANC is better on the pro’s , swipe control opposed to touch controls on the stems, the case has a lanyard loop, the case has a U1 chip for tracking and it also has MagSafe charging
Airpods 4 case has magsafe charging and tracking as well. ANC is the same. And I could care less about the loop. You're buying the $5 silicone case anyway aren't you. they all have the stupid ass loop.
@@modo203 AirPods 4 case isn’t MagSafe. It will work if you set it on a MagSafe or Qi charger, but doesn’t have the magnets to hold it in place like the previous gen. The new case is actually too small.
I tried every AirPods version and the combination of AirPods Pro with AirFoams Pro ear tips works for me. I do also like the AirPods Pro 3 as I do not have issues with them falling out. I will be trying out the AirPods Pro 4 ANC as I am curious.
The Galaxy buds 3 anc is actually incredibly good but it depends on your ears and they have a deep bass which shocked me. Give it a try and review them
Well, just like the second and third Generation the right headphone does not fit properly, I constantly have to reposition the headphone every few seconds unless I’m sitting still. So I purchased slip on ear hooks to help keep them positioned properly in my ears especially my right ear👍🏽
i have the original version 1 airpods, they are good for watching YT on the train. However one keeps falling out and I use one only which means I can hold it in if I want to, I hate dropping one on a crowded train as I can’t bend down to pick it up. I’d be interested if the version 4 hold in better.
Bowers & Wilkins - Pi8 True Wireless Noise Cancelling are truly incredible, I just picked them up and their even better than the Sony earbuds music is absolutely incredible well worth the 400 price tag! I use them at work all the time!
I think the AirPods and the AirPods ANC should have been $99 and $139 respectively. But other than that they do fit nice in the sound is a lot better from the previous generation. You can't go wrong with either one of them. I also have samsung buds 3 and inthink the anc is fairly good on them. But the have a better passive seal than apple.
I have the Apple AirPods 2 and I use them when mowing the yard. I’m right on top of the lawn mower and I hear nothing but the music im playing. I’m one of those who are deep in the Apple Eco system, everything I have is Apple and I am very pleased with all of it.
just preordered, delivering next week. I usually have to use my Soundcore headphones at work in order to keep the noisy co-workers from bleeding through. Was looking into beats but they are all earbud tipped.
I have my AirPod Pro 2’s with the old lightning port. I think I need the ear tip. The first gen AirPods would helplessly fall out lying on a gym bench or straining during a squat as I naturally wiggle my ears, so most earbuds don’t work.
Thanks for review. I wonder if this AirPods 4 ANC will make companies like Samsung or similar to "magicaly" start to doing it in same quality or even better. What do you all think? This is good opportunity to buy this, but its also great impulse for different brands to do so.
I'm not a big fan of Apple, but if the ANC works well with android, then I'm sold. I've been looking for a replacement for my huaweid freebuds 3 with ANC for a while now, as the batteries are dying - but haven't found a decent alternative. It now seems that I finally have. I *really* didn't expect the replacement to be a product from Apple though.
Looks like a very solid update. The short battery life surprised me, that is a bit of a drag and sub-par compared to competitors which are mostly 7-8 hrs with ANC. And no volume controls on them (I hate having to fish around in my work pants when I'm doing yard work to get my phone out). But the ANC seems very effective (maybe tooo effective when crossing the street?!) BTW the review image @14:33 is showing the Galaxy Buds 3 *Pro*, not the "open" Buds 3 that you refer to in the voiceover.
I feel ya, I just defaulted to asking Siri to raise the volume when I’m at the gym or weed whacking but for the price of these and and overall upgrade over my 3 year old AirPod 3s I can’t complain
Great review! Picking them up day one to replace my AirPods 3. I made the costly mistake buying the non wireless charging version because the magsafe charging ones were out of stock. Glad I can finally wirelessly charge again like my AirPods 2 (The ANC + improved audio will be a massive bonus)
@@jonathansaindon788 Doesn’t really matter to me. My AirPods 3 have no form of wireless charging so it’s still a win regardless if it has magsafe or not.
