the one convo with victoria and shanae where he had his eyes closed the whole time or just stared off into space LMAO i just felt bad for hunter when he was kissing her and reassuring her and suddenly hopped onto the victoria train after one make out sesh

The most terrible thing she did was minimise adhd, which most people do. So, as someone with late diagnosed adhd, I don’t think she’s a terrible person. I think she’s just very sensitive and gets very defensive sometimes and doesn’t really understand the world much.
She’s just a straight up sociopath who has no empathy or remorse for her actions so allowing her to have this platform sickens me and as someone who has ADHD I felt very triggered by her mockery of it
I'm very impressed with how Andrew handled that tbh respected his own feelings while also respect hers.
He’s a sweetheart. I feel like we’re missing something with what happened with Teddi. Was she homesick? It was weird.

They probably told her they wanted her to do certain things to people or act a certain way and se didn’t want too. The product don’t care about the truth and have done horrible things to people in the past. Look at Brittany. They don’t support anyone after the show or admit to lying. And to trash a woman especially who said “no” the show will make her look bad in anyway they can. This show truly, clear as day, play favourites with cast no matter how old the couple or contestant is (in terms of seasons and age)
After seeing Teddi’s IG post, Im just *speculating* that producers might have wanted to push Teddi into a love triangle but she didn’t want to so she decided to leave before they forced that upon her. It’s the only thing that makes sense as to why she didn’t even say bye to her friends, to not say or do anything that would violate the NDA.

It seems so obvious that they sequestered Rodney for a good amount of time, not keeping him informed or letting him choose someone (likely knowing he was going to choose Teddy for the date). Yeah. I think she made the right choice vs going out with Rodney right after breaking up with the guy she came to paradise for.
If this is true, I am so proud of her for leaving! More contestants should stand up to pushy producers. I'll miss her though.

Genevieve freaking out was pretty emotionally immature, like she ruined her whole day on her own instead of accepting there are things she can't control. She's giving me high school anxiety. She clearly was upset at the idea of being sent home first and she calmed down as soon as the women had the roses and she could herself explore other relationships.
Genevieve’s lack of self confidence is a turnoff.

I feel like she's the main character and I'm really worried for her mental health as this plays out.
Cries for hours over a guy she met two days ago going on a date with someone else and then argues with him about it, then proceeds to do the exact same thing a few days later. I'm actually at the point where I'm not sure whether the best option for Justin is her or Victoria freaking Fuller.
It was sad because she was so cute in the first episode showing off his shoes
and she's quite full of herself. I hope Jordan finds someone much better. I wish he hadn't given her that pity rose

Ashley and Jared had an awful time and it seemed like they edited her to be an obsessive psycho. Then she went on Bachelor winter games met someone, Kevin and then Jared realised he better make a move. If anything Kevin and Astrid who MET in paradise and are also married with a baby should have been invited to go on the beach.
Rubbed me the wrong way they did the "proposal" on the beach Infront of her ex bf who she clearly was with when Jared made a move. 🤔🙄 Don't come for me.
I hope some day the producers get sued for what they did to that one girl to humiliate her personal stuff. What the hell did she do?
I was thinking that too, but if they got stuck with the bill for her plane ticket, maybe they considered this payback? Still icky all around...
@@CC12203@Stargirl This show made everyone think someone was a prostitute. I don’t believe that story. She’s a bottom rung cast member to them. They probably sprung something on her they wanted her to do and she said no. And it blew off a whole storyline they wanted. And they wouldn’t ofused her real luggage because of a possible lawsuit so they used a prop and really slut shamed her.
They really have it out for her.

Felt like a passive aggressive Bachelor producers hurt ego chess move for Salley stringing them along. 🤦🏼♀️
NGL that Salley story was quite funny. For someone who hasn't even been on the show proper she has left quite an impression.
They never show the relationships that are actually doing well…….unless it’s a relationship that got better off of the show such as Ashley & Jared or Becca & Thomas.
Questions I have after this episode:

- Why did James tattooed his whole leg?

