- 2016 Harley Davidson V-Rod Muscle - Test Ride and Review
This is the brand new 2016 Harley Davidson V-Rod Muscle. I perform an indepth walk around, and explain the key features and the riding experience, and rev the engine to hear what it sounds like. I film this in the Industrial location of South San Francisco.

im lovin that exhaust
superb....
What's the backgrounds music ! I can't here the reviews ...
so what would u say comparing it to street glide?
+1bojanbojan i like the Street Glide better, more fun to ride, easier to ride, and more truer to the Harley core than this one, just my opinion
what song is it you play in the background?
hey sailor 👍
What song is this? The bass line is killer.
+Brad Bradington hey Brad, its Hey Sailor
Are you sure you dont work for Harley? Great vid by the way
+5664788 thanks, i work in a totally different field in Silicon Valley
actually glad everyone hates on these bikes. i hate seeing dudes with my bike...ha
+derek lindberg it takes a man to ride this bike, its unique
yeah people hate them because they will out perform almost every cruiser out there including their own .. only two CRUISER bikes are faster from 0 -60 mph ... the vmax and the honda valkyrie , which by the way have massively more horsepower ... now the ducati duval devil will also be faster but i dont even consider it a cruiser ... MY vrod rocks ..i have the 2016 and put vance/hines exhaust on it along with windsheild , sound system and more ... Eat you heart out boys , because that's what you truly are --- BOYS , takes a real man to ride the ROD ... and yup , i agree , it's not even close to your typical HARLEY .... SO WHAT , who cares .... and have a nice day ... when i blow past you at 120 mph , and yes , i have done this speed already with ease , then you can eat my dust
@@WaldoWizard Agreed. After 40 yrs XL riding, bought a 2016 Night Rod. No throwback technology or nostalgia trip for me. The VR would have made an excellent sport touring model too.
I have been wanting a V rod muscle lately but the more I research the bike the less I want it. There's just too many negatives about it.
+areyouready22 yep i think you can do better for your hard earned money
+SanFrancisco Riderr Yes, thanks.... What do you think of the Ducati Diavel?
Dont base your decision on other peoples opinions as opinions vary and some can be biased. Take the bikes for a ride and YOU be the judge. The v rods are more technically advanced than other cruisers on the market, the liquid cooled engine is very reliable.the NightRod handles better than the Muscle, so take both for a ride and ride the competion as well so you can make an informed decision based your preferences. I have a saying, "ride what you like and like what you ride". Ride safe.
+Dragan M Thanks for the advice. I did test drive one and although it was very exhilarating and fun to ride, the negatives outweighed the positives by far. At 53 years old I found the riding position incredibly uncomfortable and would not last in that position for more than an hour or so before having to stop. I last longer riding my Honda CBR1000RR. The pegs on the Muscle were also too low and I would imagine they scrape the road on tight turns. Access to the fuel tank is not good. The handling is great but only if you are going in a straight line. The exhaust system sticks out and can easily burn your legs. Also, this may be a bit petty but the license plate location is just down right ugly and annoying. I also went and test drove a Ducati Diavel and that thing drove and rode like a dream. What a machine!
I found similar experience on the Muscle as you did. I preferred the Night Rod Specials riding position and the handling was also much better. If you prefer the Ducati, then thats what you should get. Enjoy and ride safe.
GOOD JOB MY NIGGA
I never have liked the looks of the V-Rod, I can't believe they are still making these...
Yeah, I'm not sure who rides them, I rarely ever see one on the road...
Only real man ride these unique beasts.
nearly 17k for a bike wit only 130hp that's almost 1300cc? that's ok ill pass
