Adam may have stolen hardware from work, but Shea stole the show this episode. I love how she went from staying out of the way in the beginning, to getting right in the thick of it with the boys throwing jabs left and right by the end.

This was so much fun to watch. Adam’s “victory dance” right at the beginning was gold, and Shea is a treasure, not at all shy about mocking Adam (or Linus), but ultimately totally supportive and so charismatic on camera. Hire her as a presenter before somebody else does!

I don't normally leave a comment but I know linus or the team read a lot of these, just wanted to say the editing on this video is a step above so much other content on TH-cam and is a new bar for you guys, the chemistry in this video is great and it's great to help the audiance appreciate the whole lmg team

This entire video series (both Intel and AMD) is probably my favourite ever YT series. They're the type of videos you can actually go back and watch a few months down the road simply because of how interesting they are. Plus the chemistry that all parties had in this one made the video the best I've seen out of nearly all LTT videos.
This has by far been the funniest, most wholesome and enjoyable episode of LTT. Adam, Shea, and Linus all have great chemistry. Definitely agree this is sitcom-level material. 😄 We need more of this!

@@JXHNDRX 5K is chump change in this world. But yes, LTT is _definitely_ getting more than just the cost of the hardware from them for the sponsored vids. You'd be surprised to see what brands spend just to get their name out there. At least on this particular advertisement it was a branded thing where the cpu can at least be _some_ kind of focus. ...Many brands spend hundreds of thousands or even millions just to get their logo in the background on a tv. You might think that Intel doesn't have to advertise, but they do. Just like CocaCola has to advertise. A lot of times it's not about introducing you to a new brand, it's just about keeping their brand in your subconscious mind. And that's why a lot of people think Intel dropped the ball here (and why AMD lapped it up). You also might notice a lot of advertising for enterprise brands nowadays. They aren't advertising to the masses, they're advertising to the execs and the buyers and IT people who actually make the decisions at that level. And it's worth it to them to advertise something that 99% of people aren't even going to know about, just to get that smidgen that does.
6:50 a major feature of our living room is a custom built media/display cabinet that was built to accommodate a large mid 90’s CRT… that was replaced with the largest flat-screen Bravia that would fit. Now a 60” flat screen on a VESA arm is covering the spot where the TV was, and the space behind holds the physical media collection in deep storage.
This was the single most fun, absolutely hilarious episode of Ultimate/Extreme Tech Upgrade ever. Adam, Shae and Linus have hilarious chemistry in such a tiny room. This was a wild ride that feels like an improv sketch comedy. Loved this episode. LTT with top quality content.

Protip: get one of those Really Useful Storage towers with the clear boxes, and label the fronts. I'm ridiculously ADHD but those things changed my life. They're just clear enough that you can sorta see what's in them, and having first-order retrievability is a total game changer. They're not the cheapest but I swear I've saved so much money not re-buying stuff I already own and just forgot existed. They're not a cure-all but they do make a difference.
Shea, Adam and Linus's chemistry was off the charts. Everyone was burning the other. "You can use the foot stool...." "Linus has no freeeends ...". Loved the spectacles. Also the polaroids and also the vinyls, Linus.
This was so wholesome and fun to watch, I'm terribly sad because it's over now. The couple energy is often the best part of these videos but this one is unmatched. Adam, David, Linus, Shea, all having immaculate chemistry. I don't know how exactly the dialogue was made because the scenes cut between different people way too fast so I assume some trickery was done there but it just works out perfectly. I've expressed before that I think Alexandre is the best editor at LTT right now and so them editing the video is a match made in heaven. Obviously Adam and Shea have their own private lives that don't have to be exposed any further just for my entertainment but if there's ever an opportunity I'd simply love to see more. (Floatplane BTS?) Probably my favourite LTT video ever.
I don't know. Just watch her behavior. She only got eyes for Linus here. Even gets a red face, licks her lips all the time she looks at Linus and also plays with her hair when he stands close to her. This woman is obviously more into Linus than her boyfriend.
This turned out to be one of those videos that aren't really about the tech (even if it literally says Ultimate TECH Upgrade in the title) but more about the people. Adam and Shea are such absolutely hilarious people, and adding Linus and David into the mix just made it into absolute chaos... which I am here for!

