love your reactions! I am 64 years old and this was music of my time, and timeless. I am happy that you will carry on the the joy of listening to the Moody Blues powerful music in the younger generation. Listen to "New horizons" or "My lady" from 7th Sojourn. I think you will enjoy these songs too. Looking forward to your reactions pretty lady!
I would not dare to even dream of disagreeing with you that this and they are a work of art. I pretty well memorized by heart their holy seven. Glad to see you resonate. Terima Kasih.
Do we have high level performance videos made like this anymore. The musicians are highly enthusiastic, each of them was exceptionally well groomed and dressed. Their expressions are intent on giving their best performance. Huge kudos to the production team that filmed this performance. If contemporary bands need inspiration today, there you go!!
This song is about weathering the Trials and Tribulations, and the Ups and the Downs that life throws our way. Nobody goes through life void of at least some challenges. The key here is not to be too far up or down; choosing to find a middle ground from which to operate. That way, you have room and flexibility to move in one direction or the other without "Putting All Of Your Eggs In 1 Basket." A See-Saw goes up and down in the same manner. You don't want to get caught at the top or bottom of it. On top, you may fall; on the bottom, you may never get back up again. MASTERS OF SYMBOLISM'S!!!! I love music that actually teaches me something so that I can be a better, more open to growth, and understanding the lesson here without head-banging noise. Sadly a lot of music does just that; smacking you in the face with empty words and unnecessary noise.😀😀😀😀
Hi Elok. I’m not a subscriber yet, but I experienced the Moodies in my twenties and their poetic lyrics and musical mastery heavily influenced my thinking and my life. As an aside I’ll impulsively suggest listening to Spooky Tooth: I’ve got enough heartaches.
They are in that 'Hall of Fame', but the only people who likely care about that organisation are some Americans (so not even all of them). There has been evidence they were blacklisted in the past and so considered not 'cool' enough, but it looked ridiculous so they had to back down and admit them.
Hi Elok I'm a new subscriber. I was 12 when that album came out and saw The Moody Bles a couple of times in concert! I love when you young people discover all of media we grew up with BC (Before Computers). I have two request I know you will like, First a comedy duo Abbott and Costello "Who's On First" and the album In The Court Of The Crimson King and the song The Court Of The Crimson King. There are other tracks you will like too. Keep up the good work!

So glad you're doing these kind of beautiful bands in the for front.
They had great ways of introducing their albums. Procession/The Story in Your Eyes from the Every Good Boy Deserves Favour album is really good.

Love this band--and love this song!

I saw them several times and their live performances were great every time.
they were inducted into the Hall of Fame years ago

The entire album is great. I've been listening to it since it was released and it was one of my favorite "tripping" albums back in the day.

And, as a teenager of at the time, I wonder how I projected my all my mental whatever to all these innocent bystanders

You should hear their song 'Late lament.'

In the Court of the Crimson King is a fascinating song, great dynamics.
LOVE the King!!I've thought about requesting it. I have to believe my request's will always be good for Elok's channel, not just because I like it.
