Hey Ruski, I wanna do the timing chain, guide and tensioner and oil pan gasket. Should I do it in the car or would it be easier to pull the motor out and do it?
If you have a lift and the tools I would definitely pull it out. It’s doable with out pulling the motor but you’re limited on the space. Even if you remove motor mounts and lift motor as high as you can it’s still a bit tight. I also prefer the motor upside down to prevent left over oil dripping on the Hondabond when installing oil pan. Something to keep in mind.
so i just got mine and i’m a bit confused with the water cooling… so you have to T those banjo fitting things into a coolant line? does it matter which lines they go into? is one side input and one side is output?
Use the throttle body 5/16 lines. Garret turbo recommends you have your inlet lower and your outlet higher on the turbo. You might have to rotate your turbo just a bit.
@@RuskiRedneck thanks for the info! I actually have a k20z3 civic si which has the rbc intake and the throttle body is in a different spot.. also I think it doesn't have any lines on it? idk it's been a while since I had it together I'll have to see. Anyway, thanks !

Did u still use the oem check valve in the brake booster line with the one way valve you added for the boost problem ?
Yes. Once installed my hard brakes went away in boost.

bov has been holding just fine. 20-25psi without any issues.

It’s running oil and water.

I ran both journal and dual BB on water. Current turbo is dual ball bearing.

Down pipe is custom. Wastegate is a tial 44mm

you should delete the coolant pipe from thermostat housing gave me more space on my build
If you’re talking about the metal one. It’s not really in my way and I’m using it for cooling the turbo.
Your intercooler kit and the cxracing correct?
Yes. Will be upgrading to 3in soon but works great for under 500hp
