Thank you for a fantastic tutorial. Your creativity has no bounds. I have learnt so much today especially on blending, masking, gradient and especially the text effects.
Great tutorial on building a collage, the gradient tool made a nice blend, I'm excited and going to make a collage. Thanks for helping us out and for your clear and pleasant voice.
Colin, this was fun learning and you explained it well. Will try it sometime for sure. As always, you are the best tutor and am grateful for these tutorials. All the best, always, to you. Regards.
thank you so much i do have a question I have a picture of my granddaughter holding her hands up in the sky making a heart with her hands but the background is bad! can you help me? I can send you a pic if you would like.
Good tutorial Colin! I've used all of these techniques at one time or the other, but never put them together like this. This opens a whole new way of looking at the way to do things that I'll be able to do in the future.
Really useful just what I needed. What I like about your tutorials is, you don't gabble like some. I can take in and understand the information when watching your videos far easier. Well done
Great tutorial with presentation at a perfect pace. Some instructors go way too fast and make it hard, or even impossible, for me to follow. Thank you so much.
This was really awesome! But I have a question... In this tutorial, you stacked up 3 files. What if I want to use more than 3 files, say 4 or 5 files stacked. How do I go about that?
Hi Colin, Thanks so much for this great tutorial. I did need some help however with the gradient tool. When I tried to blend the hard edges of the individual images (I used 5) of my collage, the gradient tool either turned the whole of an image black or it left only a pixel layer where the image had been. I probably need a whole tutorial on the gradient tool as I am unfamiliar with it, and then trying to decide which image I should start from with the gradient tool and which way to drag it ...well suffice to say with all the multiple edges to blend together I ran into trouble and ended up using the brush tools to smudge the edges instead. Also a very basic question, I didn't know how to bring in the overlay layer to finish off into the same workspace. In the end I re-imported all my image layers along with the texture layer I was going to use at the same time, and working with that layer switched off until I was ready to use it.
I have a question about PS, but it's not related to this webinar, which I learned a lot about Collage. Is there a set number of brushes you are allowed to have in PS? I ask because the Import Brushes is grayed out on my PS cc and I don't know why. I appreciate any help you can offer me. Also, do you have any tutorials on how to set up libraries, for example Textures, Fonts, etc.
There shouldn't be a limit.Bear in mind, Photoshop will take longer to start up the more assets there are loading. I have done a couple of live streams and some tutorials on managing assets and brushes.
@@photoshopcafe Well I can't load anymore brushes, but I will look for your live streams and tutorials on managing assets and brushes. I knew you were the right person to ask. Thank you!

Hi, great Vid. I'm looking to put two images side by side, and blend the edge so it's not a straight line. What mode would you suggest?

Awesome Video!!!
Amazing!
when I used the gradient, it just went from black to white instead of actually blending them
I had same problem
I learned some things. Thanks
Good job - love it 👍
You are a great artist. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. 🙏🙏🙏
P.S. Watching one of your videos, I liked the Wacom Intuos pro M and bought it. I feel great.
Great tutorial, thank you so much for your time Colin. I want to blend wedding pictures together for a Facebook ad and this will help a lot. Just a quick question, is there a way to use the gradient on two sides of a photo?
I struggled with that also. If you're working on a white mask, change the blend mode of the gradient tool from normal to darken.
Learned a Ton!!!
thanks for the skill
Excellent
Loved the video. Thanks 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
thnks, it helps a lot
Love this