Reviews never seem to mention the availability of aftermarket silicone AirPod covers...I can only use my AirPod 2s with silicone covers with fins and tips that keep them in my ears. Yes, I have to remove the covers every time to charge, but that hasn't proved to be much of a hassle.
@@mrwoody1413 I have large ears, so I have the opposite problem. There are dozens of brands of all types on Amazon...I have had luck with KeyBudz brand Earbuddyz for my AirPod2s.
I wish Apple would integrate controls for their AirPods line into Android and Windows. As an Apple user with iPhones, iPads, and Macs, Its asinine to have to adjust AirPods settings on my iPhone for them to function properly on Windows computer at work. I'm not buying a separate headset for my work computer when I've already invested over $200 in AirPods Pro. Although I appreciate Apple's ecosystem, there's no reason it shouldn't function similarly outside of it. Given that Macs are not commonly used in business, it's time for Apple to allow users to fully utilize their products whenever necessary.
Great review, Apple make the AirPods sound the way they do to be able to accommodate/sound good also for Podcasts, Movies and the rest of them, they could be tuned better but that’ll affect these categories…
I wanted a noisy room phone call test but I assume they work above average. I look forward to finding out about Apple airpods that can be used as hearing aids. My father-in-law only has a flip phone. 😅
Thanks for this review! I appreciate you comparing the ANC feature of the AirPods 4 with ANC with the AirPods Pro 2. It sounds like you are saying that the AirPods 4 with ANC are not quite as effective at Noise Cancelling as the AirPods Pro, mostly because of the open ear design. It seems like maybe some of the gestures available on the AirPods 4 with ANC are not available on the AirPods Pro 2? Also, it would be nice if you could compare the actual sound quality of the AirPods 4 with ANC with the AirPods Pro 2.
I am thinking that because Caleb said that these were not made for audiophiles, the quality is not as good as the AirPods Pro 2; however, I guess I was looking for more of a comparison as to the actual sound quality between these two, and how they differ since Caleb seemed to really like the sound quality of the AirPods 4 with ANC.
Could I run a vacuum cleaner with ANC on with AirPods 4 and listen to Podcasts? Does this AirPods 4 have a volume control on the AirPods 4 or do I have to ask Siri to lower volume like AirPods 3 which is useless.. Thanks
I am hearing impaired mostly in my right ear, however on a limited budget $2k hearing aids are out of the question. Especially since most insurance policies don’t cover it. Last year I bought the Sony OTC hearing aids though a definite improvement they amplify the noise as well. and after about an hour of wearing them I get fatigued and the extra noise drives me crazy. I’m really looking forward to buying the Air Pods Pro 2 since they are approved as an OTC hearing aid. and they are a quarter of the cost of the $900 Sony’s OTC hearing aid.
I have a hearing problem and wear hearing aids. FYI, you have to allow your brain to get use to the new sounds. Hearing aids need to be worn every day consistently for several weeks for new users to adjust. Good luck.
Might cancel my order after learning about the battery life. Wow…what a disappointment. MULTIPLE reviews claimed an increase to battery life, but failed to mention they were exclusively from the case, not the AirPods themselves. They also didn’t receive any of the swipe controls or even long press to change sound mode? WHAT?!
that is from personal experience with the 4 with ANC? I have similar issues so am curious . Thought the ANC would cause less of an effect than the Pro 2's due to not having a seal.
@@MarkHolmes apparently it’s even worst. I havnt tried these, I never even knew about ANC pressure issue until I tried my buddy’s (I’ve tried in ear & over ever) sucks. Between my iPhone SE3 & wired headphones it’s like I’m still living in 2014 😅 🤷🏻♂️
I have been using Samsung phones for the past decade and am currently daily driving the S24 Ultra. A couple of years ago, I bought some Raycon earbuds which worked well enough with one serious downside. Every time I wore them I developed contact dermatitis inside my ears. The rash would persist for over a week. I had never had that issue before. Last year, I bought a pair of Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. I figured they would be safe because I didn't have an allergic reaction with the original Galaxy Buds. I was wrong as my ears became irritated after less than 15 minutes of use. I suppose if I buy the Earpods 4 with ANC and don't like them, I can give them to someone in my family. I am the only person in my family other than my 7-year-old nephew without an iPhone. I just wish there was somewhere I could try a pair on my ears before spending $180.

