Went to the SPAM museum in Austin, MN last year. It was AWESOME! Historical, Patriotic, Fun and yummy.... I loved the Teriyaki and Chorizo flavors (the staff brings out different flavors for the guests to taste as you are visiting). Highly recommend a tour....

I slice spam thinly and pan fry it till crispy brown on both sides...then I warm up two flour tortillas in microwave..put some fried spam prices and add thinly sliced tomatoes and lettuce and spread mayonnaise on top and roll tortillas up and you have a yummy tortillas blt wrap or two...very yummy indeed☺💜

Doing just one piece at time, dip the piece into dry corn starch and put it immediately into the hot oil for a short time. Remove from the oil and drain on a paper towel. Repeat until you have enough. The restaurant served spam fries that were coated with cornstarch mixed with egg. It was a thicker coating than the first procedure. Strikingly yummy.
Inexplicably, Spam Tocino is sold in my small Canadian city. The Filipino population here is somewhere between negligible and non-existent, but I am happy that I can get this product. It is delicious. Other than Classic and low-sodium, none of the other variations are available locally at retail.

I have loved Spam for over 60 years. I always liked Classic but as I got older it was pretty salty so now I eat the lower sodium. I like to slice it and either grill it or cook it in a skillet . With eggs or french toast. And it is yummy fried crispy with some maple syrup. Every time I open a can to cook I always slice a nice thick piece to eat right out of the can. I will try the Hickory smoke and PS if I can find them near me.
The Roasted Turkey is definitley different from the original turkey spam they had decades agoi which was very good. Used to make an awesome sandwich out of it: white bread, turkey spam (Not cooked), mayo, american cheese, and sliced fresh habenero peppers. its absolutley delicious.

There is a video showing how to lower the sodium. Pre-slice using the small wire meat slicer. Boil the sliced Spam for 5 minutes. Turn off heat and cover for 5 additional minutes. Then fry and enjoy! (I haven't tried this yet).

Just try this before you comment. Walmart sells Great Value Luncheon Meat . The ingredients are basically the same as Spam and it looks and taste identical. The big difference is the price. Spam is $3.38 a can , Great Value is $2.28 .

You can just choup the original spam and then soak it in water for 10/15 minutes and that will get rid of some of the salt

Just buy a Turkey. 10 cans of spam would cost $35. Plus it taste like dog shit. Not that I ever taste dog shit but if I was to guess it would be the same.
Im 62 and have Never liked Spam UNTIL I tried the one you say is the #1 worst (Turkey). I fry it up and eat it with mashed potatoes & gravy MMmmm good. 👍👍
Just try this before you comment. Walmart sells Great Value Luncheon Meat . The ingredients are basically the same as Spam and it looks and taste identical. The big difference is the price. Spam is $3.38 a can , Great Value is $2.28 .

Black pepper spam tastes awful. Imagine pouring half a bottle of black pepper on regular spam. The only thing you taste is pepper!

I love Spam. But I have to eat it cold. I hate hot Spam and you can beat me and beg me, but I will never eat it hot. And you are 100% correct about turkey spam--it is disgusting.
