    Summing up:
1)RP-15/XMG Core 15 best performance(and probably best laptop in general)
2)HP Omen 15 if you want to save some money(great cooling, good performance)
3)If you only have about $600-700 the Acer Nitro 5 packs great hardware for the money with a few drawbacks
4)Asus G14 if you want a portable machine with great productivity and good gaming performance(bad screen response time and sometimes it runs hot, even if not as terribly as other gaming laptops)
5)You could save more money and get the Dell G5 SE for $900-1000 but it has some flaws that make it worth spending more for the Omen 15
6)If a good configuration of the Lenovo Legion 5 goes on sale(Lenovo has often sales on their website) go for it
Avoid Asus TUF A15 and MSI Bravo 15.
The Asus G15 is not worth it, the laptops mentioned above offer a better experience for the same amount of money.

The more expensive HP Omen, in addition to coming stock with 16 GB of RAM, also has a 1 TB SSD as opposed to 512 GB. As such, I believe the extra $100 is justified.

    G'day Tim,
I don't need a Laptop so not planning on buying so don't normally watch Laptop content, but I have been watching your content to support the Channel & I have really enjoyed your Laptop Content this year,, just like Steve + Teddy Jr. with their Desktop content & your Monitor Content you are very thorough & honest with your reviews,
I hope for those who are Laptop buyers TongFang can develop other models that are as competently Designed & Priced like the XMG Core 15, Maybe they can be the ones to Shake up the Laptop Market to deliver better Products at realistic prices

For anyone looking to upgrade the RAM kits in the HP OMEN 15, be wary since RAM compatibility is an issue on this laptop (I know since I own one and have had many issues). Make sure your kit is rated for 1.2v and make sure to get a kit that's 3200mhz at CL16. The stock RAM in the laptop is 1.2v 3200mhz CL16 and you can run into problems if the kit you grab isn't the same spec.

I would like to see the following well (re)designed notebooks with AMD interior on the market
    - Asus ZenBook (Pro)
    - Dell Latitude 7xxx
    - Lenovo Thinkpad Txxx or X
    - HP EliteBook
My next notebook would be one of the options above.

I just ordered the eluktronics Thinn 15 since I didn’t want a dGPU in a laptop and at $800 barebones it works for my needs. I’ve got so dimms and NVME drives all over the place.
I like that they offer barebones configurations.
The Thicc 15 was a tempting choice though. For desktop am4 and the 2070. Barebones for $1100 usd.

Got the G14 myself and I think it's the best of everything. Absolutely crushes any number of tasks simultaneously and gaming too; especially when oc'd. The RTX 2060 in my system boosts to over 2Ghz (2010Mhz) and sustaines clocks between 1543-1741Mhz while gaming. That is seriously impressive and makes good use of the 120hz display even with everything Max'd out in all AAA games at the screen's native 1080p resolution. It's simply unprecedented performance in a 14' 3.5lbs form factor. Imo it's one of the finest laptops on the market.

I have a Lenovo ideapad 5 14 inch with a 4500u, 16gb 3200mhz ram (ddr4, not ddr4x or a low power variant), 100%srgb screen, metal chassis, fingerprint reader and wifi 6 for roughly 760 euros (611 with student discount from lenovo's website) it's an absolutely insane deal if you just want a fast office laptop with great screen quality and a solid construction. Keyboard is pretty good too imo.

I have to say that I bought a Acer Nitro 5 over a year ago at a big discount and it has really surprised me how good of a laptop it is for the price. While it does have a fairly low end AMD 560X graphics card it does manage to play most AAA games well at lower settings. I have, however upgraded to a Legion 5 with the RTX 2060 so I can use it for VR applications but it also costs double what the Nitro was for me at the time.
