Dive into this relaxing and rejuvenating 40 min morning yin yoga class designed to both relax your mood and release tension from the body! This class is especially great for the morning time to wake up the body sweetly and set an intention for your day.
Yin yoga is a soothing practice where we hold postures for 2-7 minutes traditionally. In this class, we'll be holding these yin yoga poses for 2 minutes each.
These extended holds allow our muscles to relax into the full body stretch. Anatomically, these longer yin holds allow our fascia - the connective tissue that envelops our muscles, tendons, and organs - to reorganize into ways that allow for greater flexibility and range of motion.
Fascia that is not worked and moved is often the tissue that makes us feel tight - not the muscle. As we melt into these yin poses calmly, your fascia will release pent-up tension, while our nervous system relaxes simultaneously.
If you're seeking yoga for a mental reset or that yin yoga stretch, this class will give you the space to open your body, release tension, and calm the mind. Perfect for beginner yogis to advanced yogis who want that yin yoga stretch.

First time practicing morning yin yoga with you. You’re great, beautiful poses, but too advanced to my level. I tried to adapt, but it didn’t work. I was the entire 45 minutes trying to adapt that I couldn’t relax and focus on my breath. Not very good way to start the day. I would suggest that during the practice you give an easier option for each pose. I’m grateful anyway, you’re offering a nice practice for free, and I ask the universe to be generous with you. I loved this class. I didn't have the eucalyptus oil but I had a nice candle burning. The cat came to the mat and I swear she was imitating my asanas ! I will be subscribing and doing more of your videos. 🙏

Kate thank you for this amazing class, at the end of it I don`t know why but I had tears in my eyes... I think I had a lot of pressure past days... This yin class helped me to release stress. Balance I look forward to a better balance between left and right.❤
This is so smart. Imbalances between sides can have an outsized effect. For instance, if the left leg is noticably tighter than the right then you might prop on it more/less, which skews how your hips sit. Which will affect your back and shoulders, and even your neck. Everything is connected so imbalances matter.
