Gotta say, I'm a beginner at this but with good technical proclivities, this is my first printer and after making sure everything was tightened and square before turning it on, everything worked without a problem. Solid and the prints are gorgeous if I print slowly enough. I did buy this knowing I was going to need a dual drive extruder. But I haven't ordered it yet since I'm getting nice prints while working within the machine's limitations. I've found that leaning hot on the bed in my work environment solves most of the problems people report, and I'm running filaments on the hot side of their range. I was not expecting to just start cranking out models in Blender and actually print them the first week I was playing with this. I have the general 3D printing stuff to learn, but this printer was largely start and go. If my extruder breaks before I order the upgrade, at least I know what I'm getting for now. Except I can't get their app to work. So it's all sneakernetting cards for me until something changes.

Hello Alessandro thank you for the video presentation. I have just purchased the CR10 SMART and in the process of fine tuning. I have seen a lot on YT about start and end GCODE in order to get this machine to work correctly. To that end I have changed my start GCODE to be inline with a lot of other SMART users. Did you have to change your Start Gcode at all?
Can I access this printer running my choice of 3d software over wifi and do it all from my desktop ? I want to create, set printer parameters, and control the printer functions all from my desktop.
Worst printer I have ever owned, Creality cloud is a joke compared to raspberry Pi (my first mod was to add raspberrypi) I have never gotten the auto bed leveling to work. goes through the motions but does nothing. I have the latest firmware with no success. Extruder was total garbage and had to replace. Stopped buying Creality altogether. I had a CR-10 S pro with similar problems. My Ender3 Pro and CR-6 SE are decent but slow. Jumped on the BambuLabs band wagon and will never go back. Flawless fast prints.
@@AlessandroIppati ha ha, all that pressure while recording. But good video, I have this printer still packaged in the box. Almost scared to open it with what I've read and watched. It's my first 3D printer and I'm afraid it might be over my head for just starting out if I have to replace the extruder head and or the hot end.
@@ImmortalTheory I am in the same boat, the box is sealed and seeing a lot of negativity. Is the long-term struggle real or just small easy fixes in the short term? Did you open your box in the end?
@Farrel Coetzee I have actually not opened it even still. Been over a year of it sitting in the box. But at this point, I can't return it and prob can't sale it for even close to what it was paid for. May just try my luck and hope I'm lucky.
@@ImmortalTheory oh dear, you are not the first person I've heard of purchasing a printer and having it sit in the box for several years. 😀 I have to make a call this evening or return it tomorrow, or else Im in the same boat as you. There are so many positive and negative comments. Something tells me to walk away, but I want someone to make me want to keep it. :-D

I am just simply using their slicer. Creality Slicer works fine for me
Hah, after seeing your extruder cracked, I looked at mine and same issue! Guess that explains the extrusion inconsistencies lately.
Easy fix with an all metal extruder from amazon... that worked amazing for me

This is what creality promises, but every case is different. It’s a question I could easily answer YES, but… but I don’t trust their software too much
