That Serena's first thought was asking if Joe was okay after seeing Kendall shows so much confidence in their relationship.
It’s kinda codependent ngl
Serena truly showed how much she cares about Joe in that moment, and you could tell that they really built a solid foundation of trust in their relationship. It's such an important and healthy thing to have for a long-lasting relationship and I've appreciated how honestly they've communicated throughout everything.
@@QueXLcior how is it codependent?? She wanted to make sure HE was ok, instead of getting all jealous and flustered that his ex showed up AGAIN. She handled that extremely maturely. She didn’t even ask what Kendall said to Joe. She was only worried about how Joe was doing after the talk they had. It showed that she was secure in their relationship and didn’t feel threatened by Kendall showing up.

@@paulajames6149 Becca is a very logical person (kept a journal & kept mentioning it as the bachelorette), AND has experience breaking up with people when she was bachelorette. she knows this isnt about her. as the person breaking up with someone, you need to have a delicate balance of making sure they know you are also devastated, but not making it so that they have to now console you - make space for their emotions. she knows how to make space for others' emotions.

She ended up realizing they couldn't agree on anything and how can you have a family when both parents don't agree on anything. Becca said on the podcast she asked Thomas questions about parenting, beliefs, oppinions and everything in life to make sure they connected on a deeper level. I loved Garett but there were way more deeper issues and it wasn't based off of politics lol that situation just made her question everything and she realized he wasn't her person.
I’m still really upset with production and bringing Kendall in on the proposal day right before he was popping the question… now Serena and Joe will always have to have that be a part of their story and that’s just really weird, they should’ve been more respectful and brought her in the day before or something if they really wanted that moment
I completely agree with you Kari F. Kendall stood in the proposal area, an area neither Joe nor Serena have ever stood. "That moment, that time and space" was meant for them. Not with memories of Kendall standing there first with Joe. Production should have had Kendall talk to Joe in the area where they sit and gather before the cocktail parties. Not in the exact area where he is to ask Serena to marry him.

Bach producers are really vile! Anything for more drama. So mean how they held some contestants back in hotel knowing full well who they wanted to meet up with. They do have their favorites. And how about poor Mykenna got 1-2 days there sent in when most of them were paired up.
@@chanw5797, I completely agree with you. I wonder how Kendall feels about her actions now? It's too late for her to change what she did, because that proposal moment is gone. But, as a woman, she "really" should show some "respect" and apologize to Serena. Most women understand how important the proposal moment is and no woman would want "the ex fiance" showing up and standing in the spot that "is not meant for the ex." Kendall really should cringe and feel embarrassed when she sees that clip from the show. Like you, I am also hoping all 3 couples make it. 😊
While this season had a lot of drama, and I mean a lot of it, this is one of the best seasons hands down just because of how deeply in love you could see the final 3 couples become
Yes! I just wish they would have focused more on those three couples throughout the season rather than all the drama. I would’ve liked to see more of their low key conversations and stuff on the beach as they formed their relationships.
Yeah while watching the season, I thought way too much about the drama but seeing that ending made me realize how successful it actually was :)

Serena seems like one of the most genuine and empathic people one could ever meet. The fact that she was one of the youngest if not the youngest on the show, but was very mature, level headed and compassionate makes me think very highly of her. She just radiates a great energy.

genuinely don’t think i’ve ever experienced more joy than when i watched the segment at the end: the music, victoria’s butt in the car door, abigail and noah, natasha’s followers, the cake thrown in the fire, and so much more … it was like a fan edit thrown right in
Abigail and Noah wanted to stay together , though not engaged. Producers made them break up so they could have only engaged couples at the end. That's not happy to me

I didn't notice it as much during the date because it seemed like he wanted her to give paradise a shot, but the fantasy suite thing was too uncomfortable.. definitely creepy & I'm glad she left.

What i love about the final 3 girls is they are fairly young, Serena 23, Mari and Maurisa 25, but they are just so mature for their ages and seem older than they are! Unlike some other girls who were on the show.
James and Aaron running off into the sunset and the 80s style update montage at the end made this 3 hour finale all worth it! 👏 lol
Our final three couples were great, seriously each of them had me tearing up at some point over how beautiful they are. And honestly yeah my opinion of Thomas did a 180 and I am really glad he and Becca are happy.

I personally think Thomas isn’t as bad as the producers wanted us to originally think.
Plus I mean Tammy did the EXACT same thing with him (flipping from aaron to Thomas) so I mean. He didn’t do what a bunch of others haven’t already. He was just the only one that was honest and like “hey yes we went on the date. Turns out I actually have feels for her, and I’m sorry to admit that to you but it’s true.” NONE of the other contestants have shown that kind of respect when it comes to dating someone else on the beach.

Aaron is perfect for the franchise and honestly the type of guy they will probably keep looking for. He is the Vegeta of this franchise because you hate him and his bizarre actions, but he is the one who moves the plot forward. Aaron and james create problems and problems are drama and drama is how you get views.
Actually Aaron is the light yagami of BIP and this is all his plan to take down the rest of the men and become bachelor, and james is his shinigami
Aaron is a perfect anti-hero for this franchise. I hope he eventually gets a bro-chelor spinoff where men compete to be in his friend group.
Was interesting how, after all the pity nice guy storyline, James hits it off with Anna, and then turns out to be a phony dick.
This hurt my brain…Aaron is a fucking numbskull who offers nothing to this show, at all.

