Thanks Tony. Not really an expert by any sense of the word, but I just keep at it until I get it right. (OJL - On the Job Learning). Keeps me out of the old folks home.
I went through timing. and carburetor today and got it running, but I'm not happy. I remember that when I replaced the crank seals I had a lot of trouble getting one to seat and I'm concerned that I may have damaged it. I don't think they were OEM seals. Oh well, I love replacing crank seals. I do it nice 'cause I do it twice.
This'll be a great watch. That's a really sharp looking orange. I've got a '75 but it's a long ways from yours. Has tank, frame, bars and engine and not much else. Was locked up when I got it but freed up now. Haven't done anything else to it yet. Doing the parts search now and they're hard to come by. I let a running 73 with title get snapped up before I could get ahold of owner

Super looking bike Jack. Looking forward to the journey. If Dale did the cylinder, it will be good to go!
Best wishes, Dean.

A cool bike. See you on the next video brother.
Great video and bike. I’ve got a 74 as well. Ended up buying a 75 for some parts. Great tip on the paint to match the Virginia Gold.
I forgot to mention the 3 coats of SprayMax 2K clear gloss over the top.

@@rc5693 That’s about the same as where I started, but some of those hard to find pieces are getting ridiculous in price. Good luck.
Three year project off and on, there are previous videos for the curious.
And a lot of mistakes and learning for me along the way.
