im really disgusted for deepti and disappointed that she cant see what a shallow creepster narcissist shake is. like, girl, run for the hills!
Also, it came up to me that they are both having insecurities with their skin color and culture. Maybe its just me, but if you listen good to their conversations you can get to that conclusion to. Shake made me really mad, but deepti is talking about how smart their childeren would be and so that means shes very sure of her own thinking abilitys. Girl cant you see, hes not into you. Its so obvious that its disturbing my godd!

yessss! As an Indian I am like girllll how do you not see it but she did mention she was raised in India and then moved which has major affects to how people think. I hope she doesn't think that just because she is engaged and choose this doesn't mean she has to marry him because that is how it can be sometimes in my culture. It's sad because they do suit personality wise with so many common interests and energy etc but the attraction isn't there. Shak should just tell her instead of telling other men those nasty things about her
I feel like Sal brought up his issue perfectly. Explained why he was upset calmly and confidently. But then Mallory basically gaslights him by making it sound like she's the one that's upset and needs an apology. Like woman! Be honest about how you're feeling!

I'm glad someone else sees how gross Mallory's reaction was. Sal just said he was uncomfortable and instead of reassuring him, she chose to make it seem like HE was making a big deal out of something and that he didn't care enough about HER. How does that make sense??

I totally agree that her insecurities would get old very quickly if I were in Nick's position, but I also think that some of Nick's reactions (especially in the previews) are kind of toxic as well so that's a red flag for me also.
I think she was justified in being upset that he left her sick and alone to go to the party though. I would expect my partner to stay with me and keep me company, especially on our honeymoon. I get that the producers probably encouraged him to go but I think it was the wrong move on his part.

Shayne has been giving huge red flags for the pods. The need for constant compliments looks like it will be a huge problem. I thought he was joking 😳 but clearly he meant it! Also his behaviour during his Natalie and Shaina mix up, when Shaina back off one he was dating Natalie then in Mexico about the compliments conversation were other red flags. I have a feeling Shaina might crash the wedding 😂

I gotta say that if someone told me they spent 3 hours in a closet crying that would scare/turn me off. Danielle’s issues are so deep that their relationship will always be about reassuring or meeting her needs but she doesn’t have enough in her to meet his needs. In all seriousness, as she is edited/presented, in the show, Danielle needs therapy and not a husband.
Nick did look scared when she told him about her panic attack. It was a shocking statement to make out of the blue. She does need some help with her anxiety and insecurity but the girl is not crazy or a mental case (both I've read as descriptors). She has a mental illness but it does not define her. She opened up to him right away about it and allowed him in. She really loves Nick as well, I can see that. Counselling is never a bad idea (I'm a counsellor LOL) but time and evidence of his trustworthiness and his committment will also go a long way in helping her believe that this is real and become less anxiety-ridden.
@@heidiquayle5054 I don’t think she’s crazy. I think she has deep issues and baggage that she needs to address if she wants to be in a successful relationship. There is no amount of time and consistency that will ever make someone that insecure feel secure in a relationship. The scene where She accuses Nick of judging her when he said that he was just listening and trying to understand shows that she has a long way to go. On Nick’s part, it’s clear that he has never dealt with someone who’s issues run this deep and doesn’t know what to do. He even said if they’d met under different circumstances he would be done after that first fight. I actually can’t blame him for that, it’s a red flag. I don’t see anyway this can be a happy pairing without one or both of them getting counseling.
Danielle probably needs a host of medication as well, she's off her rocker

When everyone was saying in their cocktail party confessionals that "if any couple is gonna make it, it will be Shayne and Natalie" I was staring openmouthed at my screen in disbelief

God, this show. When it works, it really works. The rest of the time, the dumpster fire of people being SUPER weird and impulsive.
Impulsive is the perfect word for it. I wonder if they have some sort of version of the marshmallow test and only people who fail it can be on the show lol
Zero chemistry between any of these "couples". Painful to watch.
The show makes no sense because all the things that are supposed to be blocked out e.g. race, ethnicity, weight,religion etc are still being talked about meaning people are still making their pick based on those factors.

It could work, I’d be happy to watch it without the drama of Shane, Shania, and other such personality types.

I was so confused when she originally said the attraction wasn’t there because I thought sal was probably the 2nd cutest guy there. Plus he was so calm and collected even after being gaslighted by her.

Mallory strikes me as one of those “not like other girls” types who dates a lot of stupid jocks (like Jarrett). She genuinely has no idea what to do with a sweet sensitive guy like Sal. I hope she doesn’t hurt him.
I think Shayne is out of his mind. The way he was all over floor while talking to the women and how much he looks like Gary Busey… I’m not sure how Natalie actually likes him. Even the way he laughs feels very off to me. He got angry at Natalie for being upset for saying he was waiting on Shaina. That was like the nail in coffin for me on this guy. He’s so desperate for compliments too. It’s very odd.

