@@miami3863 I think it’s really hard to really know a vehicle at the media events because of the short period of time they have with the cars. But they also never invite average owners. I already have infotainment feedback for Rivian but they might not respond to the feedback.
This was very helpful because i now know what to look for and where to look for it if there is any issue. That fact that you found the rattling in those two different spots saves me the headache of figuring out that kind of stuff. Thank you.

Thanks for the insight. Thinking about g2 r1s upgrade…How’s the G2 wind noise? My 2022 R1T has a lot of wind noise above 70mph. Also, how’s the ride of the G2 r1s compared to the g1 R1T? I never liked the g1 r1s ride, but I really like my g1 R1T ride.
The Gen2 ride quality is amazing. Less road vibration and road jitters if you know what I mean. I wish they had used acoustic glass for the windshield like Tesla is doing with the Model 3 refresh. I now drive the R1S more than the R1T.
Such a better ordering experience than Tesla, in my opinion. Feel like im dealing with adults and not children. Ive ordered a R1S, which will hopefully be delivered next month.
Make sure to periodically check in about the location of your truck. Everyone there is super nice and I find they actually take the time to walk you around the vehicle. A service that Tesla has stopped doing.
They have not responded to several email inquiries. No way I am purchasing a vehicle from them in spite of the potential. Especially if I need to put in multiple service tickets upon delivery. Sticking with BMW. At least I will never be out a vehicle/ waste my time for replies from a new company that will probably be bought out at some point.
@metalmilitia224 Wierd. Have you tried calling? They are super quick to respond in my exerience. BMW is nice, but their EVs are lacking and I'm not a fan of the front bumper designs.

I also asked myself the same question when I drove around my neighborhood. The mystery was resolved when my neighbor let me in on a little secret called the 50/50 club. When you get married everything is on sale at 50% off because your partner is paying half the bill. But the deal only last as long as you have access to your partners' bank account. Thus I got married real quick!! 50/50 for life for the benefit of my driveway.
@@snomofilms yes. Rivian realized that there was only one tire option for people and it was not a good business move since they had to always be the ones to supply the tire. The default is now a 20” rim with all season tires.

Gen 2 has much better build and the suspension feels much better.

Mine has the side storage in the 3rd row. I think max pack still get the side storage but the standard pack ones dont get it.

@@joke2727 The car does not cool down as fast as Gen1. It’s a little bit more efficient than Gen1 dual motor but nothing drastic.

21” wheels aren’t available on the gen2 vehicles

Just cancelled my ascend pre order. Quality of this car is way too low for such an expensive car.
I dont think the ascend is worth it for the price. The set quality is not as good as a range rover yet they are demanding that price tag.
