Some polite tips: turn the radio off when you're recording; and make sure you have good light on the area you're working on. You have a lot of good experience to pass along, these suggestions would help make sure it gets through to your audience.
FYI, Poulan will send you a free cover to replace the "tool-less" one that wouldn't keep the chain tight on my saw. It's a standard cover with two nuts and adjustment screw like most saws have.
Thanks Hubjeep for the tip! I realize this thread is a year old, and todays date at the time of this reply is 5/17/2019.I've had my saw about 6 years, and its always performed well. But I've hated that "tool-less" cover from the get go.So with your tip I contacted Poulan, and spoke with Jason. He didn't offer a free replacement, and he said he'd never heard of it before, except for the fact that someone else like me, awhile back asked the same questions I had.Nice video Lester, thank you, you and others like you doing these videos will make, America Great Again! Honesty, it's the best policy...
Because it uses an impulse line and rubber intake boot from the intake side to the carburetor. These are nice saws if taken care of and treated properly.
When you remove the nut on the front of the muffler, that plate will come off with a screen behind it, to reveal 2 bolts. Remove those 2 bolts to remove the muffler