I was happy to see more average looking contestants this season compared to the first but disappointed there's no Lauren and Cameron this season (2 stable, level headed adults that actually like each other). I don't see any couples making it this season. Too many insecurities, poor communicators, and different values.

When he pretended to beat her with the ukelele, I was genuinely concerned. The love-bombing, constant need for validation, and consistent nitpicking at her qualities just makes my skin crawl. I hope she can get out in time.
Shayne is such a narcissist, the guy literally complains whenever he's not recieving compliments from Natalie every 5min about his body 😒. If I was Natalie I'd run as far as I can to avoid headaches of having to deal with Shayne long term.

I see shayne as the blonde jock type who actually has alot of insecurities (and cannot match voices to the women to save his life). That said I feel he has always been his goofy way in the pods and just after they met so it shouldn't be a shock. Having the need of words of affirmation does not meet every single thing he does, he wants a cheerleader. She tells him (joking) that he is a piece of shit, for example even if he asks if he's good looking to her. He's insecure and she is feeding in on it by closing up. This is the only issue so far aside from bedtime eating LOL. I think he needs to grow up but she could help him feel secure in himself by praising actual things that she appreciates, to notice him and his feelings more (and to apologize if her sarcasm comes off as truth)>
Also, Shaina says she is a Christian and faith is important but she has done a lot of questionable things and now the worst thing is her desire to see Shayne.

Strangely, I feel like Iyanna and Sal would be a good couple. Iyanna needs someone she has 100% trust and Sal is very comfortable emotionally and seems very trusting (from what we see). Sal would make sure Iyanna wasn’t a second choice and they both seem to be more introverted people, so it could work out a bit better. And then let Jarret and Mallory have their own cluster f*ck of a relationship. Like I think Iyanna and Sal would be a healthy pairing (they are also my favorites)

They were vulnerable with each other and I think if it was just them, no dating show/wedding timer they could make it. I felt bamboozled when he asked Mal to marry him first because I liked him with Iyanna.
I think we also have to remember that she’s the one who said yes while knowing he wanted to be with Mal.

This show is so fun to watch for when the couples have interesting conversations about stuff like trauma and religion that rarely if ever get touched on in the bachelor world. But oh my god. The rest is like watching people experience “the ick” for weeks on end.
Sal iyanna deepti and Natalie are the only ones looking innocent to me honestly 😭 also this show is so awkwardly edited I hate it nobody ever finishes a conversation

Something I realized watching this season, how toxic it is for the contestants to be exposed to each other. When they were in the pods I hated that the guys/girls knew about each others relationship and they were sabotaging others. And them all meeting up in Mexico after having these intense relationships just a week ago…I understand it’s better drama but not good for relationships.
I'm sure the contestants are curious about each other plus it's like another "test" for the relationship and like a revelation. That interaction between Mal-Mal and JerBear was quite telling. But I agree with you lol.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was later revealed that Shaina and Jessica are actually related

Kyle and Shaina… I can’t even. She doesn’t believe in science?? It’s one thing to be religious, but she’s literally out here denying evolution. The way Kyle has compromised all of his beliefs for her screams desperation. He ate meat and bread after 8 years and is willing to compromise on believing in evolution. Does this man bend to the will of any woman he meets? Him proposing after the religious talk made me scream.
yeah I thought that was so awkward and unexpected, it was like he was trying to desperately control the situation and fix it by proposing rather than circling back to the religion talk, to actually talk it out like adults. Maybe he just didn't want to face it or was blinded. Definitely so similar to how Mark was with Jessica. When a guy acts like that it's honestly a turnoff because it's doesn't feel like he's loving the girl for who she really is on the inside.

I like Nick and Danielle. Him making his own toothpaste and body wash was a super funny addition. “I have the smoothest teeth. If you don’t notice how smooth a guy’s teeth are you aren’t looking close enough.” He did seem like he enjoyed the other couple’s drama though. Danielle’s insecurities seem like the biggest point of contention in their relationship and I really hope she can work through it for her own good.
She can not do that in such a little time. Thats not going to work. Shes really insecure, funny cause she really has no reason for that. Nick is trying really hard, but at some point, you stop trying. I was really annoyed with her allegations

She needs therapy and not marriage. This experiment is the last thing she needs. Marrying a stranger? Being very insecure, this experiment should have been the last thing on your mind. I was pretty bummed with the contestants this season. I feel the same way about this season of Love is Blind as I did about all the subsequent seasons of The Circle. Both shows had an amazing group of contestants for season 1 and the contestants on the other seasons just don’t compare (although I do like the season 2 Circle contestants. Just individually and not as a whole). If Danielle didn’t have so many personal issues and was more confident I think I’d root for her and Nick more. I liked Mallory initially but I think she would’ve been happier with Jarrette, although I love Jarrette and Iyanna, so I’m rooting for them. Sal deserves better. I think Natalie is too good for Shayne and I’m shocked she fell for him. And I really can’t stand Shayna and think Kyle has so many red flags. Can’t believe that he’s willing to change his beliefs for someone who clearly doesn’t like him. Hate Shake, love Deepti.