The standard 4s should be compared to the 3s. I hated the way the 3s sounded. I much prefer the 2s. The 3s sounded hollow and dialogue/vocals didn’t seem as clear and the bass didn’t seem to go as deep.
No one is actually saying, is the music quality better than the AirPod 3s as in more bass. The biggest fault I find is as they do not fit the ear perfectly they are bass light, unless you hold them in, so are the 4s and better. All the rest is just icing. So these are my only real option to have noise cancelling and also to not always have to blast my AirPods 2 on max volume to hear anything in the train... Hopefully the fitment is as comfortable as the AirPods 2, which were the only Earbuds to really fit my ears well for longer periods of time.
What about the sound quality of the phone call?
I am debating whether to go for the Pro 2s or the 4 with ANC. Silicone eartips make my ears irritated after a while and I had the AirPods 1 then the AirPods 2. My AirPods 2s are getting ready for a replacement after almost 5 years... I just wish I could try these out somewhere :(
You mentioned Android, question is if the ANC works with Android devices? Trying to figure out if I'll get the ANC- or non-ANC version.
Very nice review. This what we call “review” not just jotting down what apple says in their website. Good job bro. Subbed because of you.
If iPods are for Apple then what is the best option for Android?
@@modo203I may be wrong, but MKBHD just did a review and believe he also stated no MagSafe as the case is too small
@@modo203the ANC is not the same. Having the silicone tips creates a seal, which makes a huge difference
@@modo203 AirPods 4 case isn’t MagSafe. It will work if you set it on a MagSafe or Qi charger, but doesn’t have the magnets to hold it in place like the previous gen. The new case is actually too small.
@@modo203holy cope the anc on the airpods 4 is NOTHING compared to the pros 2
Aren't there 3rd party ear cushion thingies for the air pod with ANC (a "poor man's" pro version)?
i have the original version 1 airpods, they are good for watching YT on the train.
Does ANC go away when paired with an android phone?
How about Spatial Audio?
Wonder if your hearing shutdown because of the overly loud ANC on the plane? Planes can be pretty loud.
I have the Apple AirPods 2 and I use them when mowing the yard. I’m right on top of the lawn mower and I hear nothing but the music im playing. I’m one of those who are deep in the Apple Eco system, everything I have is Apple and I am very pleased with all of it.
Used AirPods Pro in transparancy mode last weekend at conference. Very helpful. Thank you for the great review of the new AirPods 4.
how would it be possible to turn anc on/off with an android phone?
just preordered, delivering next week. I usually have to use my Soundcore headphones at work in order to keep the noisy co-workers from bleeding through. Was looking into beats but they are all earbud tipped.
I was looking forward for your thorough review on these airpods. Thank you Caleb.
It is time for some new AirPod pros!
Great review. A very likeable host and “down to earth”.
Great review. As an Android user, I will wait for the competition to close the gap in ANC. In a year, they will have it figured out.
Thanks for the review. 👍
Why not review the galaxy buds 3 pro?
Can anyone please suggest what should i buy
Sony xm5 or airpods 4?
Looks like a very solid update. The short battery life surprised me, that is a bit of a drag and sub-par compared to competitors which are mostly 7-8 hrs with ANC. And no volume controls on them (I hate having to fish around in my work pants when I'm doing yard work to get my phone out). But the ANC seems very effective (maybe tooo effective when crossing the street?!)
BTW the review image @14:33 is showing the Galaxy Buds 3 *Pro*, not the "open" Buds 3 that you refer to in the voiceover.
