    Those blue light filtering glasses, I don't think they're making you see weird reflections. You might wanna try toning down the Starbucks Double Espresso shot cans a bit. I chugged two of those back to back once, and I was seeing sounds man. SOUNDS!
    Wait, you said no stupid posts... will get deleted and blocked... Awww man :( What if because we are excited to post something funny and stupid because we enjoyed the video so much? :) I think you're awesome man, you and your wife. I've learned so much from your videos that I actually enjoy washing and detailing my cars now.

    37:35 Dear car manufactures, why do you guys make our lives so much more difficult to clean glass?
    I have seen so many methods to clean hard to reach glass but its always the same issue of having to wipe at an awkward angle. Ive tried the Stoners Glass Cleaning Wand, but even that I have trouble cleaning really dirty glass on the back of Sedans and Windshields of Sport Coops. Glad you introduced the mitt method, gonna have to give this a shot myself. Sending love from SoCal! ;)

    I applied Crystal Serum Light 3 years ago on my 16 Accord , the preperation work is the most important and can be very time consuming . As a weekend warrior it took me 14 hours doing it alone with just a finishing polish to clean the paint . Customers need to understand that to get the expected results it is time consuming , labor intensive and this is why it is an expensive but great option for the ultimate in paint protection.

    Excellent job!! love the great tip on interior mirror cleaning - awesome!! :-) i was kind of waiting to see how you polished the chrome front, since it's big it was a good opportunity to film that as well. I dont see many detailers to show us that. a bit disappointed there. but i had no trouble to watch the whole 46 min video because it's always educational, you take us through the process, talk us through it, explain, not just boring video of cleaning the same routine inside and outside just for a show. great job Phil, thank you for taking the time to make these videos!!! :-)

    Great video!!! CSL is a great coating! So easy. Did you top it with anything? Do you feel it last any longer with EXO on top? That Yukon is identical to ours! That red is beautiful when cleaned up! Your pad washer is very similar to what I use to do. I splurged and bought the Lake Country. I feel it actually sped up my process and gets the pads cleaner. Thank you for the video!

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi thanks! Yes it is! I learned from Gtechniq that it’s unnecessary to top CSL with EXOv4 right away. It can be applied a few year down the road when CSL starts to loose it’s hydrophobic layer. I do top it with C2v3 after the 24h however.

    • @MirandaDetailing

      Hi Thanks! Yeah we love our cordless!! We will top with EXOv4 if the customer requests it and pays extra. • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hi.
      The chrome is. We so we polished it just as we did the paint with Dr beasleys NSP 45 and used CSL on it. Here is the maintenance detail on it a year later. And even to this day and out 3 years later it’s still preforming like day one. The plastic trim still looks great but plastic trim coatings only last about 2-3 years and same goes with wheels. So at some point I expect those to start to show signs of wear.

    I tried the Vision Protect glass coating and new wipers and the wipers chatter across the windshield like crazy in the rain. Cleaned windshield with invisible glass, machine polished with glass polish and glass polishing pad, cleaned again with invisible glass, then used the Vision Protect prep towelette, then the coating and finally a new set of Bosch Icon wiper blades. Rained 3 days after and the wipers chatter across the windshield. So annoying and very disappointed in Vision Protect.

    Hi phil, I had a friend who had his vehicle ceramic coated. The thing is I noticed that bug guts and rail dust still stick to his paint? I thought coatings prevented this or am I wrong?

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi. How often is the vehicle washed and maintained? Does it sit outside or in a garage? There are many misconceptions about coatings. They are basically a “higher form” of protection, but certainly nothing bulletproof. Stuff will still stick to it, but it will be much easier to wash and maintain then any traditional waxes or sealants.

      Hi. I enjoy using both Cquartz and Gtechniq coatings. The CSL is rated as a 3-5 year coating. But at the 3 year mark it usually needs an application of EXOv4 to extend it. That’s how Gtechniq explained it to me.
      After CSL we also top it with C2V3 after the 24h initial cure.

    Hey man i have a question. I watched your video on removing sand and stuff from the interiour. But no matter how much i scrubbed and used the drill brush the sand and stuff wouldnt get out of the carpet
    It was a renault twingo soo the quality of the carpet is shit but how do you handel that?

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi. Sand is one of the worst things to remove, in my case the sand is never 100% removed. We get it to an acceptable degree and call it. We always communicate with the customer and let them know that sand and dog hair is very difficult to remove 100% and there may be some that can't be removed. Basically lots of brushing and tamping of the carpets will bring the sand to the surface and it takes lots of vacuuming. it simply takes time.

    • @rickvh0195
      @rickvh0195 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MirandaDetailing yes thats what i had today with a customer but somehow i just feel bad that i couldnt give a better result.
      But would an extractor not get all the sand out? With the proper shampoos ofcourse

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No an extractor doesn’t pull sand that well. Saturating the carpets with chemical or water doesn’t really help. It’s better to keep it dry, drill brush, tamp, and vacuum as much as possible. But honestly as detailers we have to learn to draw the line and stop it and when we realize it’s a loosing battle. We could be wasting time and money on those jobs unfortunately.
