You're nitpicking on a $500 watch? 😁 Have you looked at the switch watched under the microscope? They're not perfect either. 🤣 The Ecozilla will outlast alot of watches. 👍

Bit ridiculous to nitpick these watches. Citizen packs more value for the buck in a diver than any other manufacturer. Two little spots on the Ecozilla bezel equals "major quality issues?" Jeez...... quite the review here.

The ecozilla best watch ever made if he weighted 300 grams would be perfect but 180 gram is still nice
Only defect is after one year the black paint in the letters on top start to earase other than that .... Perfect watch ...
Xxl version of him 55 mm 300 grams would be amazing

TH-cam Sorcery is scary...sorry to hear about your luck with these two great (to me) timepieces! I got my first BJ8050 back in 2010, it and the other 2 copies I have owned have been flawless. I got my copy of the BN2029 back in 2017 in SOCAL and it has a pleasure to own as well (wearing it as I type even) I hope they can make things right for you.

They do not fall apart. Plus, 6mm is 0.23 inches, thats less than a quarter inch. Quarter inch would not go all the way to the bottom of yhe watch.
You are so totally wrong on everything dude.
Get another hobby cause you have no idea what you are saying about watches.
Also next time hold the watches straight side up, not upside down.

Hi. After debating back and forth with Citizen USA, they still claim only movement is covered by warranty and I should send in the watch so they can review if they will cover the loose strap on a new watch. I did not want to go through the hassle so I returned back to the retailer the BN2029 for a refund. The BJ8050 I kept but I still see the two spots every time.

@@rummagingforwatches3494 i heard of a few cases that citizens baught here with rust in the movement and the local official importer declined warranty claim. Its just a hear say not someone i really know but it does make you wonder..

@@rummagingforwatches3494 - the production spots are not good esp if you can see it with the naked eye. you kept the ecozilla.... on mine i have no issues with factory tooling marks and accuracy on indices is good and keeps very accurate time. have you noticed on your ecozilla the bezel has a very slight up down movement kept taught by the spring? if you tap the bezel with your finger it will give a metal on metal slap sound. the bezel is tight on clicks and solidly mounted, but i thought this was unusual.

Seiko has way more QC problems. I have never had issues with Citizen but Seiko yes.

The nitpicking on these pieces is unreal. Based on this, i probably should return 99% of the watches i ever owned.
Such ridiculous expectations from machined objects.

The Citizen Eco-Drive watch is so cool. The original rubber strap can be replaced, and the 24mm lug adapter can be used to match the 24mm metal strap, which is more comfortable and beautiful to wear.🤣🤣
