I've been doing a number of leg stretches, hip mobility movements and some weight training alongside healthy eating and some daily cardio. It all adds together and I've definitely improved my mobility. Thanks for your help

Definetly got picked on running try outs due to this, running became my hobby but for some reason my strides and doing good enough, this really helped me by a ton

Same as me and it hurts a lot. I've been into martial arts for about 1 year now amd we need to stretch our hamstring every week😭 thankfully, it doen't snapped😂
that just means you should do it even more, sounds like insane inflexibility issue. Stretch it in controlled manner too, you dont want to feel stinging pain or any sort of pain at all, you should feel discomfort at max, like you can hold it but have to manually do it yourself kind of discomfort. I had that with my ankles, felt like they would break if i did some harder flexibility movements for them, couldn't even do half rep of basic stretches, now they're as flexible as they could be even with hight level stretches.

I've only been doing this a few days, sadly when i started i barely could get to my knees with a straight back but it makes me excited to say I'm only a few inches away from touching my feet/floor! :D
With doing yoga/pilates I've been making an effort to focus on fixing my hips into the correct square position so i don't stick with that bad habit, bc when i tried getting my splits before my hips were never square which is wrong so 👍

Can you do a video for stretching the entire tendon? I had a lot of leg spasms and the therapist told me to stretch the entire leg 3x nightly. I found it works better if I do this in the AM and afternoon. I'm using a fabric gait belt. I stopped for a while, and it's very hard, but the tendon still responds.

Do you have any tips for sciatic nerve flossing? I always feel the nerve stretching when I'm trying to stretch the muscle
This is actually the exercise you want to do for that. More often than not the tightness you feel when stretching isn't your hamstrings tightening but your nerve, so do this exercise to slowly place that nerve into the best possible canal in between those muscles.

This might not be exactly what you mean but try this neural stretch my wife taught me. She's a physio... Be in a seated position although I prefer being slightly higher than a normal chair, I often use the edge of the bed or the arm of the sofa. Bring your chin down to your chest and curve your spine downwards which will activate the nerves before the muscles. Raise one leg at a time to feel the stretch, as you reach a straight leg you can raise your chin up a bit but return it to your chest as you lower your leg. 20 on each side. Hopefully if you sort the nerves out the hamstring muscle should feel the stretch on exercises like in this video.

Without full ankle plantar flexion you aren't getting hammies, but neural stretch. Also, why wave your body weight out in space, crazy! Do hammies in sitting, or with the foot up, ankle pushed away, chin up a little. #knowyouranatomy

If you have tight hamstring then don't stretch Hamstring. Enough for today .
Pretty bad advice. Increases the toughness and time taken for the stretch without adding any advantage. This just adds onto the EXOTIC factor lol😂
How long for the flexibility to return? I’ve been doing this for almost a year every morning. I have gotten better but am still struggling to be as flexible as I once was 😢
