But I went with the cxracing kit and god was it awful. Downpipe didn’t fit what so ever. The log manifold was shit. Then the wastegate took a shit. Then it was a pain in the ass to get under the car to remove the wastegate. Finally I went with tial BOV and tial WG and then I finally bent a valve. So I just rebuilt my head and I’m slowly piecing it back together. I also changed to sidewinder now so I’m excited to see when I get it back together how much power it makes. I don’t want to go over 350whp cause I hear the auto trannys don’t hold up around that power
So many joins on that intercooler piping, I'd run a genuine wastegate (When they fail, they either don't boost or more commonly over boost and unless you have boost cut setup, it'll take out your motor)Why not use a cheap fuel rail and spend the saving on the wastegate. the other thing I always buy genuine is the fuel pressure regulator

That was the plan on running the CX racing piping and intercooler, was going to potentially run the log manifold but from another guy it’s a really tight fit and the turbo I want wouldn’t end up fitting lol. Might just get the plm sidewinder and have the welds touched up perfect any potential cracking.

Thank you! It’s a red carbon fiber wrap. I think I’m going to attempt to hydro dip instead. The wrap looks good for the most part except on some of the hard corners
Depends on the power level you’re going for. 400hp should be fine with a good tune and fuel system. 500hp I’d go e85. Anything over I’d build the block sleeves pistons rods and head and run e85 1500-2000cc injectors 450walbro fuel pump.
The car hasn’t hit the dyno yet. My guess is low to mid 400s. There’s still some fine tuning that could be done on the dyno so I’m keeping the boost and limiter down for now.
I would get hondata flashpro, so you can have some fun while you start piecing up your kit (turbo, manifold, ic, pipings, injectors, oil feel and return lines, and lastly you prob want to upgrade your oil pump to k20a2 oil pump).
You know I never actually calculated that. The mph gauge on the cluster reads wrong now that I’m turbod. Not sure why but it says I get like 60mpg🤣 I’ve got a Heavy foot so I’m burning thru some fuel.
@@SoulEraser000 because the tsx auto trans doesn’t handle power too well. Supercharger gives power more gradually. Kinda eases into it. Where as a turbo will kick in later and a lot harder causing a lot of stress to the trans.
Hello! I am buying the cx turbo kit and I have a few questions. I currently have RDX 410cc injectors. I won’t be running too much boost so is it ok if I can keep those injectors and not use an aftermarket fuel pump, fuel return, and fuel rail?
You will need bigger injectors unless you are running like 2-3psi. Talk to your tuner You might be okay with your set up for a bit. But it’s always better to have plenty of fuel.
Holy sheeit that was one hell of a punch from 50 to 100 in like 3 seconds. Very impressive gain.
Thankfully I didn’t have to change out my clutch! I turbocharged my automatic tsx and it came out amazing. 14psi and 320whp
Right on! I didn’t have good luck turbo charging my auto. Kept getting trans code and after changing everything I could I gave up and went manual.

Guys running the cast manifold with a t3 precision 56 or 57 and said was already a tight fit.

Yes you can. Several people have successfully done it
