- This is one of the most common queries when it comes to protein intake. Instead of going for one source of recommendation, I have chosen seven different authorities on the subject and given their respective figures for daily protein recommendation or better understanding and consensus on the subject:

Akshay bhai you are absolutely wonderfull....great job buddy
Very very useful video sir, thank you.
In my personal experience, 1.3gm to 1.4gm per kg of LEAN BODY MASS seemed to work the best. Even during a cutting cycle, I was able to lose 6kgs of weight while maintaing the same strength. The only thing I got from increasing my protein intake any further is more visits to the bathroom. So I believe the numbers you mentioned in the video are a little too high.
True Same thing u said is mentioned other channel
U r ri8 bruh...I consume protein in almost this range only,I am lean n on a deficit, but still able to maintain my muscle mass
Thank you brother. I will follow this
If it work for you then well, you'll save more money. I personally take 140-170 gm protein per day at 75kg BW.
Sir some youtubers suggested that the protein intake is always in multiple of lean body mass not the body weight... Please clarify... And very very thank you so much... For such an unbiased and very detailed knowledge...
Yatin I haven't found any study on that
And all.international bodies haven't adopted any such practice
Wow .. finally someone who speaks the concepts out too clear and with facts .. fearless you are sir.. moreover not like fake TH-cams just trying to mint money with zero knowledge.. finally got a youtube channel that talks sense and I strictly follow.. salute sir.. also you need to burst the fake TH-camrs
Very well explained ....
Hats off
thnx
Could you please choose which language you want to speak for the video? XD The video title is in English so we should be expecting English.. Anyways, thanks for answering the question which was at 4:28.

Hi Akshay Sir, Have been watching your videos quite from a time and found them very relevant and trustworthy. Your views and explanation are crystal clear . I am an intermediate level Gym person and have a curious question about Protein Intake which is " Is taking a single source of Protein i.e either egg or Fish or chicken is same thing in terms of protein requirement for muscle building" of course I am not talking about other ingredients involved in different types of sources and talking only about protein. For example If I am consuming 30 egg whites in a day or 300 Grms of Chicken on 300 grams of Protein Rich Fish will all three mean the same thing in terms of muscle building ????? Kindly reply
Yes taking protien from.animal.sources are all similar whether supplement or whole foods
Plant proteins are also.same.but just need to be mixed and matched
Sir apke insta videos dkhe the 1/2 bar uske baad jo realize hua uske baad u tube start ki overall ye pya u r the best and good person 👍

Finally something that i needed.
Sir you communication skill is so good
Sir 2 points to discuss.
1) how much protein on rest days.
2) somewhere I studied 2 gms of protein per kg of LEAN body weight excluding fat?
60 kg weight hoga toh 120gm protien lega😲
Normal.protien intake on rest days
U have to take care of other nutrients also
The figure ur saying may be for advance strength athletes not for most

Great work !! But I would want a analysis on do we need to take protein shake or not ? that is your diet fills the protein requirements or not? General view as each individuals requirements differ. Still thanks for the great video 👍
🙏🙏 highly appreciated 👍
Hello Sir, Nice informative video. could you also make a video on how much protein you could consume in one serving

Sir, Mein pehley like thokta hun fir jaakar video dekhta hun. And I am damn sure that your videos never let down my expectation.

Nice content bro respect
Sir, is 120-140 gms daily protein intake enough for a 75kg 5'10" individual who works out 4 times a week (high volume compounds + some isolations) and does 10-15 mins low-intensity cardio on rest days? My protein mostly comes from whole eggs, chicken/fish/mutton, peanuts and one scoop of whey powder daily. My goal is to gain lean muscle mass while keeping fat growth minimal.
I would really appreciate your view on this.
It's quite enough
Ir going right
@@WeRStupid thank you Sir

Bit confused with body weight- should we consider just the muscle mass or over all body weight for calculating the protein intake multiplied by 1.4 or whatsoever recommendations?
please do a video on how much protein , carb etc we can get from normal food we consume everyday like Dal , rice , Egg Curry , Chicken Curry , Aloo Palak, dosa etc , because I feel this is one area where we have a major confusion.
My height- 5.5 ft
My weight - 55 kg
How much protein I need to consume daily to increase lean muscle mass?
Shaon Sarkar if you're a beginner, and do intense exercise - 4-6 times in a week then you need 1.8 gm of protein of body weight
It should be 1.2-1.4gm/kg
Go with 2 gram per kilo of bodyweight. You will be safe that way.
So right now that means 110gram protein/day. About 500gram of fish per day. Or 400gram of red lentils. Or 200gram of TVP/minced soy nuggets.
However once you start lifting your bodyweight will start going up very fast. So in that case, weigh yourself EVERY WEEK, and adjust your protein intake based on that.
Don't have enough money, i can only take 50 to 60gm protein per day in my resistance training schedule 😓😓
You don't need protein shake , add different protein sources. Add soya chunks , very cheap, add tofu , add milk , add paneer (60gms/ day raw ) add rajma or other dal. If you are non veg. Add eggs , plan meals including these sources you'll definitely get around 100-110 gm day with a 1500 calories total diet limit.