The Airpods 4 do NOT have the magnet all the other ones have though. It won’t stick to vertical chargers.
Sorry but there is no MagSafe
Only wireless
@@jonathansaindon788 Doesn’t really matter to me. My AirPods 3 have no form of wireless charging so it’s still a win regardless if it has magsafe or not.
Love your video you are awesome.
Most comprehensive review i have seen lately. Subscribed!
Better late than never
I don’t understand. Personlized Spatial Audio and head tracking is already there on AirPods 3 !
Woulda got the 4’s no question but the smaller battery is making the pros look good still.
Thanks want to buy myself and my wife a pair. Can't wait
For a little extra $ especially when they are discounted to 179 USD it’s the Pro 2 hands down. Get the extended warranty I’ve had two pairs fail.
Good review... Im sold. Ordering now
Do AirPod pro 2 also have head gestures?
yes
Reviews never seem to mention the availability of aftermarket silicone AirPod covers...I can only use my AirPod 2s with silicone covers with fins and tips that keep them in my ears. Yes, I have to remove the covers every time to charge, but that hasn't proved to be much of a hassle.
I have small ears and my pros don’t stay in my ears well. Can you point me in the right direction to get some covers with fins that are good?
Mine are coming Friday! Thank you for the review, I’m excited to get them.
How are you getting them Friday
@@shubdh-hz5ul you can pre order them
I wanted a noisy room phone call test but I assume they work above average. I look forward to finding out about Apple airpods that can be used as hearing aids. My father-in-law only has a flip phone. 😅
The AirPods Pro 2 will have clinical level hearing aid function via a software update this Fall. It’s FDA approved.
Great review!
typo? “active noice cancellation” lol 9:54
Bit confusing by talking about the ANC on Galaxy Buds 3 but showing a picture and text about Galaxy Buds 3 Pro.
All of that changes with IOS 18. You will get the hearing aid function as well as the nodding gestures with the Airpods Pro 2..
@@paulh6517 Ah interesting!
@@paulh6517 Do we know for a fact that current owners of the AirPods Pro2 will get the head gesturing and hearing aid features with an IOS 18 update?
I am thinking that because Caleb said that these were not made for audiophiles, the quality is not as good as the AirPods Pro 2; however, I guess I was looking for more of a comparison as to the actual sound quality between these two, and how they differ since Caleb seemed to really like the sound quality of the AirPods 4 with ANC.
out Friday can't wait to get these
First time hearing people hate tips
Could I run a vacuum cleaner with ANC on with AirPods 4 and listen to Podcasts? Does this AirPods 4 have a volume control on the AirPods 4 or do I have to ask Siri to lower volume like AirPods 3 which is useless.. Thanks
Volume control on the Airpod itself is still a Pro 2 exclusive feature.
You can use your Apple Watch crown to control the volume.
There was spacial audio and head tracking with three AirPods 3 though….
I care most about which sounds better for music listening: AirPods 4 or AirPods Pro? This video didn’t even get to that! 🤯
Exactly
I have a hearing problem and wear hearing aids. FYI, you have to allow your brain to get use to the new sounds. Hearing aids need to be worn every day consistently for several weeks for new users to adjust.
Good luck.
Might cancel my order after learning about the battery life. Wow…what a disappointment. MULTIPLE reviews claimed an increase to battery life, but failed to mention they were exclusively from the case, not the AirPods themselves. They also didn’t receive any of the swipe controls or even long press to change sound mode? WHAT?!
Dang, I was hoping for less pressure sound from the ANC, oh well, guess ANC will never be for me 😔 would’ve been nice
that is from personal experience with the 4 with ANC?
Maybe an Apple Store as some demo units if you ask for a try, but it's speculation.
@@daviddenoncourt757I dont think any of apple stores have any demos for consumers to try on it. But anyway, the other guy should take a glance at the store.