Shake and Deepti remind me so much of Gogol and Moushumi from The Namesake, which for me was a life-changing movie and book. Their relationship consists of two people getting engaged mostly just because the other person has gone through the same experience of being an Indian-American person in their early 30s who only dates white people. I kind of want to hear Shake and Deepti’s reactions to the book.

My friend convinced me to watch this last night and I stayed up to watch all of it. I can't believe people like this exist in the world (to some of them).
That said, my favorite Fantake videos are when Fantake is roasting toxic people so I'm happy to see it.
I didn't watch the first season, but I've just binged the first three episodes of season 2. I already hate Shaina with my whole being. Spoilers ahead, btw, in my rant. Like, I get her reservations about the religion differences, I do. I don't understand why she accepted Kyle's proposal for that alone. Matching a Christian and an Atheist together is going to have a major uphill battle to begin with. But then, THEN after she accepts his proposal she has the nerve to try to get back together with Shane. Like WTF. Can't stand her.
Also, Iyanna deserves better.

I really feel like the quality of people this season is so bad because expectations are there from the success of season 1. Who knows how genuine these people's intentions are in terms of screen time and fame and also who knows how genuine the producers' intentions are.

I know I cannot be with someone like Shayne in the first 5 mins of the show. He DOES NOT listen. He keeps on talking about himself (also have a tendency to think out loud) and spills his insecurities everywhere like wanting to receive compliments everyday. Also, can someone explain to me what does "who cares about what she said" means when Shaina asked him whether he is in a relationship with Natalie or not.....dude you expect to propose to 2 women and then get upset when you can only commit to one and then being called out by the other one or what?

shayne makes me so angry tbh. it's one thing to communicate to someone "hey, words of affirmation is my main love language and it's important for me to have a partner who affirms our connection" but it's another thing to aggressively demand compliments and to withhold things (refusing the pour the champagne) until the other person says they love you. icky icky icky!!!!!!!!!! also the way he turned that argument in the pod around to blame natalie was straight up nasty behavior!! literally all she did was quietly express that she was hurt and he was saying things like "why are you beating me up about this" and "if you think i'm a dick then that's pretty weird of you" and just turning the entire thing around to make himself the victim. if i ever see that man on the streets it's on sight
I geuinely feel sorry for two people.. Sal and Deepti. Both Mallory and Abishek seriously don't the heart for them. They are probably disappointed with their partner's physical appearance. Dunno why they're on this show if they're chasing the look not what's inside.

@@CrimeandCrafts when he did his “I was being so superficial” speech to Deepti I found myself cheering him on! Him kissing her feet when he saw her made me so happy for them. He seemed to genuinely like her until they met the other couples. I honestly think he found himself more attracted to the other women so that’s why he started back up on the “I’m not attracted to her” talk.
I have to wonder if he really feels that way or if he’s posturing for the other guys. I keep thinking back to him trying to show off in front off Kyle about working out and Kyle saying “nobody cares dude.” It feels like he’s dealing with his own insecurities about not feeling good enough or attractive enough so he’s resorted to tearing her down in front of the other guys to make himself seem better.
I love the show. Nothing tears me up more than when the contestants say exactly what I’m thinking. The jokes Iyanna was making about the size of Jarret’s head implying something else is exactly what I thought😂. What makes the show so fun to watch is that it’s unfiltered. When they’re having a hard day they go and take a drink that’s exactly what real people might do.

It’s impossible to not notice the similarities from last season, i.e., Shaina and Kyle = Jessica and Mark, Nick and Danielle = Cameron and Lauren, and I’m also getting Kenny and Kelly vibes from Sal and Mallory. I really liked Mallory at the start, but that talk she had with Jarrett at the cocktail party made her come off SO FAKE. I also can not stand Shayne. Every word he says makes me BEYOND UNCOMFORTABLE. He is truly a walking red flag, and I’m surprised Natalie has stayed around so far after how many fights they’ve had already.

I realize they only have so much time for episodes but I’d like to know more about the games and activities they do in the pod (like with the markers and questions). And also I’d like more interviews with the people who don’t make a connection. Sometimes we see them randomly in the groups and I’m curious about the other people we don’t get to know (and more about the process - like how do they know when someone wants to talk to them or not? Do they get sent home if no one wants to talk to them? There have got to be melt downs they are keeping from us).

So no one is gonna talk about Jarrett? That was really fucked up what he did to Iyanna. Dont know why she go further with him after finding out abouy his first proposal. If Mallory would give jarrett green light at the party, he would leave Iyanna right away.
On one hand I respected him for being 100% honest with Iyanna but that Mexico conversation with Mallory was so bad. I feel like if Mallory had said she made a mistake he would have walked away with her and left Iyanna without looking back.
