Blending is a task I regularly undertake & today you've given me some fantastic tips to achieving even better results. Thanks again Colin, I really appreciate the effort you put into these tutorials!
I enjoy making composites, but didn't know about most of these methods. Looking forward to having more fun!! Thanks so much, too, for your precise, clear delivery in these tuts. Cheers!
It was an excellent idea to blend two images into one by using these techniques. Blendif, layer mask. Learning the basic concept behind each technique is imperative as its enhances one's confidence to freely use these tools and techniques to work on images with variations of tone and colours. Keep up the good work. 👍🌈
Going to be trying these bits out I’ve only really started using photoshop I’ve been a lightroom user and blanked PS thinking I can get by without it but loving all the effects and composites that can be done. Find all your videos lately really useful as I understand PS a lot more. Cheers Colin
This was fantastic thank you...you have made me realize that anything is possible.....I must admit though that I still think PS is so difficult and SO MANY TH-cam tutorials leave bits out and teach as though we already know, but this wass really good thank you....
Thanks for the combining of 2 photos. What if I want to ADD two related photos, side by side? HOW DO YOU EXTEND THE WORK AREA? So if 2 photos are say 4 inches lengthwise, how to see a total work length of 8 inches??
NOBODY shows how to get the 2 images into Ps in the first place. I've been using ON1, but I'm starting to use Ps. 2020, but I'm not familiar with it. 2 images don't open the same way in Ps.
@@erniebiggs8343 - I'm with you there! At 70 years old I still enjoy learning new things - or new ways to do things I enjoy. But the memory ain't what it used to be, for sure! I keep a small notebook of "How To" with tabs for LR, PS, Powtoon, Etsy, Mac, etc. with these steps. Even for types of screenshots on my Mac, which seems easy to remember, but I have 'those' moments when nothing gets thru the fog! Keeps me going and keeps me productive. BTW, he is so clear, so precise without a lot of chatter, so he works perfectly for my method.

Welcome
You make it look so easy but when I am doing it myself I think what the heck did he say to do here. Maybe someday.
You can slow down the playback speed in the settings :)
@@photoshopcafe Slowing it down will not speed up my memory or make it longer lasting.
