What about these Ambient Light Rejections screens, They are normally Silver or Darker grey. Not sure of the materials. Apparently you can watch movies/series on them even in daylight. Get proper colours etc. Images are slightly dimmer than on a White screen but its fully watchable during daytime.
You can gently use a fabric steamer to drop some creases out of cheaper projection screens - not pro ones please. I used a travel one about £30 a can do your shirts as well on holiday (remember those) etc.
Well no, but that's the case for most projectors if I'm honest. Even the top quality ones still need it to be at least somewhat dark to be able to see them properly.

I bought a cheap screen and a photography backdrop stand it was cheaper and worked well