Shea is so rad. They are definitely a cool couple and there was a great dynamic in this video. LTT should bring her in for a guest spot on a video or something. what a lovely couple, so understanding and supporting of each other's interests and foibles with good humour. I rarely comment on LTT videos but this one was great. Its also a very relatable upgrade in a home space many of us can relate to rather than Linus's mansion home ;)
The amount of close calls linus had this month is amazing, I love how he's just himself instead of having a PR team telling him what to say and how to say it.

@@JXHNDRX 5K is chump change in this world. But yes, LTT is _definitely_ getting more than just the cost of the hardware from them for the sponsored vids.
You'd be surprised to see what brands spend just to get their name out there. At least on this particular advertisement it was a branded thing where the cpu can at least be _some_ kind of focus. ...Many brands spend hundreds of thousands or even millions just to get their logo in the background on a tv.
You might think that Intel doesn't have to advertise, but they do. Just like CocaCola has to advertise. A lot of times it's not about introducing you to a new brand, it's just about keeping their brand in your subconscious mind. And that's why a lot of people think Intel dropped the ball here (and why AMD lapped it up).
You also might notice a lot of advertising for enterprise brands nowadays. They aren't advertising to the masses, they're advertising to the execs and the buyers and IT people who actually make the decisions at that level. And it's worth it to them to advertise something that 99% of people aren't even going to know about, just to get that smidgen that does.

6:50 a major feature of our living room is a custom built media/display cabinet that was built to accommodate a large mid 90’s CRT… that was replaced with the largest flat-screen Bravia that would fit. Now a 60” flat screen on a VESA arm is covering the spot where the TV was, and the space behind holds the physical media collection in deep storage.
This was the single most fun, absolutely hilarious episode of Ultimate/Extreme Tech Upgrade ever. Adam, Shae and Linus have hilarious chemistry in such a tiny room. This was a wild ride that feels like an improv sketch comedy. Loved this episode. LTT with top quality content.
Only thing that compares is the one with Dennis, because well, Dennis.

Protip: get one of those Really Useful Storage towers with the clear boxes, and label the fronts. I'm ridiculously ADHD but those things changed my life. They're just clear enough that you can sorta see what's in them, and having first-order retrievability is a total game changer. They're not the cheapest but I swear I've saved so much money not re-buying stuff I already own and just forgot existed. They're not a cure-all but they do make a difference.

Shea, Adam and Linus's chemistry was off the charts. Everyone was burning the other. "You can use the foot stool...." "Linus has no freeeends ...". Loved the spectacles. Also the polaroids and also the vinyls, Linus.
This was so wholesome and fun to watch, I'm terribly sad because it's over now. The couple energy is often the best part of these videos but this one is unmatched. Adam, David, Linus, Shea, all having immaculate chemistry. I don't know how exactly the dialogue was made because the scenes cut between different people way too fast so I assume some trickery was done there but it just works out perfectly. I've expressed before that I think Alexandre is the best editor at LTT right now and so them editing the video is a match made in heaven. Obviously Adam and Shea have their own private lives that don't have to be exposed any further just for my entertainment but if there's ever an opportunity I'd simply love to see more. (Floatplane BTS?) Probably my favourite LTT video ever.
I think it's just that linus is very charismatic and can make anyone perform well on camera just by being there

This turned out to be one of those videos that aren't really about the tech (even if it literally says Ultimate TECH Upgrade in the title) but more about the people. Adam and Shea are such absolutely hilarious people, and adding Linus and David into the mix just made it into absolute chaos... which I am here for!

what a lovely couple, so understanding and supporting of each other's interests and foibles with good humour. I rarely comment on LTT videos but this one was great. Its also a very relatable upgrade in a home space many of us can relate to rather than Linus's mansion home ;)