Normally this is my favorite bachelor show but this season has been more painful than the normal shows so far. We’ve seen about 3 minutes of real relationships and the contestants are more forgettable than ever. Jacob’s monologue about his body goals is literally more relatable to a gym rat like me than 90% of the other conversations.
I hope it improves.

Geniveve is too immature to go on this show, two days is too soon for a spiral. She should have said ‘this isn’t my favorite thing but I’d go on a date at this point too so you should go and let’s chat when you’re back.’ Then she should have spent the day chatting with available men. When he got back with liking them both she should say ‘I still like you and I hope I get your rose and until you’re ready to commit to one person I’ll continue chatting with other people’
BUUUTTTT Justin picking her after all that means he likes highly dramatic relationships so I don’t feel bad for him.
Made me think back to what we weren't shown during Clayton's season (but were told about): how she was freaking out the night before the 2 on 1 and saying she wanted to go home, etc. She is showing herself to be unstable and extremely dramatic and insecure on paradise, so now I'm thinking we didn't see her true colors on Clayton's season.

What about his Hong Kong comment? I have been there many times, he's not wrong, that place is awesome. It's also not really strip club, yeah they strip there but it's actually a whorehouse. You pay $60 for 1 hour for any girl you want in the club and there's a ton to choose from, plus $12 for the room right next door. I miss that place.

BIP has become unwatchable for me. I think social media plus producer manipulation have necessitated a complete re-tooling of the original concept. I keep thinking of all the great streaming shows I could be watching!

Best episode so far! Felt like a ton happening I like unexpected friendships between shanae, Gen, and tedd ish exit. Tho I wish she stayed long enough to see if she could explore something with Rodney.

I've always said that the people coming on this show are responsible for knowing how much of a dumpster fire it is and that there's a good chance they'll look ridiculous, but I actually kinda feel bad for Salley. That was on a whole new level of cringe, they didn't have to do her like that.
Every time I get down on myself for being single at 45, I remind myself that my red flags are almost nonexistent compared to these women’s and I feel a little better inside.
But you are at least 15 years older than most of them which means you're more mature than them.

I JUST told my mom the new season is on and to watch it, before last nights episode. I really hope she didn’t take my advice.
This is only my second season of BIP but compared to last season, this one is just strangeeee. Last season I barely knew anyone because im new to Bachelor but I still loved it lol. This season I know 70% of the cast and im just confused because all of the “drama” just feels dumb and senseless. Genevieve is over dramatic and needs to relax, wtf with that Salley stunt, wtf with Teddi just ghosting 3 days in, and I can’t even look at Romeo or Jacob their both just odd. Hopefully things get better as the season progresses.
I want you to know that I love your coverage so much that I have not bothered to watch the actual show anymore and now I just watch yours.

Bachelor Fantake!! I have a question for you, it would be interesting to hear your take on the status of the bachelor/ette franchise and how much longer it can last . I’m not sure about anyone else but I went from an avid fan who would watch whole seasons starting in 2016- 21 to literal disinterest watching a single episode (except for your vids, I will always support you!🥰 and your recaps are legendary!) but the franchise is heading into a state of disrepair and I wonder if you had any thoughts about this. I think it has a majority to do with casting, but would love to hear your thoughts and anyone else with a opinion about this:)
To me it seems like they are giving us what they think we want to see, but are missing the mark by a mile. I imagine them in a pre show meeting talking about how genius their ideas are and how much we are gong to love it. For me though, I find my self plugging my ears and closing my eyes to all the cringe. They also seem to want to highlight how staged and manipulative they are with the cast.
@@LindaCapra I agree!! Thank you. It’s just so odd to me how the format remains virtually unchanged but it went from enjoyable to some rare cringe moments (like Luke p or annoying competition group dates) to just full of gimmicks and unbearable and shallow people.

The producers are clearly nothing more than a pack of high school bullies, stirring up cringe-filled drama and preying on the easy targets. They are despicable. They are the true villains of the franchise. It's not the cast that is to blame, it's the people creating the show. They all need to be fired and replaced. Until that happens, the show deserves to go down in flames and disappear from relevance.
