5:55 There’s actually a way to pass this part where you’re stuck between bricks. All you have to do is take a pingouin suit, then you can slide and brake the bricks. Pretty clever :D
No you can't, you have to have enough speed to slide

It tricked me I’ve been bamboozled
We've been tricked, we've been back stabbed and we've been quite possibly, bamboozled.
In multiplayer, if one person is in a bubble and the other player pops the bubble from exactly on top of the bubble and jumps, then the game will think you are jumping off the player in the bubbles head, and will push the player from the popped bubble down. You can use this to get under those semi solid platforms. This means that probably more than half your levels are possible backwards if you use this technique.

I’ve been watching Skawo’s channel for a while now, and I would definitely recommend his videos.
I personally find him to be *very* whiny and annoying, tbh. But everyone has different taste, I suppose.

4-ghost house, 2-6 are possible because you can break the blocks with a penguin suit, there is also a secret exit in 2-6 near the end and 3-castle might be possible if you have a mini mushroom and fit into a tiny crack in the wall with spikes, but it still might not be possible because of sideways pipes with no ground underneath.
For 4-House, can't you get a Penguin Suit and try plowing through those blocks?

I'm just going to watch this video backwards for added effect.
I avoided this video for a while because I assumed the title meant "Going backwards along the map", like World 8 first, & ending on World 1, which just seemed as easy as beating the regular game, map path-opening allowing.
But this is wonderfully difficult & interesting! I want more runs like this!
BTW do you think Bubbles or other Multiplayer features could help here?

Actually, for 3-Castle, you can pass the first section by having a propeller suit, and the star before entering the level, so it might be possible to beat this level.

Yeah
I mean with DS some of the levels were possible in theory, but the issue was that there were many pipes with no ground beneath.
Here is just more impassable floors/room layouts. I would say it’s almost the same, but Wii ended the challenge quickier. So, NSMB Wii was a little more challenging in that respect.
I love Nathaniel Bandy! I have tried my own runs of these. Never can do them like you do! Keep up the good work

By adding a small gap in every semi solid or a button to go through them, or maybe something like crouching and pressing jump to go through, reversing the poison and the spawn of stuff to travel through a level (such as rotating square block on tracks, skull coaster and rafts), it would make every level possible

I actually popped off the second the bell sound played when you landed on that raft in 5-4
I know that this video is quite old but there is a way to get through the platform in the towers. Go into to 2 player and put one person in a bubble, the person that isn’t in a bubble stand over the platform. With the person in the bubble shake the wii remote over to the person and it will pop them just below platform. I not 100% sure is this works.

I love these challenges how he does it backwards, no coins, or all coins
You could just start with a star and propeller for 3 castle so that the spike doesn’t hurt you
3-castle should be possible with multiplayer. By having propeller Mario land on the spikes, and Luigi bubble to Mario, Luigi should be able to make it over the gap with his own propeller.
4-ghost house might be possible if you can use a penguin suit to slide through the blocks, probably not though.
All pits you were stuck in can be cleared with one sided wall jumps, either with the mini mushroom, or the fire/ice flower glitch.
You gotta love that music man it just screams confidence and power

I know this video is old but I have some ideas:
The semi-solids could be passable if you have P2 die, respawn UNDER the platforms and pop them, and immediately ground pound (i dunno if it will work but its worth a shot)
The 3 castle section (5:00) could be do-able with P2 in a bubble with a propeller suit, pop them and have them fly.
4-Ghost House can be done with penguin suit if you dash trough the blocks
On 4 ghost house you could use penguin suit to break the blocks
