The citizen Eco Drive watch is so cool. The original rubber strap can be replaced, and the 24mm lug adapter can be used to match the 24mm metal strap, which is more comfortable and beautiful to wear.🤣🤣
I've had one for 17 yrs. Still runs great. The bezel and the crystal are a bit scuffed up now though, from yrs. of use and abuse. Thinking about sending it in to Citizen for a replacement bezel and crystal.
@@hello-u2w Umm.. I thought you could, but now I've looked again and I don't see that option on the Citizen website anymore. I guess I posted this comment a while ago because since then my Citizen EcoZilla has stopped working. I think there is water under the glass. I kept thinking I would send it to Citizen for servicing but now it looks like you can't. I'll probably try to find a watch repair place that can service it. I stand behind what I said though. They're a good, long-lasting, reliable watch for the price.
That is a pretty cool looking watch! What’s the sizing like compared to the latest G-Shock Rangeman (wouldn’t be to far of would it?) Ps: hope you sort the bracelet issue! 👍🍻
I've got TWO of these Ecozillas coming. Both from Amazon. One I paid $192, then one I paid $144. Guess which one is getting returned? 😁. As of this morning, you can still get them on special for $144!
@@RandomRobReviews I have 8" wrists so I should be good wearing it often. 😀. While you're here, how is the original rubber strap? I don't plan to do this mod if the strap is at least acceptably comfortable. Thanks!
I own this watch . I bought back in 2002-2003 I believe. My watch came on the factory, stock bracelet. Does anyone know why Citizen stop making this watch with a stainless steel bracelet? I actually feel bad for owners of this watch who are trying to do the necessary steps to ad a bracelet when Citizen use to offer this watch with a bracelet.
@@RandomRobReviews i'd like but im in mexico, that's make me feel so bad, i searched on internet but ain't nothing about that key chain :(..but thanks buddy
I doubt to buy this bj8050. I just bought Citizen Promaster Aqualand JP2000-08E. I knew it for 40 years. Always found it a boring watch and in 40 years never payed attention. last month I was looking for an alarm watch that wakes me up! My experience: most watches do not, sounds to soft. This Aqualand does it! it is a very well made watch, classic. I like it now, it waited 40 years for my attention. the watch must lay on a surface, than the alarm sounds most loud and gives a likely clear sound. maybe the 8050 another time, it's a seducing watch. I like the springbar modules option.
Would love if Citizen made this watch in Bronze then hate the fact l couldn't get one as they would sell out faster than you can say "I want one".........
Very cool spring bar solution - I agree it looks nice on the mesh...that watch is a beast. Thanks for another great video Rob :)
Yes, a well made mesh would look great on that watch!

Did u ever find some bracelet options? That was the only thing keeping me away from it when i saw it come out....but now with time...perhaps options?
Great upgrade for this watch. Very cool!
Where can I get that piece want to do that to mine. Or the link. Thank you!!

Suppa titanium end links and nato ring are the highest quality, and also their bands and nato bands are the highest quality
For the price, I may get this watch, built like a tank.....Perfect.

Yeah I had seen that. I should have already returned mine. I highly doubt I will wear it.

These watches look better on the rubber strap!
Tool dive watches always look better on rubber. Dress divers look better on bracelets. Oh and mesh bracelets always look cheap.
That rubber strap digs a bit on a bare wrist
What screw driver is that? I have a bad habit of stripping screws. 😬
Is there a reference # for the rubberized factory band with the large metallic clasp in your video that you were removing?
Hi. I own the same watch. Do you mind sharing the part number of the end links? Thanks.
I am running into the same issue with my Seiko SUN065, 24mm is a big strap
Thanks for the video. That wiggle would drive me nuts
Hello Sir. Can you use the adapters with the watch's original o ring?
Hi, can you please provide a link for the new end links? Thanks
I wish I have bigger wrist, ecozilla undeniably a very cool watch
suppaparts for sure i have them the best

This watch is so outlandish its cool. Just not sure why they made it w/o. lugs. Makes no sense to me.
Having no lugs makes such a big watch much more wearable for those with smaller wrists.
I need link for this adapter please
HAPPY THANKSGIVING ! ENJOY YOUR FAMILY.. STAY WELL..
I have tiny wrists. If I was bigger boned, that would be an awesome dive watch for me!
I envy you for being able to wear this watch and pull it off
Oh it’s a big watch no matter what size wrist.
@@RandomRobReviews Still, looks ridiculous on me :D

i really hate heavy watches. it is not even about the size
Screws not "guys"🤔
Interesting, but hideous watch.
This watch is not top heavy I own four of them all RFN models with adapter and stainless steel braclet’s great watch hands down
