Hey Aryan, that is a GREAT suggestion - I will do soon as that is VITAL! I have one that kindof addresses good closure (the Straw Technique - SOVT one) .... any SOVT exercises help but I will do a separate one in the near future to address specifically! Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment - appreciate you!!! 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
Thanks! Really pericing tone there JC, seems to me that a sharp tone is everything, even more than range. Would you cover this more? ( even when I fully unzip my mouth I still don't sound like Rob Halford...)
Hi Brendan, sure thing - the nasal resonance is key to extending range (but you have to balance to get a warmer tone so not to sound TOO nasaly, which can be difficult depending on your natural tone)
Whenever I sing in “ chest voice” , my throat hurts and I strain. It’s only higher in my voice that I’m comfortable. Trying to navigate between the two is a nightmare. I’ve been trying just to modify everything I sing to my own comfortable place, which is the high tenor area.
There is a release that needs to happen to sing 'freely' with the 'chest resonance' so you don't get caught in throat strain. Many of my newer videos cover these. Also my 'singing support secrets' (free) course should help you!
the enunciation thing I have been using with some success for some time, still, most times I gradually go back to tensioning, not as much as it used to be, but enough to throw me off at times
It throws me off sometimes too, we are ALL human, and I also have to remind myself... we all can forget things, but the more we make them 'second nature' the easier it gets... Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment!!! 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
Great and very helpful video l!
Glad to hear it helped - means a lot to me, it's my honor to serve! :) Appreciate you for taking the time to watch and comment!!! 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
Thank you for this valuable lesson. I have a request, could you do a lesson on how to develop good vocal cord closure? That would be a real treat 😁