What Kendall did was just plain stupid. I'm sure she did it because she knew Serena would see it and maybe not accept Joe's proposal. If she was really happy for them, she would have congratulated both of them together after their engagement. Thank God Serena was sharp enough to see what Kendall was up to, besides she was never even willing to visit Joe in his hometown. Glad the diva didn't win. Joe and Serena have so much fun together without the power struggle Kendall brought.
Glad to see Becca is still seeing Thomas outside the show which is definitely more real!
Glad Michelle is next Bachelorette. I think Bachelor Nation should select Natasha as the next Bachelorette. She got robbed as she is more than just beautiful, she is intelligent which is usually intimidating for most guys. She is stunning in more ways than one, especially with her ability to go directly to the source when there is miscommunication and gossip. Kudos to her relationship and maturity
And Aaron and James deserve each other as they always seemed critical of the women and were more focused on themselves. They both need to grow up and quit being so judgmental. So happy for the engaged couples!!
If you look when they pretend Riley is being silent (long pause), his head is moving like he's talking (but they took the sound out). I think they added the pause or at least made it longer.

I was like thank God that didn’t totally throw off both of their moods. Ngl, I don’t know if I would have handled that as well as Serena.
I love Kendall but when someone breaks up with you it is a clue they are not that committed to you. Kendall ultimately showed her lack of committment to Joe. Glad Serena is all in. Shocked that Joe never proposed to Kendell after 2 yrs of dating and propose to Serena after a few weeks. Shows you something wasn’t right with Kendall and Joe. Kendall kept talking about that they had love for each other. To me, love is just not a fondness, a liking of someone. Love takes commitment and sacrifice which Kendall wasn’t willing to do.
Bringing Kendall on right before the proposal is one of the ickiest things productions have pulled

Kendall has always been about Kendall. Right to the end when she said "I couldn't leave this beach without expressing this to you" it's all about her and how she needed to leave. Never about Joe and what he needed in that moment
I'm so happy that Joe and Serena can finally go public. There was such a difference in his energy with Serena than with Kendall. And for Serena's part she was very confident and not needy and I think Joe found that really attractive. And also their banter was great.
Riley and Maurissa seem really solid and supposedly Kenny and Mari area already planning their wedding.
Between the 3 engagements and the other couples, this has to be the most successful season of BIP to date.
Also, Dean confirmed that Production tried to make him propose to Caelynn while they were on the beach. And of course, Dean was NOT having it. Yes, they'll take the free vacation, but if Dean ever proposes it is not going to be on their beach - good for him.
I loves how Serena allowed Joe to get closure with Kendall and talk with her multiple times without becoming the "crazy girlfriend" like interrupting them and being petty. She is so mature for her age and I loved her on Matt James season when she knew he wasn't her person and left and on this season!
@@saradodson7840 agree! I also now get now why she and Joe clicked so well. They are both late October Scorpio’s, only 4 days apart (plus all the years). Kendall is a Leo, so yeah, that was going to be a struggle to make work. Joe seems so much more himself with Serena and I’m happy for them. Not that astrology is everything, but for me, my best connections have been with same signs or compatible ones.
I feel like this was one of the best seasons just because of the amount of diversity this cast had. Love all the couples and the different walks of life everyone came from 💕👸🏾✨✨

Natasha’s first few weeks were so completely wasted, I’m glad she got a few extra chances but in the end they just weren’t right.

oh wow there is so much to talk about with this finale.. but my favorites were the proposals (they were all so cute!!!), the montage at the end showing the good moments of the season & the where are they now segment and Michele's preview!! That was crazy! I cannot wait for her season!! OH, AND AARON AND JAMES LEAVING TOGETHER WAS PRICELESS!!!! HAHAHAHA!!
This season had such a huge number of couples that actually worked out, I’m living for it

I must say Mari was so calm. She did not seem that excited for the proposal. No tears. No jumping. No excitement. It was a quiet yes. It was like Kenny asked her to the movies or something.
This was my first time watching Bachelor in Paradise and it was AMAZING. I love it the most out of all 3 shows (The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and BIP) and this season was sooo good! I loved everyone on the show. So good. The little "Almost Paradise" intro, the super fun and fan-favorites cast, the different hosts, and the best part was the where-are-they-now montage at the end. 10/10! ⭐
At least Becca and Tommy got their happy ending and she apologized for breaking up with him on national TV coz that breakup was brutal but now they are happy and in love so yaaaay!!🥳

I'm really wishing all of the couples the best and hope that they continue to find happiness together. I loved that moment where Serena asks Joe is he's okay and you could tell from Joe's voice during his proposal just how much this moment meant. Joe and Serena truly showed what genuine, mature, and kind-hearted people they are with the way they handled everything and how they communicated so honestly with one another. You could see how deeply they fell in love. So sweet!

Yeah he was just too dumb to know he shouldn't say he thought about being the next bachelor, and everything he said after that was him trying to do damage control...badly lol. It was funny they were all calling him manipulative, when he was so obviously fumbling. Thomas couldn't manipulate his way out of a paper bag 😆😆😆
