Hi Colin, another great tutorial. I'm much like you, have been using Photoshop since 1983 first as a die-hard Mac guy but switched to Win10 a while back and simply can't justify the Apple Tax any longer or Apple's quest for world domination by telling folks to buy a new laptop when it could easily be fixed but, I digress. Keep up the great work!

I'm a convert. Worked in Windows all my corporate life (no graphic design) then switched to Apple for my personal business. I bought the top-of-the-line MacBook Pro last year (2018) and love it. It does overheat so I use two door stops under the back to lift the machine and get more air to it. That seems to work fine. I use an LG monitor when designing at home. Funny thing though, I went from a Samsung phone to an iPhone and couldn't wait for the dang thing to break so I could go back to a Samsung. I love the Mac products but hate the iPhone! Thanks for the great content, I'm learning a lot from you!

Great tutorial Colin, now I wish I could afford to keep using CC, I have had to go back to CS for all my work as the expense of CC was just too much right now. I do realize that most of what you did was the same regardless, but it is a bit easier in CC. As for Apple vs PC, I am a PC person but I can use an Apple if needed. My experience has been that the PC is a bit faster in some tasks, though the Apple tends to be more accurate in color reproduction, mainly due to the high dollar GPU's in the Apples as compared to general consumer grade GPU's that tend to go into PC's.

I love this tutorial. I am going to try something like this. I am currently using my 17 inch HP Envy, I like the computer but I also like to have the MacOS for my Graphics projects like Adobe Creative Cloud. I finally got an I-Phone and I am enjoying it. I am going to wait till June 3rd, to see what is coming, maybe Apple will have the new Mac Pro, and a new display to go with it. I have seen videos on the new 6K display, wow. I also want to see the IOS 13, and MacOS 10.15. Eventually, when the newer models come out, hopefully, with the new ARM chips which I heard Apple is planning to transition to in the next year, maybe now for the MacBook Pro's. Even if I get a Mac (don't know which model yet), I do want to keep my HP, Windows. I also want to get an I-Pad, but will wait till after June 3rd, in case there is a new I-Pad Pro. I hope for all who want a Mac Pro that it will be out soon, possibly with the ARM chips, and upgradeable, and to go with the new 6K Display.

Hello sir! I have learned alot about Photoshop for the past 2 months since I started watching your tutorials which are easy to understand, and you explain them really well. Keep making these kinds of videos, most especially tutorials. Btw sir, Mac is not user friendly, Windows is still the preferred OS/user interface to date. And whenever I use Photoshop CS5, there are some selections/commands in Mac that cant be found on Windows. 😊

Was PC back in the day and switched to Mac just after the iPod came along. Now I've just gone back to PC as Mac is failing to justify the rather obscene pricing with equivalent features, power, and quality. Windows OS still buggy and drives me nuts at times, but it's much better than it once was. BTW, the hardware is now a Dell XPS 15 and it's great!

I switched from PC to Mac about 10 years ago. I wanted all my devices to be compatible (iPad, iPhone, Apple TV, and Mac). Also, back then the majority of people that used their computers for graphic work preferred, or insisted upon, using Apple rather than Windows. I still love the Apple OS/iOS and their hardware, though not as much as I did when I first got it and everything ran fast and flawlessly. It’s all become slower and more glitchy over the years. My main disappointment when switching from PC to Mac was the infuriatingly horrible production software (Apple Mail, Pages, Numbers, etc.). I thought I’d get used to it and learn to love it. I was wrong. I detest the Apple software as much today as the day I started using it.

Sorry, I got lost on the brushes. I could not figure out how you change a brush from white to black. I watched and re-watched what you did several times, and I could not turn my brush from black to white or reverse. As such, I could not paint out the layer underneath. Another time, please go more slowly and cover each step. This was quite frustrating for me. I just wanted to combine two layers, taking the properly exposed feature from one. It couldn't do it with your video. Perhaps it is because my Photoshop is set up differently or is a slightly different version. It is March 2020 and I am using the latest version.