Thanks Caleb!
get airpod 3 or pro and not 4
AirPods 3 has
slightly more battery
comes with a cable
magsafe which I am sure more apple users have more lying around the home/office than Apple Watch charger
much cheaper now
pro 2 has
magsafe
volume control
comes with a cable
not much more expensive especially during the holidays
and all the new feature
and ANC
unless you truly care about ANC and just hate the seal
its like apple nowadays, have to remove something whether be accessories , features or hardware
Hate the seal on the pros. They fall out of my ears all the time. I hate the pressure from the silicone tips. Smooth plastic fits great for me and doesn’t hurt. AirPods 4 with ANC is EXACTLY what I have been waiting for. Airtag built in with a speaker is a godsend. Apple Watch puck charging/USB c is perfect for me. New ANC features are well worth it (imho). $179 isn’t breaking the bank for me either.
@@jbreakstone sure. I didnt say EVERYONE lol
why ppl have to explain to me when I even put it in the comments
unless you truly care about ANC and just hate the seal
for me I wanted to get AirPods 4 coz I hate the seal but I only have a MagSafe charger in my car (as I keep my AirPods in my car so I can wear them when I go out and won't forget them and still be able to charge them

The audio mixing for this video is weird. Is this just me? It sounds like he's talking through his nose. There seems to be no low end. Hmm 🧐
Not an audio engineer but a producer, and i hear it too. I think it may be his actual microphone and he just didn’t adjust anything in post
Well explain 👍🏻
The standard 4s should be compared to the 3s. I hated the way the 3s sounded. I much prefer the 2s. The 3s sounded hollow and dialogue/vocals didn’t seem as clear and the bass didn’t seem to go as deep.
there was literally no bass in them
@@mustafakaraman3610 Yes there was. The 3s had too much bass.
@@dperr338 idk i did every setting to feel the bass but there wasn’t 🤷🏻♂️ im glad i’ve lost them and will be getting 4’s with anc
@@mustafakaraman3610 If you are expecting to “feel” bass out of little ear buds without a proper seal then there is something wrong with you.
@@mustafakaraman3610 Overall sound better with the 2s. 3s suck they sound hollow and not clear but very sibilant
No one is actually saying, is the music quality better than the AirPod 3s as in more bass. The biggest fault I find is as they do not fit the ear perfectly they are bass light, unless you hold them in, so are the 4s and better. All the rest is just icing. Headphones with music period is the main function and all I really care about, I can take my Hifi and wired headphones to work so these need to be good as possible. Years ago I had a Sony cassette Walkman, a minidisc player, a Dat all with those Sony on ear wired headphones that sounded better than anything I’ve had in ear wireless. All the AirPods, except the pro’s that are on order but I’m not big into tipsas the fit has never work for me. I will try them, over the ear sennheiser momentum’s have all been great for sound quality the latest 4s being a bit muffled overall but this type of headphone is to much walking around in public for me, I work for Royal Mail I need something ultra portable, waterproof and a true Hifi sound, Walkman was released in 1979 that’s 49 years ago for god sake. In nearly half a century all the advancements in tech is amazing but headphones really not so much lots of hype to make you all buy, I want AirPods 4 anc to do the job and I’ll get them to try and hope one will fit the bill. But we need someone like Stevejobs on the case. That guys a legend and a true innovator.
Ordered. Thanks.
I still use the original design AirPods because I can lay down and use them with Apple TV
I have the previous AirPods Pro with ANC. The first time I used it on a flight and used the ANC I was hugely disappointed. That was the primary reason I need ANC. I bought a Bose over the ear headset for the return flight and got the result I wanted. I think any review of AirPods with ANC needs to compare them to over the ear headsets.
REALLY
ANYONE SHOULD KNOW
THEY ARE NOT THE SAME 😂
AN EXTRA $100 or $200 SAYS IT ALL
Will the ANC on the AirPods 4 be enough to drown out the sound of a screaming baby on a flight to a tolerable level?
It struggles at higher frequencies. Unless you’re playing music concurrently, it’s not gonna do too much.
Make it more hearable removing other noise probably-)
