They have so many great songs, it's literally uncanny: Watching and Waiting, The Tide Rushes In, Dawning Is The Day , The Voice, Saved By The Music. Then, you have two members of the band Justin Haywood (sings most of their songs) and John Lodge (bassist) as the Blue Jays with, Forever Autumn, Blue Guitar, This Morning, I Dreamed Last Night, etc.
I grew up listening to the Moody Blues My brothers played their albums on a scratchy mono record player Luckily I inherited their affection for the songs Have always loved this one Driftwood, Question,New Horizons and many others Timeless and some stunningly good music Try them!
Music for the soul. Also look into the "Blue Jays" which is when the Moodies broke up for a period of time and Justin Hayward and John Lodge wrote some other beautiful songs in a similar style.
Written & sung by Justin Hayward from 'Days of future passed' their first album release with their new lineup!(Denny Laine was the origional lead singer, but left to join Paul McCartney's 'Wings')this was the first album released in the new 'stereo' format!& arguably the first 'concept' album!,it portrays the times of day!,it is worth checking out the history of how 'Days' came about, interesting history!😊
❤ I believe that this was the first album of popular music to be recorded in stereo. So glad you liked it.
What a fantastic album!!!
Both songs are a part of the thematic album Days of Future Passed, which covers a whole day from morning to night.
Loved it.
Ahhhh -- The Moody Blues "Days of Future Past" album. You could go down the rabbit hole on their first five albums and really enjoy the ride.
