In my personal experience, 1.3gm to 1.4gm per kg of LEAN BODY MASS seemed to work the best. Even during a cutting cycle, I was able to lose 6kgs of weight while maintaing the same strength. The only thing I got from increasing my protein intake any further is more visits to the bathroom. So I believe the numbers you mentioned in the video are a little too high.
Thank you for this awesome video. The most well-researched video on protein intake! Please make one on macro-nutrients for various requirements such as sedentary, active, fat loss, muscle building, endurance, injury-recovery etc

Sir some youtubers suggested that the protein intake is always in multiple of lean body mass not the body weight... Please clarify... And very very thank you so much... For such an unbiased and very detailed knowledge...
CONCLUSION of this viedo if you are normal person or household person your PROTEIN requirement is 1 gm per kg body weight. But if you are doing bodybuilding and gump 1.5 to 2 gm protein per Kg body weight. Thanks me later 🙏🏻.

Sir please can u tell us a best sources of protien for muscle gaining or fat lose including supplements also ???becoze i cant eat huge amounts of protien food in a single time....so pls suggest which type of food in sufficient quantity we need in a day thank you😊
Sir, is 120-140 gms daily protein intake enough for a 75kg 5'10" individual who works out 4 times a week (high volume compounds + some isolations) and does 10-15 mins low-intensity cardio on rest days? My protein mostly comes from whole eggs, chicken/fish/mutton, peanuts and one scoop of whey powder daily. My goal is to gain lean muscle mass while keeping fat growth minimal. I would really appreciate your view on this.
You don't need protein shake , add different protein sources. Add soya chunks , very cheap, add tofu , add milk , add paneer (60gms/ day raw ) add rajma or other dal. If you are non veg. Add eggs , plan meals including these sources you'll definitely get around 100-110 gm day with a 1500 calories total diet limit.

Hi Akshay Sir, Have been watching your videos quite from a time and found them very relevant and trustworthy. Your views and explanation are crystal clear . I am an intermediate level Gym person and have a curious question about Protein Intake which is " Is taking a single source of Protein i.e either egg or Fish or chicken is same thing in terms of protein requirement for muscle building" of course I am not talking about other ingredients involved in different types of sources and talking only about protein. For example If I am consuming 30 egg whites in a day or 300 Grms of Chicken on 300 grams of Protein Rich Fish will all three mean the same thing in terms of muscle building ????? Kindly reply
Yes taking protien from.animal.sources are all similar whether supplement or whole foods Plant proteins are also.same.but just need to be mixed and matched
Go with 2 gram per kilo of bodyweight. You will be safe that way. So right now that means 110gram protein/day. About 500gram of fish per day. Or 400gram of red lentils. Or 200gram of TVP/minced soy nuggets. However once you start lifting your bodyweight will start going up very fast. So in that case, weigh yourself EVERY WEEK, and adjust your protein intake based on that.
please do a video on how much protein , carb etc we can get from normal food we consume everyday like Dal , rice , Egg Curry , Chicken Curry , Aloo Palak, dosa etc , because I feel this is one area where we have a major confusion.

How much protein I need to consume daily to increase lean muscle mass?
Shaon Sarkar if you're a beginner, and do intense exercise - 4-6 times in a week then you need 1.8 gm of protein of body weight
It should be 1.2-1.4gm/kg
