Thank you for touching on the differences between old and new. Especially the exact thickness differences and the lume pip on the 3 hour marker. Most reviews only really talk about the movement difference and the 5 lines of text. I decided on the pre in house movement now.
Just got mine yesterday the 2013 25500TN ETA it has seen more of the world then me as it belonged to a Pilot haha. And even in 2023 its still bangin! It got a bit of the Patina and mostly scratch free (only minor desk scratches and the steel caseback has some wear) Im so frickin happy with this watch! And i prefer it above my sub for wearing, as 1 its safer to wear in the big city's and its more matte then for example the Omega superocean. I dont like loud and bold. The ETA is Great as a Lambo tractor Plus the seller told me it could very much become a collectible. Tldr. Allround the perfect toolwatch
Another watch I’d like to own. Sometimes the starkness of the contrast looks a little cartoonish to me, and I’d like to see the lume markers have a titanium outline to make it look more finished, but I get that it’s a tool watch. The 4 line text on the update doesn’t bother me. The partial pip at 3:00 is a detail I prefer. Love the crown guards, and no fake rivets! Yay! I hope Colorado is treating you well. I lived in Pueblo West from ‘96-‘11. Loved the climate out there.
Is my 6.5" wrist man enough to wear this watch? I have no issue wearing my Seiko 5 Divers with similar dimensions except they are only 46 L2L (with female end links) compared to the Pelagos 50mm.
Nice detailed review. Would you still pull the trigger on one if you get the chance? What is your experience with scratches after wearing it several months?
I do my best to explain that in the video. Honestly, I would approach any Rolex purchase with skepticism if it's a private seller. Make sure you get things verified before purchasing would be my recommendation.

No problem. I like the two-liner much better. Well done! Glad I could help.

Did you noice something was off.

? What was off?
just say this video, good review........did you ever sell it? I have been in the market for the ETA based pelagos.
A real tool watch. Tudor is where Rolex was in the 1960’s, imo.
100%. Although I think the black bay line is purposesly held back to not compete too directly with Rolex.
good luck 🤞
