It is a great car. I have to say that the HVAC system has been a letdown, and you are not able to schedule preset temperature set for departure time like gen 1. I have not driven a tri yet but cant wait..

I am working on two backpack videos but I tend to use bags for 1+ years before posting videos. I have found most youtubers don't really use the bags. They just review them for views then move to the next. I actually keep the bags I review.

Mine has the side storage in the 3rd row. I think max pack still get the side storage but the standard pack ones dont get it.

I dont think the ascend is worth it for the price. The set quality is not as good as a range rover yet they are demanding that price tag.

@@zerodiscount8812 they definitely have a long way to go in terms exterior fit and finish.

I also asked myself the same question when I drove around my neighborhood. The mystery was resolved when my neighbor let me in on a little secret called the 50/50 club. When you get married everything is on sale at 50% off because your partner is paying half the bill. But the deal only last as long as you have access to your partners' bank account. Thus I got married real quick!! 50/50 for life for the benefit of my driveway.

The Gen2 ride quality is amazing. Less road vibration and road jitters if you know what I mean. I wish they had used acoustic glass for the windshield like Tesla is doing with the Model 3 refresh. I now drive the R1S more than the R1T.

You will love the lack of battery drain, cameras and suspension. What configuration dd you get?

@@snomofilms yes. Rivian realized that there was only one tire option for people and it was not a good business move since they had to always be the ones to supply the tire. The default is now a 20” rim with all season tires.

@@PatrickBonsi stinks, I have the 21” on my R1T and will likely have to go with a different wheel tire combo when these tires need replacement

Agree, I’m so tired of “pro” TH-camrs. They regurgitate the same lame stuff they get off twitter and Reddit. This was a nice change to actually see genuine and in some instance new stuff.

@@miami3863 I think it’s really hard to really know a vehicle at the media events because of the short period of time they have with the cars. But they also never invite average owners. I already have infotainment feedback for Rivian but they might not respond to the feedback.
