    After a terrible experience and subsequent return of a Creality 3 V2 last year I have now decided to try another Creality Printer. My first option was to visit you tube and hope you had reviewed the machine so that was a relief. Brilliant review thanks

    Kudos to you for including the Smart features of this printer as other reviewers have omited the review of this feature, I assume this was because they had problems getting it to work as I did with the Creality Box, I very nearly bought one of these when they were first released but a lack of reviews made me suspicious as Creality usualy sends everyone and their grandmothers a review unit but only sent one to Joel Telling who did just an unboxing and not a full review which was also suspicious

      Thank you for your comment. Also one thing to add: Do not update Creality WIFI box inside the printer over the Smartphone app. It will brick it! I learn in the hard way today just after I publish the video and then I lost a few hours trying to fix it. Basically I had to remove bottom plate and take out the microSD card from the Creality WIFI box, then I bearly found working link of the oöd Firmware, I copy it to the microSD card and insert it in the Creality WIFI box. When I turn on the printer it starts flashing automatically and after a few minutes I was able to connect printer again to the network/app.

    Hi!
    I understand option which prevent "power outage" work on short period of time. Why? What is that short period of time... 5 minutes, one minute? How long?
    It is possible to make to work for as long as it takes for printing to be finalized?

    • @NexiTech
      @NexiTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi.The problem is this "special" glass bed on CR10 smart is self-realising the print when the glass surface gets cooldown so you have a few minutes(depending of your room temperature) before print pops up from the glass bed. If you want to make power outgage feature to last long time just replace the stock glass with regular glass surface and use the glue stick or you can use one of these magnetic stickers for example or buildTak print surface. That should work fine.
      P.S. In video description you have a link for magnetic print surface.

    Hi Nexi, I saw Creality released a firmware update on October 22nd (v. 1.0.10) have you tested with that firmware?

    • @NexiTech
      @NexiTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I have. I have updated V1.0.10 firmware day before I released this video and autolevel still didn't work on my CR10 Smart. The nozzle don't keep the same distance from the Heat-bed and there is none Z- height compensation from the Auto-Level probing. Printing the large surface models can be a challenge and I try even to change start G codes and I test the latest Creality software and still autolevel don't work. What a shame. I really like the CR10 Smart it could be really good 3D printer if this is fixed but sadly it's still not.

      Did you get your smart? How did it work out for you?

    • @PaulChoix55
      @PaulChoix55 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jaybond5097 Actually I love my CR10 Smart. Once the start g code is corrected so that bed leveling is enabled, the first layer is always perfect. I've printed very small stuff as well as larger item, PLA and PETG. I've had issues with the filament detector that stopped the print randomly with black filament, i've put it put of the way since my filament spools are all new.
